Tony did a great job with my 2005 BMW! I had quite a bit of work for Tony to do. I wanted the the front, middle and back column replaced; center console repaired and headliner replaced.
It was no small task but I was satisfied and very pleased with the job that Tony and his crew did to make my car look great again. He did his best in matching the leather color of the center console, so much so that you can barely tell it wasn't from the manufacturer.
The center console ended up being replaced instead of repaired due to the wear and tear damage. The new center console required sewing a few pieces of leather together to fit the shape of the console and it showed off Tony's skill and knowledge working with car upholstery.
His pricing as was competitive since I had gotten quotes from other places, his crew was friendly and I was given a quote the same day. I brought the car over the next day and was promised it would be done by the afternoon. When I went to pick it up, the crew was just finishing up some last minute touch up.
I have a Camry that has a driver seat that needs some repair and I plan to bring it to Valencia Auto Upholstery to have it fixed. Nothing says satisfaction like a repeat customer!
Overall, I had a good experience price wise and was satisfied with the results. I'm glad I found Valencia on Yelp and wouldn't hesitate recommending them to other Yelpers!

Tony did a great job recovering a worn leather bolster on my '05 Honda s2000.
He matched the leather perfectly. You can't tell where the repair was made.

Had a pin pop out of my door handle which caused for the door not to open by the outside handle. I didn't know what to do. I looked up Valencia's upholstery and he was able to see me that day. He took the door panel apart saw the problem and fixed it right then and their. I couldn't of been more amazed on how he stopped what he was doing to fix my Lexus.
I highly recommend Tony to anyone who has any issues with their upholstery.

My Lexus RX had a fabric tear on the side of the driver seat, which is a common wear and tear sight for an aging vehicle. While I was making a number of cosmetic improvements to my SUV, I decided it was time to eliminate the fabric tear.
I searched Yelp for some potential places to obtain a cost estimate. When I went to Valencia Auto Upholstery on 27th Street off of Santa Clara Street, I was greeted by Tony who provided a reasonable quote. By talking to Tony, I was comfortable and felt assured that my Lexus would be in good hands.
The following Saturday I took my Lexus to Valencia Auto Upholstery and within a few hours, Tony completed the job. Wow, Tony did such a nice and professional job. If you want a quality end product, go see Tony. It's rare event when one has to reupholstery a car seat but I now know where to take my cars for any upholstery issues. I have already recommended Tony to a office colleague and my barber.

I needed to replace a sagging headliner in my 2007 Mazda 6. Tony gave the lowest quote over the phone and based on the great Yelp reviews I decided to give his shop a try.
I brought the car by his shop about 10:30 on a Thursday morning. He said he had similar material in stock and brought out several samples for me to look at and helped me pick out the best one. He said he could do it right away if I wanted to leave the car, so I did.
I picked up the car at 6 that evening and the headliner looked great. I was chatting a bit with Tony afterwards and he told me he was second generation in the upholstery business. He said his dad had taught him that every car you do, you do the work like it is your own car.
That lesson really shows in his workmanship and the way he takes care of his customers. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to my friends.

I'm writing this review as I go...
I dropped in to Valencia after a frustrating attempt at another upholstery shop. Tony spent a good 30 minutes with me trying to match the exact leather color as I only wanted the bottom of the seats upholstered. There are actually two leathers, the external and the internal which is perforated. He spent all this time before even talking about price or me even committing to using his services. I thought he had it matched well, then he called over his other employee and he chimed in with his opinion.
Then the price. A very fair price compared to some calls I was making. He does not use pre-made covers. He sews the leather together on his own to get the best match of color and fit.
He told me that it would take 1 1/2 days. I dropped the car off today a day early as it was more convenient for me. He happily took it and I'm waiting to see the outcome. So far he gave me a five star experience. I could not ask for anything more.
Well, there was a small snag when he went to put the passenger seat back in. One of the electrical connectors broke (the airbag). This is not his fault as the car is 10 years old and wires are brittle. However, I went to pick it up to find this out. A quick call could have saved me a trip.
He found a friend who had my car, looked at the wiring on that one, and then reconnected mine. A day late, but all went back together.
There was a scrape on the plastic of at the floor where you get in the car that was clearly made by the removal of the seat. Kind of a deep gouge. It could have been avoided by a thick mat laid over the edge as they removed and added the seats.
The leather on the seats looks perfect thought. The quality and match was excellent.
I'm only dinging one star for the lack of calls to save me a trip when a problem arose and for the scratch in the plastic. Otherwise I'm very happy with their work!

Wow! I am so glad that I chose Valencia Auto Upholstery to have my leather seat repaired. I had just bought a new used Acura RL and wanted to repair the front passenger seat that the previous owner somehow destroyed. Tony was very approachable and knowledgeable about what should be done to repair the seat without having to re upholster the entire seat thus saving me $$. He color matched the leather to the exact color and quoted me a fair price for the work. He was even willing to work around my busy schedule to have it done in a fast and timely manner. When I picked up my car I was more than impressed with the results. Tony made the whole process quick easy and stress free. I may even have him do all my seats now since the quality and workmanship was so good!

I've finally decided (after 20 months) to write my rendition about Valencia AKA Tony. I own several cars, restore and show. Good thing I waited or this would be scathing. Yes, I'm a weird girl and a total anomaly with automotive hobby.
I've had so many shop experiences in the bay area (30 years now), given I won't wrench on my own cars anymore, nor should I (I work full-time and like my hands/nails clean and in-tact). I own several cars and love each and every one of them. This is exactly why I pay the big bucks and expect to be respected and receive decent quality work and communication. Am I particular, yes, but not over the top nor difficult. I'm very easy to work with but I do expect updates, a returned call/text and timeline met, within reason. I too was up-sold on the brand new non-leather, "20 yr factory warranty" top of the line Pleather. The material texture and color that Tony touted matched well with my door panels hence I opted to only redo my front bench and rear seat of my 1970 T-Bird. I had released the seats to Tony (unbolted via my car driveway) 10 days prior to a pending show "plenty of time" I was assured by Tony. With this, I thought we could possibly sneak in my pre-cut carpet kit as well. Long story longer, Tony was 3 days late delivering and we had no time left for carpeting. I was so desperate for my missing seats to be returned I didn't care. Low and behold, less than 14 hrs before the show, Tony and company arrived with my finished product. Whew... The quality of the stitching was decent and he did exactly what I asked for-- I provided a photo. Looked great.
What was disappointing was the odd nuance of this material's behavior. It shows every smudge from a single touch. It's also very difficult to clean. Just a straight up bummer and very very odd. My 45 year old door panels don't smudge and are very easy to clean. I asked myself, What does Tony's 1 year warranty cover? and what does the 20 yr manufacturer warranty hold up to? Obviously smoke and mirrors. I've yet to get resolution after numerous times waiting for Tony to view this defective material. I essentially sent him a final text after the 5th blow off appointment "you're fired". No response and hasn't done anything since to get back into my graces. It's been roughly 20 months. Within 3 months of the the job, my front seat has popped a spring. It's bulging out of the passenger side and no one even sits in my car--but me. Wishing Valencia much success as I've redone 3 more cars since and will never support this local again. Glad to see this outfit is finally on the social media circuit and reads.

Tony took great care of my 2001 BMW driver seat that's splitting from the seam. I went in expecting to buy new leather for a complete re-upholstery. Instead, he suggested to try sew it back as he took the time to remove the cover. The end results is 100% satisfaction!! I was so excited that I didn't have to pour more money into a 14 year old daily car. Thank you Tony. I will be back for other jobs soon.
**The other shop I went before came out with a fishing hook and did a poor job hand stitching the seam which split after a few days.

I brought my year 2000 BMW 328CI here to repair my drivers seat. My leather was torn on the bottom and on the side of the seat. I also had burnt gel on my head rest. Tony did a wonderful job changing the leather in my car! The color is exactly the same and the work is perfect! I came on New Years Eve to drop off my car and got it back on January 2nd! He also cleaned the sides of my doors for no extra charge! Tony's shop is definitely the best auto upholstery shop in San Jose. Superior service! Tony was so pleasant and easy to work with! I brought in my Infiniti M35 to have the driver seat repaired in order to sell it. Tony provided me a quote with pictures sent via text and actually honored in it person!!! No playing games after you get there. My wife's Lexus LX470 passenger seat was torn up and duct taped (her doing, not mine). The week before I had a guy come and repair the driver seat and he did a good job. But the other seat was beyond repair. So I found Tony's shop on Yelp. A tiny looking place from the street. He looked at the seat, and gave me a price to reupholster the seat (not back) that was exactly what I paid for the repair! He said he could do it the same day. He removed the seat and around 6 pm he put the newly upholstered seat in. And a great job he did. Obviously, I recommend Tony without reserve.

I have a VIP'ed out IS250 (show car status) and needed to take it over the top with a custom suede headliner. I did not know of any upholstery shops until another friend named Tony referred me to this guy. A few phone calls and a couple of days later, my baby became show-ready. Tony and his crew are a highly qualified team who know exactly what they are doing. We even ran into a small hiccup along the way which resulted in a ceiling handle clip being lost. This caused a small delay, however, Tony even took the initiative in calling Lexus to order a new handle in-case he could not locate the original clip. A few days later, he located the clip and everything was fine. As for the quality of his work, exceptional. There are no gaps in my headliner and the minor adjustments that needed to be taken care of were dealt with, without me having to bring to their attention. As a result, I was a bit skeptical at first because I had not been to this shop, but Tony was extremely polite and gave me a price from which I could not turn back. His confidence allowed me to give him a chance, and the work he did... Well damn, now I got a shop for all my or my friends interior mods.

First of all i must say : GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE :D
I have a 2010 Nissan Altima in mint condition, My boyfriend had car issues so of course he asked if he can use my car . i let him use it to go to work and when he brought it back there was a huge burn mark on my leather seat from him smoking a darn cigarette in my car :( i was so upset and new i had to get it fixed immediately. so the very next day i started to shop around for estimates and of course very pricey and some said they couldn't guarantee they could match the leather! so i looked Online and found valencia's i called and spoke to tony, i explained my concern about the matching and he told me to come down to take a look at it, when i came he was very nice and very professional and gave me a GREAT estimate price so i felt comfortable with him doing the work. it came out AMAZING and he even gave me a great deal on a detail job. so yes i would defiantly recommend this shop for good customer service and great prices & good work!

I have BMW Z4 with sport package that comes with sport seats. Too much lumbar support on the seat was killing my back. I took it to Valencia auto upholstrey and Tony gave me a very reasonable estimate to fix the problem. They removed the seat and with my suggestion they stretched and tye-wrapped the peice of methal that psuhed agains lumbar to the base of the chair. Now I can drive the car for hours without getting exhausted. The job was done very professionally at a resanable price and they are very nice people (three brothers).
Next I will take my other car to them that has even less comfortable seats.

I had a tear on driver's seat of my '07 Mercedes E350 that needed a fix before it got worse. Tony gave me an estimate that day, and fit me in on Saturday morning for the job. He replaced a seat panel, matching the grain and color perfectly. Stitching was nicely done as well. I'm picky about my car, and I was impressed all around. I could not write a better review about this place! Found it off the internet, read the reviews and decided to give it a shot. I had a minor upholsery detail I'd been wanting to take care of for a long time but knowing absolutely nothing about car repair or prices I had been skeptical to go anywhere. I show up and Tony greets me and after a short explanation of what I needed not only did he give me a great deal but he offered to do it on the spot, install it and even helped me with other minor details in my car. Very, very, very, very happy with the work performed by Valencia! My dog punctured the leather passenger seat of my Solara a few years ago, and over time, the small rip had turned into a big tear (and a big eye-sore)!
