Great mechanic! Ricardo is awesome he is very affordable and does a stellar job! He has been servicing my 1986 Ford Econoline for the last two years! The Van runs like it's fresh off the lot every time I pick it up from him :)

Ricardo has been working on my 1986 Ford Econoline for the last two years and he has always done a stellar job! Every time I drive the van off the lot of his little hole in the wall shop it drives as if I had purchased a NEW van (considering it's age) I trust Last Lap Mechanic shop to always get me the best service at a VERY reasonable value! Cada vez que paso mi camioneta fuera de su taller conduce como si me hubiera comprado una camioneta nueva (teniendo en cuenta la edad de mi camioneta) confo con el taller "Last Lap Mechanic Shop" para todos mis servicios por el mejor servicio a un valor muy razonable! Un milln de gracias por estar ah para m siempre!

I will be the first to review this Auto repair shop.
First and foremost be forewarned and advised that this business can be considered a HOLE IN THE WALL type business, due to huge amount of auto repair shops in the vicinity of the area surrounding "Last Lap Mechanic Shop" you will have to LOOK FOR THEM! they are located on the NORTH EAST CORNER of the lot to the back of the whole "4WheelParts" business park are :) So please do NOT mistaken them for someone else of those shops, and be sure to ask for RICARDO of LAST LAP since otherwise some of those mechanics can be shady and pretend they are someone they are not simply to take work from other people HAHAHA It almost happened to me :) so that's my warning!
Two years ago when I decided to purchase an old 1986 Ford Econoline for business purposes I KNEW that buying an old car may likely result in more work needing to be done in the long run. I purchased my van because for it's age it only had a hair over 100k miles on the engine and it was running strong, I wanted to keep it that way. The van had a history of neglect since it's previous owner had passed away and it had been sitting for a while, so I knew it needed work.
I meet Ricardo and his Wife a year prior to obtaining my van and since my regular Foreign auto mechanic would not touch Domestic American vehicles with a 50 ft pole I immediately thought of of Last Lap mechanic.
It was a big decision on my own part and I have to say I am absolutely blown away with the services and care they have always provided me from day 1. I realized after picking up my van today that they had ZERO yelp presence, since their little Auto shop is essentially hidden in the waaaay back of this business park I wanted to spread the word and get people to know what a great mechanic they may have not even 1 mile from them. Please check them out!
I can also say that EVERY time I have taken my old arse van to them and then picked it up, the van has driven much stronger and cleaner and smoother than the times before :) so I THOUGHT it was already awesome as it was when I picked it up the first time, however Last Lap is making me fall in love with my van every time I pick it up. HIGHLY recommended :)
If you do visit them make sure to ask for RICARDO of LAST LAP and tell him that you heard of him thru Yelp :) he would love to hear that!
