I was concerned when I pulled up because the photos of the facility on Google are NOT the same as the actual facility. However, Eric, the owner, was awesome in his explanation of each and every item wrong on my Mercedes ML. I appreciate his genuine honesty and integrity. We're extremely happy to have found Armstrong Automotive and would highly suggest their services to anyone. They WASHED my dirty car and cleaned the floor. Who does that any more? Was extended a credit line of $1,500 by their in house financing company called Flex Pay Plus,(90 days same as cash) when i applied for the credit in October 2015. Went to this garage for maintenance work on November 11, 2015 to find out that this so called credit that was extended to me was no longer available to me, since the credit was cancelled a mere few days before this appt. So therefore I was stuck with paying the bill!! The garage says they would reapply for me and in doing so, I was declined and offered no "reasonable logical explanation" into why i was declined. While at the shop, a representative from Flex Pay Plus wanted to speak to me on the phone about my application that i submitted only a month ago, that gave me the credit. I addressed a shop employee behind the desk about this refusal of credit and he rudely ignored me without answering my question. Had i known this was going to happen to me, I would NOT have had this routine maintenance work done, and would have waited til I had the funds available since i'm on a very limited income from what little disability i receive. This same clerk who ignored me when i spoke to him, comes into the waiting room after my car is finished and asked me if i wanted my car washed. I was so appalled by this detached remark, since this garage advertises a free car wash with "any service"! I was simply mislead by this garage with the supposed credit limit that was extended to me, then to find out "AFTER" the work is performed, that there was no credit available to me to pay the bill. The employees of this business showed NO REMORSE for the cancellation of the credit.
In the meanwhile, i'm inundated with annoying emails from this garage telling me to make an appointment ASAP to get needed repairs done to my vehicle. They certainly DO NOT live up to their business motto " We put honesty,integrity and the customer ahead of sales. We believe that if we don't take care of our customers, then someone else will!" Well this customer will be looking for another automotive garage that "VALUES and APPRECIATES" it's customers, and lives up to their word! SHAME ON YOU, for your unethical business practices!!!
