Mph Cycles is customer oriented

I started taking my car there after my warranty was up. I have been pleasantly surprised. They are more affordable and keep you informed of any other problems . Mostly work on upper end vehicles and cycles (foreign)

bad service, rude manager and costly unnecessary repairs, stay away

Dishonest people. They have no idea about fixing Mercedes. They will rip you off and create more problems in your car so they can keep milking you for more money. STAY AWAY!

The owner Mike Haven is very rude, I have been taking my cars to his shop for over 3 years, he has never been friendly, last time he caused an 8 inch rip in the leather of my car seat and had the audacity to have an attitude and be disrespectful by cursing at me, as if I should apologize to him, and this is after spending at his shop over $2300. Part of the $2300 was a $640 for a/c repair, the problem is exactly the same from day one. Seat can't be repaired partially, Repairs cost of seat is over $900 and that is an estimate I receive from a place he sent me to and he only offered a $300 and expect me the customer to pay the rest, the repair of the seat's other sections is a consequential damage of his damage and I the customer should not incur this cost. I own 2 Benz, I will not take my cars back to his shop ever again, if you want to spend your money to have your car worked on at least take it to a place that understand customer service.

Mike, the owner, and his team are awesome! I took my bmw to another shop for oil change, spark plugs and they dropped some metal in the engine which blew up my engine! Crazy BAD experience. Mike took time on the phone to explain what he can do, he did it and the other companies ins settled with me fairly. I could have lost $8k BUT Mike saved me! I just had a baby so having my engine blow up was a nightmare. I promise to bring All my bmw work to him in the future!!!

I can not speak about cars but if their service towards cars is anything like the service provided for my motorcycle MPH is the place to go. I owned a hyosung for many years and Mike, Larry and the staff here went above and beyond to help me with this fickle machine. I have been taking my bike for general service and they evev did a motor rebuild. Just remember these guys are busy all the time! I would recommend anyone to this shop for service in a heartbeat! Thanks for keeping me on the road guys!

Been taking my old cars to these guys for over 20 years - I have never been let down. These guys are the real deal. I worry that when I leave Houston I will have a hard time finding a good place for my old cars. I think I would rather sell them... Just wanted to update my review as it has been 2 years - as I said in my earlier review - this shop is great, Mike is a fair, straight shooter. I trust him 100%. I don't know what sublime1800 issues are. The prices that I have been given have never gone up - and if there were going to be higher I have always been advised of it. Look people, cars these days are complicated. Its make me comfortable that I have someone that knows what they are doing.

I've brought my BMW here for the past 7 years and Mike and his team have always done a fantastic job. They are honest and helpful and will do whatever it takes to repair your car properly and save you money.
Once, I had a flat tire about a mile from the shop. Mike happened to be driving by and stopped to replace my tire for me. I was impressed by his kindness and consideration.
MPH is the only place that I trust to take care of my car.

Went on a monday to get my bmw checked out they said they would look at it and let me know how much it would be to fix it. I called later that day since I hadn't heard from them and I spoke with Mike and he told me it would be about $1,500 to fix I said I can't do that today...and he got mad and didn't even let me finish talking I was about to say I would bring it back in 2 days but he instead said you can't do it today?! thanks for wasting my time i'm done looking at your car it'll be up front and he hangs up on me without me even getting a word in. I really was planning on bringing it back but with that attitude I will no longer return.

MPH IS THE BEST!!!
They have taken care of my '84 380SL for the past 3 years. Exceedingly competent.
Impeccable integrity. MPH is how all business' should be run.
P.S.: Reviewer "Kevin" is an angry idiot. Ignore that review completely. Anyone who has been to MPH knows better.

I have been taking my Benz 300d, BMW 745i, Volvo 850, Volvo XC70, Volvo 940, BMW 525 for over 20 years. I would not even consider anyone else working on my cars - if fact it stresses me out thinking that if I move away from houston - who will work on my cars -
I wish I had newer cars for Mike and Company to work on - since they do such a good job, there is no reason to get a new ones.
First class service - First Class people.

Called to get information on oil change for 2011 BMW 5 series. They stated they don't do pricing over the phone and wasn't friendly about it. it's a oil change guys! Im a new client. That's how you get new clients in the door.

I've used mph twice and found them to have a great deal of integrity. I've been burned by momentum bmw in the past. What sets mph apart is that I received clear pricing in advance (via email which was great) and they actually referred me back to the dealer for recall coverage. I'm ignorant about this stuff and it was refreshing to find a shop willing to be transparent - even if it means they give us business. I highly recommend Mike and his team at mph.

DISAPPOINTING! Will not trust Mike with our cars. Not only did he install a part in our car without telling us, even WORSE he first told us we DID NOT NEED that part.
Concerned we had a starter battery problem, and a secondary audio issue. Mike told us 'nope, it is not the battery' and then told us what (more expensive) part was needed. Weeks later picked up the car, and on the invoice was a starter battery, along with the other more expensive part. When asked why he installed what HE SAID we DID NOT NEED, he replied - he tested it after, and it needed replacing. When asked why we were not told he decided to replace the battery, he replied 'well, it came in for battery trouble' ... as if our concern equals our consent. The fact that he installed the new battery anyway has clear implications!!!! Ridiculously, he did not fix the audio at all, but told me it was working fine. As I drove away from MPH it was immediately evident the audio was not working fine, and the CHECK ENGINE light came on. I requested a written quote on what it would cost to resolve the issue with check engine light, to see if he was willing to put anything in writing. I was handed a sheet of copy paper with a handwritten (misspelled) notation to install parts with amounts. Not a professional quote on his letterhead. I have driven German cars for 30 years needing various repairs but have not previously experienced any service as bad as MPH. When it comes to MPH, I have no rant, no rage and no trust. I get the message. They apparently did not want our business again. They were not going to get it anyway. Perhaps MPH will get yours.

MPH is fantastic! They are honest and extremely knowledgeable. They have all the equipment the dealer has and more. I originally took my car with multiple electrical malfunction messages to a dealer. After a day, no prospects for a fix. Took it to MPH and Mike diagnosed (blown fuse) and had it fixed right away. He charged me only an hour for labor, maybe less, and had my car ready to roll in perfect shape. I will be taking both my 550i and benz to Mike and MPH from now on. Also going to post on bimmerfest. Again, great outfit and trustworthy. Mike and his team are top notch and highly trained.

It's weird that Jordan N and Alex K are from the west and east coasts but MPH is on the gulf coast.... I wonder if someone is offering a paid service to remove bad reviews.
I've been using MPH for 8 years now and have never had anything other that success at a fair price. I take all my cars there as well as my motorcycles.

I brought my '07 Camry here because my battery light was on, even after having replaced it myself recently. The car has 95K miles on it, so while it was in, I asked them to see if there was anything else that needed work.
Stewart was my mechanic, and within an hour, he had checked everything out and fixed my battery light problem (turns out he had to replace a fuse--super inexpensive) and pointed out a leak in my struts that I have a couple of months to get fixed. He didn't pressure me at all to get it done right then.
I will definitely bring my car back when she starts acting up again.

When I needed car repairs, I could always count on the people at MPH Automotive Services to get on the job quickly. I rarely was left without transportation for more than a day.
MPH Automotive Services specialized in Mercedes Benz and BMW automobiles but they also have a technician that services other imports and domestic vehicles.
Whatever my problem, I could always rest assured the mechanics would take care of the problem and get me back on the road. They are a superior automotive repair shop that I would recommend to anyone with special car needs.
