These guys are the best! I have had a problem with my trailer hitch wiring and could not find anyone to help me. It was a little complicated because I have an Audi with a European style plug. Dave got it done. Wish I had found him a lot sooner.

I had a "gotta be done yesterday!" drag racing muffler job that I brought to Dave midday on a Wednesday. Dave dropped everything he was doing to take care of me. I had lunch next door at a great little Mexican food restaurant. By the time I was done eating my job was finished. Dave had to carefully duplicate my old muffler flange angles off the car (I only brought him my old mufflers to show what was on the car before). When I got back to the track and bolted the new mufflers on, guess what? Perfect fit!! Good job! I will certainly use this shop again when the need arises.

It is so refreshing to find mechanics that are knowledgeable, fair, and friendly. Dave and his crew managed to get me in for an exhaust inspection on short notice, identified my issue(s), showed me the issues, and knocked out a muffler replacement at a fair price and very quickly. You can tell these guys know their stuff when it comes to exhaust systems. Great to have them as a local service resource. I'll definitely be a return customer and recommend them highly.

Dave's Muffler is a true gem! Their service is excellent, and prices are more then fair. They've helped me with difficult requests, but they're really best at being proactive on the overall health of the vehicle. Dave's mechanics are great and work hard to make things happen on time. I recommend Dave for all jobs...take your car in for diagnostics and he'll tell you what you need!

Dave is "The Man!
We were in a bind - the brakes lights on our vintage camper were not working and we were anxiously headed out to Burning Man.
The time was 6:15am....we knew we would have to wait. We called around at 8am and the other service shops in the area told us that we had we coincidentally pulled up in front of the perfect place. They assured us that Dave was fair and would do a good job. We stuck it out another 30 minutes and were not disappointed!
Dave and his team not only fixed our electric problem but checked our tires for us and put air into all of them without question.
Thank you Dave! We had a great time at Burning Man - thanks to you!

I have a friend who's daughter is attending collage in northern ca.. She was quoted over 800.00 for her car repair. They called me and ask if I knew someone since I visit friends there. Sent her to see Dave, the problem was a fuse... no charge! He was born and has lived there all his life. Everyone knows him and will tell you he is a stand up guy. You can trust Dave for anything.

Dave does it again. I tried to DIY my check engine light away to no avail. Dave
and his crew sorted it out in a couple of hours w/o any appt. I won't waste my time
trying to save $ DIY and bring it in 1st from now on. It's cheaper in the long run.
I can't say enough about this shop. Thanks again "Tailpipe" Dave and crew.....

Sonoma is so lucky to have this reputable auto mechanic in our town! My 15-year-old sweet, little Corolla was riding rough and needed an oil change. I first spoke with Dave on the phone and, rather than suggest expensive tests and parts, he suggested an oil change and a FREE inspection (comes with the oil change) to diagnose the problem. How much more honest can you get? When I brought it in, I spoke with Anthony, who was most helpful. They diagnosed the problem quickly, fixed it that day and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. They are definitely my go-to mechanic.

I found the Mercedes auto repair of my dreams. I've been taking my truck to Daves Muffler, who has expanded to auto repair. When my mercedes wagon needed service I called Dave. The wagon needed b, d, and e service and it was clear the brakes needed to be done. He did the full b, d, and e, replaced the front brake pads and sensors, the lower ball joints and changed the brake fluid, using all mercedes parts, all for $900. Anybody knows at the dealer this would have been $2k.
