My experiences have been with Bob Sr., Bob Jr., Mike and other members of the staff. In each instance, I've found everyone of them professional in answering even the most insignificant question thoroughly and timely. At present, I'm having them perform extensive engine work done on my Mitsubishi 2004 Spyder. So far, the work has been done under the estimated price. In closing, let me state that Lloyds has always performed any work I requested or wanted done to a condition that I couldn't have possiblly expected not to mention, that it was finished under the estimate I was initially given. It would appear obvious from the above, I pass along HIGH MARKS for Lloyds Collision. But let me state something one generally finds in this trade, it's the fact that I consider Bob Lloyd a very dear friend who goes out of his way to help others, something I've witnessed time and time again."

Rear ended someone, couldnt even lift the hood of my car. Other places quoted me around 500-1000 dollars for a fix, these guys did it for under 300. They were patient with me when i had a hard time finding a new hood and held my car there for no extra charge. When i finally found a new hood, they went above and beyond what was asked of them in fixing it. They will be my first choice from now on.

These guys are super honest and do great work! I don't deal with body shops too often, and I was a little weary at first- only because I didn't know what to expect. However after talking to them and seeing how they communicated with Progressive, I was sold.
I brought my car to them after a rear end collision. They had to remove a rear molding off the rear quarter panel to repaint it. They reattached it, but forgot to install the retaining clips so the molding was about 1/4" off from the body of the car. I picked it up at progressive and noticed it right away.
I let progressive know, they went out and took photos and told me they'd contact the shop to see if they'd removed it. I thought "great, well the shops going to say no they didn't touch it- and now my panels going to be like that for the rest of its life". However this was not the case as the shop did communicate with them that they had removed the panel. This was my first hint at how Loyds does business. The shop called me personally and asked to bring my car in.
I left it there first thing in the morning, and within an hour Robert Jr. Called me back and said that the guy who installed it had forgoten to throw the clips back on the panel when he installed it. He apologized and said how embarrassed he was-
Listen, working on a car is like playing with a large jigsaw puzzle with hundreds of tiny pieces and a couple of larger ones that make up most of the picture. Mistakes happen and tiny pieces can be left out, especially when you're juggling with 20+ different jigsaws at the same time. I'm fine with mistakes as we're all human and make them- but it's the OWNERSHIP of them and taking the correct actions to rectify them that really sold me on Loyds. That is something that is hard to come by now a days, and when you find it- it deserves to be mentioned and brought to light.

great price for great work, the rear bumper was painted on my 2013 camaro and looks as good as new. i've had other parts added on to the car and painted elsewhere where the paint does not match perfectly in the sunlight but that was not an issue at all here, does not even look like it has been messed with. they also painted the grille for a great price and had the car finished in a reasonable amount of time, and were able to give me a ride home when i dropped off the car plus help me bring my second vehicle back home when i picked up the car. definitely coming back whenever i need anything done to any of my cars
also very trustworthy, they removed the front fascia to paint the grille and found a wiring problem to my fog lights and were getting it fixed at no charge just in case it was damaged upon removal (it had been damaged previously not by them) and after i told them this they still fixed it at no charge.

I picked up my car today and I have to say, wow! I got into a fender bender around the first week of April. Cars bumper had a crack and it was lose. So through my insurance I was sent here, an I'm so happy with the results. I dropped my car off Monday at about 12 and they called me Thursday afternoon with everything all done. They replaced the bumper, painted it and even cleaned the inside of my car. I just had to pay my deductible and that's it. I checked over my estimate and they charged fair and honestly if I ever have to ( which I pray I never have to) use a collision center again I will come back to this one. The staff were friendly, they were on it and above all I felt like I was generally taken care of.

So much awesomeness to talk about!! OK, where to start...
The day I pulled in to get a quote for the damage on my car I knew I came to the right place. I was having a hard time with my insurance company and felt they were giving me the short end of the stick. They helped me handle everything. I never even met the adjuster.
What I liked the most about this shop was that I felt super comfortable talking with the staff. I never once felt like a customer. I felt like a friend. I trusted them from the start and when I picked up my car, I was ecstatic. It looked brand new. The color, the finish, everything.
I my insurance didn't even include some of the repairs in my estimate. Lloyds did the repairs anyway and I didn't have to deal with any of it. My insurance didn't even send the payment to me until a week after the repairs were finished. It didn't matter to them if I had the payment, they told me to pick up my car anyway, and to just bring the check to them when I got it.
Amazing business, amazing professionals, and amazing work!!
Now, to change insurance companies!

This was our first visit to Lloyd's. My husband "somehow" significally scratched my two week old 2016 mustang. Went to Lloyd's, the employees were super friendly and professional. My review is in response to Paul A's review dated 12/29/15. I am the actual customer who's vehicle was repaired due to him rear ending me on 12/15/15. He did not want to go through his insurance and wanted to pay for the repairs because he works for a car dealership and wanted to use the repair shop that they deal with because it would cost him less as he could instruct them to do as minor as possible to keep the cost down. I asked if I could take it to one of my choosing and he agreed, then when I did, that is when issues started to arise. Lloyd's is a top notch company that truly prides themselves by being honest and providing excellent service. They bent over backwards to try to appease him with the price of the repair. My KIA Soul was purchased with the premium package. The estimate that was given was without knowledge of a particular sticker on the bumper that had to be replaced. As for being rude, it was not Lloyd's employees being rude but Paul. His behavior towards them was unacceptable and unprofessional. I know this because he was all nice to me, even when I paid a visit to his place of employment to inquire if there was a problem. After that visit he finally returned their call asking for the address and abruptly hanging up on them. He showed up yelling and cursing and made the payment then called me and rudely told me that payment had been made and abruptly hung up! Needless to say I was extremely embarrassed and apologized profusely to them when they PERSONALLY DELIVERED my car to my home. My car looks brand new and I couldn't be more pleased with the repair. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing repairs done to any vehicle.

My Camry had a broken door latch, and the people who do my alignment and brake work recommended I come here. Robert Jr. and Matt's customer service was impeccable! They are the nicest guys you could want to meet, got the door fixed faster than I could have expected, and the grand total was less than what the LABOR ALONE was going to cost at a certified Toyota place. Definitely recommend this place!!! I was in an accident at the end of June and I decided to take my Kia Sorento here for repairs because the reviews had been so great. The damage to my car was major and I was really nervous about the cost and the out come. Needless to say, all the repairs came out phenomenally!!! My car looks all shiney and brand new. I HIGHLY recommend this place. I'm guilty of never leaving reviews, but I had to leave a review of this place. My mirror was broken off and I needed a new one. Problem is and what we ran into was, '03 Spyder mirrors aren't in production anymore. No problem for Mikey, he found a used one and painted it to the exact color of my original mirror. Came in after lunch and 20 mins later I was done. The customer service is amazing and they provide great work for a fair price. This is the most painful experience I've ever had, my brand new car a Buick regal gs turbo pearl white had a tree fall on it and I was recommended Lloyd's auto collision in Santee by progressive insurance, it was guaranteed so I was sold by the reviews and recommendation of progressive. When I called the owner inquiring about my car he assured me this is a nice car I'm going to take my time with it, well a month later I got my car and it last looked horrid, the paint color didn't match, the rear bumper which had nothing wrong with it was removed and put back on but now with a scratch and an uneven alignment where it merges together, the front windshield had been replaced but the new one had a chip in it, the door now squeaked, and to top it off the paint had waves in it! All I can say it wow, thanks for making my car look good....now its at Millers and the owner went through it all with me when I went over there UNLIKE Lloyd's in Santee when I went down there Robert just pointed to my car and didn't even spend a minute with me, what a waste of time, to top it off I had to pocket the car rental bill while they jacked up my car for a whole month

You never want to need a collision and repair center-- but, due to my car being hit twice in the past year (yes, that can actually happen)-- I needed a great place that I could trust. My work is super close to this shop and a co-worker recommended them. There are a ton of great reasons I went to them twice: I was pretty much blown away by how communicative they were about the repair process, impressed by how quick they were to let me know about any change in repair scheduling for the work, surprised by how totally upfront and fair and reasonable they were- and finally-- they just flat-out do amazing work! This is a family owned business and the fact that they truly like their customers shows in their work, in the way they deal with you and just in how upfront and real they are. I can't say enough about how eager they clearly are to meet and exceed expectations. Having needed their services twice in the past year-- because I hope I don't have to use them again (!) -- I just need to pass along the good vibes they sent out to me and let other people know what a great choice they are... So very impressed!

I used Lloyd's Collison repair for repair work after an accident with my 2007 Hyundai. They were great.My insurance paid for the repair and I asked if I could take it to Lloyd's because they were a local small business and I had heard good things about their work. Allstate was happy to hear of my choice and my repairs would be guaranteed as they are a recommended repair facility. My car was done quickly with no headaches. They dealt with my insurance and took care of everything.The color match was perfect and I am so happy with the work.

I took my wife's Acura TL to three Santee body shops for estimates on dents and dings I had done over the years. I chose Lloyds as Robert Lloyd Jr. gave me a fair estimate, said he would do some extra no-charge clean-ups on the tiny/but annoying scratches and I could see that Robert is a genuine and honest businessman.. And... he was the only estimator who really understood when I said I owed my wife a perfect car as she had never made a mark on it. The car was done in less than a week and looking like it was brand new. Could not see anything but new looking car! And I'm a perfectionist. So that says a lot.
Now - before the paint is a month old, my wife scrapes a rocker panel!
So without a doubt nor any need at getting other estimates I took it to Lloyd's this week. I got a ride to my home, the same great service, the car repaired on time, and that good feeling from doing business with good people in your home town.

Lloyd's currently has my classic vehicle that is in a body off restoration. My car has been there for about six months and I am excited for the final results. Both Rob Sr and his son are passionate about bringing new life to classic cars. I feel comfortable with my investment in their hands. They are always positive when I show up to check out my car. They have treated me with no hassle respect and have always emphasized doing the right thing for myself and the vehicle. In life there are people who learn profit margins and how to be the most profitable. In the case of Lloyd's it is obvious that the focus is on the piece of art being built and excitement of bringing back memories of peoples past. The staff is clean cut and hard workers. I would recommend this company to anyone.

i recently went to lloyds to repair a bumper and side panel on my wifes honda civic,(shes not such a great driver) the employee mike that was helping me was very helpful and explained the process and gave me a price that beat all the quotes i had receaved from others, they did a good job the paint they used matched the factory honda paint perfectly and me and my wife thank you guys very much

After my Prius was rear ended, I was given a list by my insurance company and wasn't all that impressed, so I checked out some of the reviews at Yelp and boy, did they come through. Starting with the attitude, it was professional and knowledgeable.
And they are consistent, the service is as they say, your car needs the following and when it was completed, just like promised, done right. They know the whole system that is involved, you have a feeling of confidence that they will take care of all of the details. You definitely have the sense that they really care about getting the job done. When I picked up the car, it just looked so great, back to the way it was before the Rear End got hammered by some clown driving way too fast. The price structure is very fair, you know that they have been around for a while, will stay around and with the family involved, they take pride in their work.

I took my Jeep here after the corporate place my insurance recommended said they could not do the work for me.
My Jeep is an older one so I didn't care about fixing scratches on the bumpers, I only wanted it safe to drive and a little body work done.
I worked with Robert Jr and he was friendly and let me know everything he planned on doing with an time and cash estimate.
The time estimate went over by 2 days which was not a big deal to me and the estimate went up by about 3%, about $80.00 because they found more damage to the gas tank then expected.
They did a great job with my car and I am very pleased with the work done. I will recommend all my friends/family to them for body work.

This is the only place my husband and I will bring his Toyota Supra! He has a red Supra that has gotten into some fender benders and has gotten dinged when parked in the street, so we have been here frequently. Everyone at the shop is super nice, they take pride in what they do, and they really make every effort to be flexible to accomodate your schedule. They know it is hard not having your car around. The job they do is spot on, and the paint looks perfect! Way to go Lloyd's!

I was referred to this place, they installed some fenders and repaired a lip on my bumper, . The job took over 2 months, funny thing is I went in a week before they finshed and all had done in a month and was remove my fenders, I was given an eta of 2 weeks, each week promising it would be finsihed, best part is theres over spray on my headlights, the bondo work is shit, wavy . I pop open my hood they forgot to spray the jams of the fenders so when u open the hood u can see bondo. theres more, a molding was left out of this process they recieved it when they finished my cae, parts dept fault, no prob right just spray it ill throw it on myself, my repair was started in jan, as of today I called this morning and they still havnt "finished painting " it. Thats 5 months in .
I understand if u go to a cheap place ,u get cheap work, but they where paid close to $800 to paint to fenders and a little lip, wat some ppl pay for a whole car, really? Theyr hacks, I used to work for john hine dodge auto collision, I dont any tools anymore other wise I coulda done this drunk and high and done a better job.

Unfortunately, I have experienced terrible customer service here. I tried giving them a second chance to make up for their possible mistake but their true colors shined through. I was originally referred to Lloyd's body shop and given Robert Sr. to speak with. Well we spoke over the phone about doing an estimate on my car for a lawsuit. The car cant move and he agreed it wouldn't be a problem for him to come out, especially because I am only 1.8 miles away from the body shop. I called him on a Thursday and expressed to Robert Sr. the importance of getting my car quoted by Monday. Robert said he was tied up that day and he would be able to do it after he was free. I asked him if it was manageable to have it done on or by Monday and he not only said yes, he promised and said, "you have my word and I promise I will be there. " Well we spoke on Monday and he said he would show up late in the afternoon. I called him and he never returned my calls or voice messages. He never even called back to follow up and Robert just let it go.
I decided I would give Lloyd's a second chance, so I walked in a week later and re-introduced myself. Robert Sr. remembered who I was and our situation, he didn't even apologize for lying and breaking his "word", but for the moment I let it go. After speaking to Robert Sr. again he said he would be able to take a look at my car and give me a quote, all I had to do was give him a call at noon. I gave him a call at noon and I left a voice mail, describing who I was, gave him my contact info, and I reminded Robert that he had instructed me to call him. Yet again he broke his word and he didn't even take the time to call me back.
I would be cautions and very hesitant to take my car to a place that breaks their word and their promises, because what happens when you've spent your money and problems arise? How will they treat you? Will they ignore you or will they give you empty promises until you go away? I hope all of you in search of an auto body shop protect yourself in your decisions.
