2016 car show season is approaching and I thought that I would provide 6 month update review. Not entirely happy with my results, and I'm still disappointed at my car. Was recommended here as they supposedly had amazing body work/painting skills. To be brutally honest, the only thing that was amazing to me was the sheer lack in quality work that was done on my car. In June 2015 my car was involved in some pretty decent hail damage, somewhere to the tune of close to $9K. I... See More

Car is still not ready 2 weeks after the Monday I was told I would be able to pick it up. I recommend no one ever take your business here.

Took my boyfriends Scion here twice. They're quick, responsive and professional. The Scion looks good as new. I also really appreciate that they detailed the inside of my car before I picked it up. Thank you Jana, Amy and Golden Coach Work crew!

Slow. Held my car over two weeks longer than the delivery date. Constantly promised 'they would let me know' or 'you probably will be able to pick it up tomorrow'. Left me no bracket to mount a front license plate and a busted tow hook and promised they would contact me to get this corrected. Two weeks later, I've heard nothing...which seems to be par the course with these guys. Nice people, but totally unprofessional operation, and a terrible way to treat your customers.

Restoration body and paint work done on my Dad's (now mine) '63 Thunderbird. 50 years of exposure to Colorado sun and road salt were very evident. Jana and her crew of magicians used their special touch to restore rusted metal, dings and dents and color match the new paint in short order at a very reasonable cost. The 'Bird' looks brand new and the crew at GCW are so customer friendly, they just amazed this harsh old critic.. Highly recommended for all types of vehicles, foreign or domestic, young or old, custom or stock.. Can't say enough good stuff about their business and professionalism. SO much BETTER than the "scuff and shoot", high priced corporate "giants".

Jana does amazing work. Golden Coach stands by their estimates, does the work in a timely manner, (on schedule), communicates all work and when completed, looks brand new. They made the side of our motorhome look like new when I damaged it in a gas station. They also retro fitted the Blue Ox towing system on our car, which was quite the job considering it was an older car. I highly recommend Golden Coach for any and all auto body jobs.

We have used their services several time over the past few years. This is where we go when we need auto body work. It is nice to have a place you can trust and rely on. Friendly too.

two vehicles, both were fixed to perfection, on time as promised, at the price promised, and both were detailed in and out. Friendly customer service ...I can't say enough about them. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Jana is the auto body expert and magician! Job only took 20 minutes, and after the job was done, she even cleaned the dashboard of my car!

Wonderful experience. My car had some damage done to it by another shop and Jana got my estimate to us after we sent her some pictures. I didn't have to wait for weeks to get in to the shop, just to get an estimate, then wait more time to get the car fixed like the other shops. She set up a rental car for me and still came in cheaper than the others. It was all hassle free and the work was amazing! My car looks brand new and I couldn't be happier. Highly recommend to anyone!

Jana and Golden Coach are the best! I've taken my vehicles here for years, for everything from a side mirror replacement, to dents and dings fixes, all the way to truck bed spray liners. They definitely know what they're doing and always have some pretty cool cars in their shop!

I made a claim with insurance and then asked if the could also fix two holes in my front bumper about half the diameter of a pencil. Was told no problem. Later on I was informed it was going to be an additional $398, which I thought was a lot for two minor holes, and I had to pay out of pocket, but I digress I ok'd the repair as I appreciate quality work. My fault there. Dropped car off on 8 July 2015, and told it would be done by 22-23. Didn't get car back till 7 Aug 2015. I wasn't in a hurry for my car back, as I have another car. Take your time to do the job right, I'm patient, and I just wanted to have updates with my car, which I did not receive unless I called them. Upon receiving the car, I was shocked to see the lack in quality work that was done. There were a number of issues that needed to be addressed, and I was told to bring the car back in two weeks to have them fixed as the paint needs to be cured more. I typed out a page outlining issues with what I received. Door handles were scuffed and discolored, paint runs along the body and hood, edge of hood had little to no paint on it, fender edge had no paint on it, rear deck lid was wavy, old chipped emblems reused when new ones were supposed to be used, interior was a mess, missing interior tabs. Two weeks later took the car back and was told issues would be taken care of. Got the car back, paint run still in hood, edge of hood painted over with a paint brush, same with fender, Rear deck lip still wavy, missing tab in passenger door. They tried to order the interior tab for me, ordered the wrong one, told me they ordered the right one. I ended up ordering the right one myself as I was growing tired of the disappointments time after time. My car is a limited edition model, its numbered, and I was expecting a top quality repair. My insurance adjuster only put my damages at half of what GCW estimated me, but I chose GCW because I was under the assumption I would be receiving quality workmanship. In the end, I would probably not recommend them as I am not 100% satisfied with their work. Granted they did do some type of repair thats why this is not a 1 star review, they did do some kind of work, just not work anybody would or could call quality workmanship. Its embarrassing to me when I take my car to places and people point out the flaws that weren't fixed correctly. Hopefully GCW has improved the quality of work coming out of there for any subsequent clients.

After dropping off my car I was told it should be ready in the next 6 possibly longer, I had no idea longer meant 3 weeks. It is going on 2 1/2 weeks and I have not had my vehicle. Between a poor insurance rep and extremely unprofessional body shop my 6 day wait has turned into 16 days and I still don't have my car. I would recommend no one have your car fixed here unless you are willing to wait a month. Why tell your customers day or times it should be ready without know completely it will be? Twice we have been given false pickup times and I am beyond pissed I have never posted a negative review before but I miss my car so much and every day I feel like I'm never getting it back.

Horrible experience!! Car was there almost eight weeks for minor damage. Warranty work was required and the Body Shop Tech. came out of shop and used threatening and abusive language to the customer. BEWARE...Definitely try some other shop in town!

These guys are awesome. They custom painted vintage trailer for me years ago and did a great job. It needed a little bit of work years later and they made repairs, no charge, no questions asked. Incredible customer service!

I'm fairly new in town, got in an accident, and Golden Coach Works was recommended to me by a local business owner. I'd like to ask what else that owner can recommend just so I make sure to avoid EVERYTHING they suggest.
Golden Coach Works told me I'd have my truck done on a Friday. 18 DAYS after that Friday I finally was able to pick it up. Not hold it an extra night or a weekend, but almost three weeks...all while promising 'not today, just a little while longer' multiple times.
If any of that sounds reasonable to you, or if, say, you hate your car and really like rental cars, you are in luck--this is the body shop for you.
I get that stuff happens, maybe they were backed up with work and didn't have capacity, but each excuse and delay and apology was followed by Golden Coach NOT actually calling me to tell me if they were finally done, which meant that--based on my cell records--I called them over a dozen times in that period to figure out whether they had lied to me again or if I was finally going to be able to pick up my truck. I was forced to cancel a planned vacation to Moab at the last minute and make multiple allowances based on the total lack of faith I had in any new delivery estimate they gave me. On one occasion and after multiple assurances I ordered an Uber and was 30 minutes from their shop when I decided to call *again* only to find *again* that because of one thing or another they were going to have to hold it over the weekend... which became 4 days. Why didn't they just call or text to tell me this in advance so I could plan accordingly?!
Only bright spot was that it became a running joke in the office what had *actually* happened to my truck, as in, 'Maybe rather than fix it they decided to rebuild the whole thing from scratch and got lost bringing the iron ore down from the mountains to smelt and turn into toyota.'
Finally they were done (no complaints about the work itself) and when I went to pick the truck up I noticed two separate places where a part was missing or damaged and not replaced--including the front license plate, which I have nothing to attach to or with--and Golden Coach Works assured me they would get right back to me with info to pick up the two parts and get them on the car.
As of this writing it has been two weeks, still no phone call, email, letter in the mail, brick through the window with a note attached...nothing.
...And I'd call, but let's face it, will they make an excuse and then expect me to believe them when they tell me to go ahead and come in tomorrow?

Amy and Jana (and the rest of the team) are wonderful!! They were both very helpful and explained everything that was being done to repair my car thoroughly. I had other estimates on damage repair costs and this place was the best priced. They went above and beyond what any other shop would ever do. I was very pleased with the repairs and now my car looks brand new! I now have my favorite shop. I HIGHLY recommend Golden Coach Works.

I had them replace the rear bumper on my van because I was rear ended about 2 months ago when the conditions were extremely slippery. There was a delay in getting the part so I had to rent a car 2 more days. Jana said she would pay for the 2 extra days but later changed her tune and said she would only pay for 1 extra day. The delay turned into another month (meanwhile I took the van out of the shop to drive).
When the bumper was installed, it looked good but it was not exactly the right bumper because it did not have the holes to snap the step-pad back in place. She should have told me about this when she got the bumper (they and other shops often obtain used parts and I knew it would be a used part). Another customer was complaining to me that she had to pay for 5 days car rental because GCW did not get her part in on time either.
Early on, I asked Jana to touch up a small rust patch on the wheel well and give me a little left over paint for touch up. She said she would throw these in free. When I came to pick up the car, she still had not done it so I asked her to. She quickly brushed on some paint and it was so sloppy it looked better with the rust spot. She then tried to make me pay $50 for the "touch up" I stood up to her and she took that charge off but still made me pay $20 for the little plastic cup of extra paint.
When I arrived, I also saw a guy pouring antifreeze into my over-fill bottle. I never even told them to do anything under the hood (they are a body shop). But he told me my coolant was 2 quarts low. I freaked out because I had just had a lot of break work done and thought I had more expensive problems to deal with. I took it back to the mechanic shop and they pressure tested the cooling system. They said it was OK and thet Golden Coach Works topped off the overfill bottle when it was cold; you are supposed to check it when it is hot. So he removed some excess antifreeze.
I confronted Jana and all she would do is refund $7 for the antifreeze she had no business pouring in in the first place. I used the $7 to buy some laquer thinner to remove the paint she slopped on the wheel well. I will fix it right with spot putty and sanding before I paint it, which Jana was unwilling to do.
What is more, the rear door hits on the plastic bumper. This interferes with the ability to open the door by keeping pressure on the latch. The bumper is bolted on a little too high; if you push down on it, the latch opens just fine. I demonstrated this to them. They claim the door is "bowed" and has further damage from the collision but it opened OK before I had them replace the bumper.
I told them all they have to do is loosen 4 nuts and adjust the bumper position down 1/4 inch so the door does not jam against it. They refused, claiming that they can't and that is not the problem. Rather, they wanted to charge $250 more to fix it.
They then made it sound like they already gave me free $200 extra labor by fixing up the used bumper they ordered in for me. Why would they buy a piece of junk? And if they had to fix it up, they are not doing me an extra favor because the bumper should have been in reasonable condition in the first place.
I will probably have to fix it myself though I shouldn't have to.
Get EVERYTHING in writing from this place!

This is the place I will always take my car to get serviced and fixed. I was in an accident just recently and I took my car to GCE and the customer service was fantastic. Not to mention they detailed my car so when I got it back it looked better than it did before. And they topped off all .y fluids to male sure I was good to go in the engine area.
