My Fianc and I had a little car trouble about 30 miles outside of Grants. We were traveling from NY to AZ with our 100 lbs mutt. AAA set us up with a towing company who personally knew Sam from C&S. It was nearly 7 on Saturday night and we pretty much figured that we'd be stuck in Grants until Monday. much to our surprise Sam opened up for us. He was incredibly kind and he explained everything that happened to our power steering so that we knew we could trust him. His prices were very reasonable and you could tell he had no interest in ripping us off. We were back on our way that same night! I don't think we could have been any luckier. Sam is a hardworking and honest guy! I only wish we lived in NM so he could be my regular mechanic! IF YOU'RE HAVING CAR PROBLEMS GO TO SAM!

C&S auto repair in grants New Mexico .If you break down I would not recommend this place.I broke down Wednesday, March 30 and I am still sitting in the motel room April 7 the owner (Sam Lowe )Took my $700 down payment said he would get right on my car .I walked over from the motel on Sunday still nothing had been done ,walked over Monday crying not knowing what to do I'm 900 miles away from home .Sam assured me he would have my car done he was just waiting on the head shop and was going to get them .I came back Wednesday he was in bed at 11:45 am ,knocked and knocked on his RV finally got him up .Said he was going to Albuquerque to get my parts, so I waited six hours he went to Albuquerque came back and went straight to his RV so I rented a motel again . I was back this morning April 7 ask him if he had any idea how long it would be ,he told me it was a six hour job he couldn't tell me how long it would be , really he said it was a six hour job (a little after nine )you would think it would be ready today. No not in this shop six hours means three days if you are lucky.Checked on it at about 6.30 they were working on it but not done. Here it is April 8 he still will not answer his phone ,going to walk there again today I am here now he said still waiting on parts? I am home now still no car still waiting on parts. Really this is something I cannot believe even though my car is a BMW. Just in my opinion I don't think it takes three weeks to order parts I called him Friday he insisted they still wasn't man and that he would call me when they got in as of now he still hasn't called. Update here it is over a month later he won't call won't answer the phone sent the police over the car is there but he still says he's waiting on parts go figure
