Had an altercation with a curb, which led to the bottom cover of my car dragging. Lamberts fixed it for me at no charge and while doing so discovered that my dealer ship didn't tighten my oil filter during my last oil change. These guys are great they ended up saving me from a HUGE headache later down the road. Live in Arlington but I would make the drive for these guys. I can tell they are great people and truly do CARE about their customers. Will be recommending from now in!

My sister drove in from Arkansas to visit for Christmas. A couple of days before she was to return home, she discovered a strange noise coming from her car. It sounded like the wheel bearing needed to be replaced. So we took it to Lambert's Automotive in Rowlett, whom we have done business with for 15 years. The owner Mr. Chris Lambert, personally tested her vehicle and discovered that it was her new tires were the source of the noise. He then checked out the rest of the car to make sure she wouldn't have any issues on her journey home and did so at no charge! They are the most honest and trusted automotive repair business that we have ever dealt with. The entire Elliott Family highly recommends them for anyone in North Texas for your automotive needs.

My car leaked oil and needed to be towed. Any time we have an issue we go straight to Lambert's and have done so for quite a few years. Turns out my oil leaked and splattered all over the car, on the body and under the hood. Chris took the car to the car wash, cleaned the oil out from under the hood (looked brand new under there when he was done) and he only charged me for the oil change. When I went to pick up my car he helped me with a photography project by allowing me to photograph him working under the hood. Thanks Chris!

I have used Lambert's several times. They are good and trustworthy. Twice, I had follow up issues; and they worked the problem to my satisfaction at no additional cost.

This place came highly recommended from a friend who knows a lot about cars, so we started using them a few years ago. And we are soooo glad we did. They are so incredibly honest that they tell me when a problem is so minor that there's no need to spend money on it. Time after time, I've put them in a position where they could've taken advantage of me, but they always tell me when repairs are unnecessary. Plus if I bring my car in for a "Check Engine Light" thing and it's a minor issue (like a gas cap), they don't charge me anything at all. They are 100% solid gold and I trust them without hesitation.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE ,I am car guy I used to be a GM mechanic but got out of the game (yes thats what it is) years ago. So lets talk about Lamberts Automotive. I have Jeep Grand Cherokee, its older 1995. I took it to Lamberts because it wouldnt start it would crank over all day but was not getting fire to the spark plugs. After looking at it they called me and told me I needed a new distributer, Im a car guy I dont normally take my cars/trucks to anyone and this is why they always try to up sale you a part or service that you dont need. When I asked why I need a new distributor to make it have spark to the plugs they couldnt give me a good answer what I really needed was new battery cable ends. And after replacing them it started and ran fine

Obviously the last reviewer has no idea of what he is talking about. Lambert's is the most trust worthy and fairly priced in the area. I have been using Lambert's for 20+ years and have always been treated fairly and curteously. I say to last reviewer go use your 3 other quotes and when their shotty repair work does not hold up oh well you can i guess be just as satisfied by paying to have the job done again...

I have been using Lambert's for over 30 years.
Took my daughter's 1999 GMC pick up in yesterday, thinking it needed a new ignition switch. Turned out it was just a loose wire...no charge!!
About 7 years ago, her A/C wasn't working...charge..$1.50 for a new fuse.
They will not do unnecessary repairs, or overcharge for repairs.
They are not fancy, don't offer a lounge to wait in, Keurig coffee maker or free wifi, but you don't pay for any of that either!!

Unlike the other reviewer, I have no complaints with Lamberts. I too am a car guy. I do ALL of my own work...within reason. For the more complex or time consuming jobs, I use Lamberts. I have NEVER been upsold at Lamberts. I bring the vehicle in, Lamberts quotes a reasonable price and they do good work.
And I am not alone. My friends and neighbors use Lamberts.
As an anecdotal example, I was recently working on my son's PT Crusier, replacing the Steering Rack's pressure sensor. Upon inserting the new sensor, I tightened it without a torque wrench...mistake. Ruined the threads. So, I purchased a new steering rack. I could have replaced it myself, but I called Lamberts to get a quote on the labor alone, since it is a tedious, time-consuming task. They were very reasonable and accepted the job even though they weren't getting the markup on the parts. Several hours later, and my son says it is like driving a new car.
I have no affiliation with Lamberts, except that I often throw money their way. They do good work and in my experience have been honest. Don't hesitate a moment when needing auto repair work. Give Lamberts a call.
