Exceeded my expectations. I had a tear in my Mustang seats probably from my big ass and these guys replaced the leather in the panel for both the driver and passenger seat. They matched the existing stitching and it is better than new. Amazing craftsmanship.
They are fair, honest and do good work. Thanks Mario.

I dropped off some seats for me Car two months ago! So far I have received back only the rear seat.. Still waiting on the two front seats! He said this Friday..five Friday's ago!! Now he is not answering my calls! I guess I have to drive down there to see what's up!!! If I had known it was gonna take this long and he was going to avoid my calls! I'd have taken my business somewhere else!
Yes he does great work!! But no excuse!
Be careful if you expect prompt service..

I took the seats of my two wave runners to be reupholstered by them. They were able to accommodate me with the custom marine material and layout that I wanted. He told me they would be ready 1 week later. I couldn't get a hold of them on the phone so I went to the shop a week and a half later. Nothing had been done yet to my surprise. He told me they would be ready that Friday. They were not ready when I arrived on Friday. Then he told me they would be ready Monday. Once again they were not ready. They were finally ready on that Wednesday. The end result was amazing and the pricing was fair. I hate it when people do not deliver the day they say they will. Since it happened twice I am giving them less stars.

The past couple of years I've had a small rip on the center console of my car. Finally one day the infamous slit decided to grow like the sleeping giant. At first I ignored the monstrous cut, but it was too great to ignore any longer. So I searched the ends of the valley for the perfect upholster and reading from reviews I was nervous anyone touching my car.
Finally after days of researching and traveling miles (5 in fact) for the right shop I found this one. This shop is quit hidden that if you were driving fast through Van Nuys you miss it within a blink. Parking here is tricky as it is located in a mechanics haven.
When I found it, I parked my car in the street just in case I needed an escape route.
As I walked in, I was quickly greeted. I told them that I needed the center console repaired. The shop guy brought out his tools and just like that went into my car to remove the console. After many years the console was taken out and for a whole weekend I was console-less. Melodramatic yes. Alright I know that isn't a word but you understand. That following Monday I got the good news that it was ready. I rushed out of the office to the shop, immediately upon arriving had it installed. The center console looks like new, you can't tell where the slit was before. The best part about it is that it was so inexpensive, surely encourages me to come here again. Great customer service, inexpensive cost and one of the best jobs done on my car. Excellent Job Guys.

Advance Auto & Boat upholstery is the best place to fix any upholstery problem in your car.They are the best I'm glad that I took my car to them. I'm impress with the quality of their work and their prices. They are the best in town. Mario is an excellent

I recently allowed a co-worker to take my a car for a week until I get back, well turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. She somehow ripped into both the driver's & passenger leather seat cushions on my Acura RL.
After I cooled down, I looked around the Internet for a few hours and was able to find Advanced Auto & Boat Upholstery. Talked to Mario and within the hour I was there to get an estimate. Compared to the 9 other places I looked around, Mario had the best price. Though the installation took a while, but it came out to be better than I expected. The seats looks factory brand new! Overall it was a pleasure doing business with them.

Read some of the reviews and thought I would give them a try. I took my motorcycle seat to them for a small tear that was getting bigger by the day. Took it in late on a Friday afternoon and had it back that Saturday. It looks so good I need to get the pillion done so it will look as nice as the riders seat. Great price.

Excellent service and fast! First off, I went to my dealer (Infiniti) for my car seat which became unhinged. They immediately said it would be $140 to check it out and prob ~1600 to replace the seat chassis. Whoa! I immediately got out of there and checked out auto upholstery placed. After a few, I found Advance and I'm glad I did. The guys that work there told me it could be fixed and to return in a few days. Well when I got there today, I spoke with Mario (boss) who said it may be fixable or need a part. He checked it out and welded it on the spot, now it works perfect, all for less than the dealer's "inspection" price. Go there and ask for Mario! As for the dealer, well you can tell them to keep shining their cars for themselves, what a rip!!!

Friendly Customer Service and a Perfect Upholstery Job on my Car makes this place a REAL 5 Star Location. I went to several other upholstery shops who had not only high prices, but in the 3 I visited, were VERY rude. I called Advance Auto Upholstery after I looked them up on Google (after going to 3 very bad auto upholstery shops). I ended up taking my car here, Mario gave me a excellent price, and completed the work perfectly in a short amount of time. Mario is someone I can refer to my friends and family. Highly recommended for any upholstery work. You won't be dis-satisfied! I promise!
