I went this place to check my transmission issue and they were very nice and polite. No waiting for inspection in 15 minutes they told me what I need and no pressure. I left that day and go back two weeks after and they fixed the car same price as they promise at first time . I like no surprises! it was a good experience.

These guys are awesome! I'm always a little leery trying out a new mechanic. I wasn't even sure I wanted to repair the tranny on my 2000 Honda Odyssey. So, I got several quotes and referrals and did some of my own research. These guys had really good online reviews and quoted me a really good price. They were 25% or more less than any other estimates I received. So, I took my car to them for the transmission work needed. It's one thing to pick a new mechanic. It's quite another to go pay the bill. I had been in contact with this location a few times and they never mentioned any increase except for repairing a broken front axle piece for $85 or something reasonable. Today, when I went in to pick up my car the price quoted plus the add is exactly what was charged. For a car I was about to junk due to the cost others wanted for repairing to having a good working car again, I'm totally stoked and very satisfied. These guys were honest with me and did a great job. Thanks Warner Transmission!!! You guys are great!!

If you need transmission work done (or any car work really), I would recommend going here definitely. Previously, I have not been using them for all of my car work, but after my most recent transmission problem, I have decided to use Warner Trans. exclusively. They have great service, are honest, and reasonably priced. George is very helpful, always give you straight forward answer.

I brought my e46 BMW to Warner Trans. for a preventative rebuild after thoroughly researching other transmission shops in the area. The price was more than competitive from the others but what set them apart was dealing with the owner. No BS, no runaround, I told him what I needed done and he gave me a price right there without the whole "let me get the car up on the rack and see what you need" routine. The labor was timely and the guys did a fantastic job, I will be bringing my other vehicles to Warner Transmission without question. Thanks guys!

It's great to find an honest and reliable mechanic. My GMC van was making a clunking noise when it shifted. I took it to George and he figured out the problem and the cost was very reasonable. He gave me a lot of info on the problem and called before doing the repair. I would recommend him highly. They tow my car free and it was very convenient and saved my AAA for another time..

Willy was awesome. My regular mechanic was out of town and I really don't like shopping around for new mechanics.
Willy listened to what I needed, gave me a MORE than fair price estimate over the phone and looked the vehicle over to make sure there wasn't anything else wrong.

Willy! My man (sarcasm).
Took my car to the local Nissan dealership who told me I had 30% left on my brake pads, then went to willy who told me I had 10% left on the back (and about the same on the front, per willy), which I declined. Let's just do the oil change.
I ended up buying the parts from orielly and enlisted the help of my friend who had the tools - how hard can the work be? Save money?
After removing the pads and comparing to the brand new parts, turns out I had barely any wear on them, 90% in front/80% in back, roughly.
Willy showed me the pads too supposedly from my car (lie) and then tightened the lug nuts on my car so tight the air compressor powered tools had trouble getting them off. Suspicious?
My GF loved this guy and reco'd him years ago. Willy! What do u do to regain customers? Do u care? Do u read these? Was that $10 dirty air filter even from my car? $380 for pads I didn't need? Times are tough, but dude, did u think I wasn't going to find out? Part of the game?
What a cliche: shady mechanic tactics. Would love to support local business. Lots of great Yelp reviews. Clueless customers? Man, I'm bummed, thanks for nothing.

Since I moved to HB in January my 2 vehicles have decided to need new of practically EVERYTHING. I was skeptical of who to trust because I know that some mechanics charge outrageous labor fees. I tried out Willy's to replace brakes on my jeep. He was super nice and casual to talk to and actually broke down the price of how he charges. He was cheaper than 2 people I had previously called for a quote as well. He is a very skilled and thorough mechanic. He ensures he has the best parts for everything before he puts them in your car. He even took the time to make sure the new sensor he put in the jeep was the most updated one from manufacture and did the research for me. So! If you need a trustworthy mechanic Willy is your guy!

I came in for a oil change and Mike noticed that I had a bad oil leak so willy got on the phone and the dealer said no parts available to repair need to replace the pump $500 for the part. Willy said that is unacceptable and called his parts guy and foound the gasket for $8.00 that needs to be replaced and promised it to be done same day. Awesome service and honest I will always take my vehicles there from now on. Thank you Willy.

I will be coming here from now on. I was recommended this place by a couple friends after I needed my front and rear brakes replaced. I had been getting my oil changes at the dealership and they quoted me such a ridiculous amount. I was saving up for the work, but I could hear my rotors starting to go so it was time.
Initially over the phone Willy said that he didn't have time until next week, and when I expressed a little urgency, he told me to bring it in at 7am the next morning and it would be done by 2 that day. I brought it in, and what he quoted me to replace the front rotors and front and rear brake pads was far less than what the dealership quoted me just for the rear brakes. He was able to save my rear rotors, but for his prices, I wouldn't have even minded if the rears needed replacing also.
On top of being super happy with the work done, he finished my car by 10:30am and I was able to get on with the rest of my day without needing a rental car. I was very happy about that.
Super honest and hard working shop. This was the most hassle free repair experience I've ever had.

Another visit to Willy for him to fix my car. Absolutely outstanding! For close to five years, my car had trouble when I tried to fill the gas tank. It would click off after a few seconds. It's turned off happen occasionally and eventually happened 99% of the time.
My Honda mechanic wanted to replace my entire fuel system for $1600. Willy went over and above figuring out what was wrong, replacing it piece by piece. And for less than $200 I can now fill my tank without a problem! Willy is a really good guy and I'm just blessed to have found him!

My car broke down in San Diego. I towed the car to a nearby mechanic who quoted me just shy of a thousand dollars to replace the alternator and related parts, parts and labor included.
Then I called Willy, who was my mechanic when I lived in Orange County, and told him I was going to send him my car. I towed the car again, from the crooked SD mechanic, to Willy in Huntington Beach--my premier AAA membership allows you to tow a car anywhere within 100 miles.
The other mechanic told me that he recommended that I replace my car's lever pulley assembly, when Willy said it simply needed to be adjusted. I saved $500 thanks to Willy .
The reason why you will pay less with Willy is because he will charge you fair market value for parts and labor for necessary repairs, and he will not include unnecessary repairs.
Go straight to Willy with any car problems that you have. Do not waste your time with the first tow, like I did, because Willy will always be the more trustworthy and competent mechanic.

I'm lucky my car broke down close to Willy's shop. Half way home from the airport my alternator died. Willy diagnosed the problem, called atleast 5 part suppliers looking for a fair price on a good part (not the most expensive and not something cheap and unreliable- he knew the difference), installed it, and charged my battery all in the matter of about 2 hours.
Integrity in any business is the most important quality to have and Willy exemplifies the word.
My only regret is that his shop isn't closer to my home in San Clemente. Thanks, Willy!

Willy is old school great guy,I was having a bad day then it got worse yep car broke down.I found Willy on yelp .Willy had great reviews so had triple a tow car there.I told Willy that I was broke and needed to keep costs to a minimum.Willy called me and said come on down.When it came to the bill he said NO CHARGE.It was a brown fuse simple fix.Well simple for a life saver like Willy.I can't say enough what a great guy.
The fuse blew because of a bad power window moter then he told me how to fix it myself that way I could save more money.

This was the worst car mechanic that I have ever been to. I normally don't write reviews but this experience really upset me. I took my girlfriends car in for a standard oil change and tire rotation. I get a call at work and Willy tells me that he found that the air filter and spark plugs needed to be replaced. The car had about 80k on it and thought it may be a little early but due to being a commuter car in traffic I gave him the green light. After I picked the car up and got some gas, I noticed that the oil dipstick housing was broken. I called him up and he told me he forgot to tell me that his guy found it that way. I didn't believe him but he told me that he could order the part and fix it for charge of the part. He told me that he would call me when it comes in. A few days go by and still no call so I call him and he told me it came in but he forgot to call. Later after he fixed it, I needed further info about the car which they typically write in the log so I call him and he couldn't give me the info because he was driving and he said he would call back but never did so I had to call again once more. Such a pain for such an easy job!

Had to get my front brakes done. So I bought the parts myself planning to do the work myself. Long story short I didn't have a place to work on it at. So I called around to four places local to here. Not only did this place beat the quotes for the work , they did it the same day I called and my car was done fast and correctly. Great service. The other places I called were rated good on yelp but they wants over 80 more to do the same work! Lol I got respect for this shop. They won't try to screw you they are honest, hard working shop. I have an old car, but still runs relatively well. One day, it wouldn't run when idling. I called Willy since he is close by and got really good reviews....which I can say are spot on. He immediately knew what was wrong when describing my issue over the phone. He gave me a quote and be fixed it the next day. It's been about a week and in would say it's been fixed without issue.
I also had a few other things I wanted him to look at, which he did. He gave me estimates without any presage to fix and told me to bring it back if I ever wanted to get those things taken care of.
I used to take my car to another great mechanic, but he wasn't as local. Glad I found this place. Keep up the great job Willy.

The alternator on my car has caught on fire, we had it towed to this place after my father in law checked it out for us and noticed willy treating another customer really nice.
Had the car towed at 830 in the morning and it was finished by 3 o'clock. Willy was really nice and mentioned something else I might consider fixing in my car that no one else ever bothered to tell me about or mention what the problem was.
This car breaks on me about 3 times a year, it has always made a loud noise while driving it and not one mechanic has see said "you know that loud rattling noise you hear while driving?" But he did, he explained what it was and said it wasn't a big deal big that he could fix it if I ever needed him to. I've always thought it was just my broken window.
To replace the whole alternator in my ford focus zx3 with labor was 400, diagnostic 45. We budgeted for 500.
I would definitely come here again with any car I have.

Well, Willy does it again! My husband and I have been a customer of Willys for years now, and he's been the ONLY person we trust with both our vehicles. His service is fast, friendly, honest, and worry-free. Usually, going to an auto repair is fraught with worry that the person will charge you for every little thing...and on top of that, make up a bunch of problems that you never had in the first place. Not with Willy! You KNOW that he's going to be totally honest with you...and if something IS wrong, he'll charge an extremely fair price for excellent work. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Willy has vast knowledge of all kinds of cars so it helps whenever I need a new part or even a simple oil change, he will help me get it fixed. They went through the dash of my jeep to fix my air conditioning from the inside whereas most mechanics would turn down a difficult job like that, they took on the challenge and completed it successfully and I went from having no a.c. due to the internal issue to having a wonderful icy a.c. It helped me a lot during the summer. I would especially recommend them for air conditioning work as they have proven in the past that they go above and beyond to repair that.

Willy is AWESOME!! I found him randomly when I needed to have my breaks done that day before a last minute Vegas Trip. I called several people at 3pm on a Friday and Willy was the only one who said he would stay late until they were done (and I was a never customer at that point). Willy used all factory products on my car and offered me an awesome deal! The place I had gone before Willy charged me $50.00 more than he had.
He is always quick, friendly, and above all, does a top notch job. He is also honest, when I went to him and told him my check engine light was on, he did a diagnostic and told me that it was something minor but that it was expensive to fix, so he said just wait until next time I need something done and he'll do it then, to save me some labor money.
Willy really values his customers and sends out a Christmas card to them every Christmas. He also has offered to take me home several times if my car is gonna be longer than an hour. I try to just take the bus or have one of my friends pick me up, so that he doesn't have to spare a guy to take me home, but he does offer and I have taken him up a couple times.
I have been going to Willy for about 5 years now and he is such an awesome guy! Go to him, you won't be sorry!!

I love my mechanic! I am constantly referring people to him because of the great job he does. He is so honest. I went to him when I had a check engine light on and he ran some tests. He told me what the problem was and that I should take it to the dealer because my warranty would cover that issue. He was right and saved me hundreds of dollars. I still am grateful to him for that. You really can't find honest people like Willy anymore. Go see Willy and I promise you he won't rip you off like some other mechanics.
