Seriously, couldn't have asked for a better experience!
I'm originally from LA and whenever I have car problems my dad takes care of it for me, so to say that I had no idea how to look for a car shop on my own was an understatement. Found NAM through yelp and decided to call in and see if they could help me out. I talked to Romeo and he was completely courteous and helpful from the get go! He was able to fix the problem I had with my window getting stuck and gave me a great price as well, which I appreciated since I'm a full time student on a strict budget. The people at the shop were professional, helpful and trustworthy, great qualities in any business. I'll definitely return for any additional repairs my car might need.

Romeo and his team are great. I have a 2003 Honda Civic LX Coupe (Manual). I was on the verge of buying a new car before I brought my Honda into them, but they've done such a great job that I decided to keep my car until Romeo says it's time. It runs great with more than 248K miles. Their prices are fair, and they'll work with you.
The work that was done over the past year:
- Replaced clutch
- Replaced timing belt and water pump
- Replaced brakes
- Oil changes

I brought my car back here on March 1st and had to leave it there over the weekend. They were so helpful and friendly! They have a connection with Hertz car rental and were able to assist with hooking me up with a rental car until my car was fixed and at a discounted price! Woohoo! Because I have foreign car and it really needs to be taken to a specialist that deals with that type of car, North American Motors didn't charge me the full amount, which I truly appreciate (I'm on a serious budget). They're the most honest, polite and courteous auto mechanics I've ever met. I plan on trading in my car soon, and when I do, I will continue to come here for all my automotive needs.

I could not be more impressed by North American Motors! I feel extremely lucky to have found this shop and I will never take my car anywhere else. As someone with a limited income AND a limited knowledge of car mechanics, it is invaluable to have a mechanic that I can trust. Not only did Romeo and his staff spend a great deal of time explaining the exact nature of my car troubles to me- even taking me into the garage to show me the problem- but they also placed NO pressure on me to have the work done until I could afford it. Professional and honest, this is how a can describe this shop, I took my 2006 BMW in for overheating, I called the dealer they told me it will be ready in two days, I called NAM told me to bring it in, I was there at 10:00am the car was ready at 2:00pm

In this day and age, the saying "You ge what you pay for" holds true. Everyone seems to cut corners...things are cheaper, but don't last as long. If you want something done right, like your car repairs, go to NAM. They're ALWAYS courteous and they take the time to explain (and show you) what repairs were done. Our family has gone to NAM for years and we have always been more than happy with their work, professionalism, as well as their friendliness. My beater car (earyly 90's compact) not only runs, it runs great...all because of NAM. If you want superior service on your car, NAM is the place.
