Im sure that Jack has done great work in the past and i like Jack himself as he was trying his best to pick up the pieces that his tech left behind. I went in with a check engine light on and they quoted me $400 for an EGR replacement. I took it home and "replaced" the EGR myself. Upon inspection of the EGR i found that the vacuum lines were all cracked and falling apart. So i took it back to him and pointed this out and asked him to replace them. He did. Low and behold my fault code was gone and it only cost me $100 for a couple pieces of vacuum line. He charged me $100 to "diagnose" the code. He called a bunch of times after that and was trying to ask if everything was good but i didnt feel it necessary to keep communication up with this garage that had tried to pull one over on me without even checking the lines. Im sure Jack is a stand up Tech and knows his stuff but I wouldnt trust the younger tech that he has working for him.

Duy and the team here are awesome! I just moved to the area and was recommended here by a friend. I'm so happy that he recommended them.
They replaced the catalytic converter on my car quickly and efficiently and helped to make sure that I passed the smog test. He also explained to me the process and how the paperwork would be forwarded on to the DMV.

Duy and Duc took great care of me and my car, a 1998 Mercedes SL500.
I called in the morning, requesting a quote for a smog check, and Duy gave me the price of 41.00 to which 8.75 would be added if my car passed the inspection. This price was roughly 30 less expensive than what Sayed from Autobest quoted me, mumbling about why it was more expensive because my car was an older car when I told him that the person who referred me said he could do it for much less. Obviously I did NOT go there.
Duy said he could take me at 2. I arrived on time - needing to leave by 3 for an appt. - and he assured me the car would be ready to go no later than 2:35.
After the inspection - which my car passed, hooray! - Duc went over the results and explained what I would need to do in the event the DMV didn't receive the paperwork.
Both gentlemen were very kind and courteous and polite and professional. I will definitely be returning in the future and will be recommending them to anyone looking for a honest mechanic.

Went in for a smog check & oil change. DUC is the friendliest mechanic I've met. On the phone & in person. I've been to so many different places for oil change before & they're either not friendly or overly friendly to the point where u know they're bs-ing trying to get u to do other services that u know is not needed. From my interaction with Duc, I can tell he's honest. He even went through what I needed done with my car & exactly what charging me for & why. What they're allowed to charge only even if they take longer. Meaning they can't jack up my price just cuz they "take longer". He explained the reason why they would wanna keep my car longer is cuz they wanna test it out in with different temperatures the car is in to make sure it's running smoothly. I think I finally found a trustworthy mechanic!

The yelp hours say that they close at 5:30 however the door at this location states that they close at 6PM.
Needless to say, I was very satisfied with my experience here. I came after work at 5:15 and was helped with friendly service. I needed a quick smog check to be sent to the DMV. They took in my car and I was in and out in no time.
Pricing was in my range too! If you mention yelp you get the smog check for $21.75!! Then with the certificate thats required, the total came out to be $30! Amazing deal.

Great Customer Service!
Duc was very thorough, professional and friendly! Went in for a smog check and he went through all the paperworks with me to make sure I knew what was going on. He was really informative too, taking his time to discuss with me what was needed to be done, such as the pricings/fees prior to the smog check. I definitely appreciated that he made sure I had all the paperworks to give to the DMV and told me what to look for & keep, thank you! Im fairly new to the area and have been looking for a good shop that could give me fair and reliable service for my vechicle. I usually pass by this place on my way around town and have recognized that this plaza is always busy. In my eyes, that means good service. So i yelped this place and felt it was worth a try after comparing to the surrounding shops across the OC. I brought my dream car in to get service and by the time i received my car back from service, i knew i had found my next goto shop! I went early around 8:30am saturday and met Duy and then Duc. They both were very knowledgeable about the services and repairs offered in the indusrty. Im taking the time to write this review because i was truely treated with 5 star vehicle & customer service. I feel like i understand enough to not get fooled on smog services, so i went in feeling 90% of the chances of my smog results being what i thought they would be; and at the end i was 100% right. So with that and the honest respectful customer service as mentioned in most of these other yelp reviews, i was really statisfied with the service Duc did on my vehicle. Duy shared some good advice about maintenance in cars, i can tell both these guys and i have a mutual understanding that you get what you pay for and it pays to maintain your vechicle; if you care about it that is. If you keep up with your vehicle's lifetime maintenance, your vehicle will last a long time; how its designed to. Check this place out if youre looking for a good quality shop in the area! REMEMBER: try to get an understanding of how your car operates and functions so you know what to expect.

Found this place while getting my car washed. AAA was closed, so I used them great customer service by Duy, and the price is great. They have been in business for over 25 years. Now, lets just hope my 2003 tacoma passes smog

I had a check engine light on and ended up needing an O2 sensor and a catalytic converter. The price I was charged was significantly lower than the dealer's quote. Duy walked me through the whole process, explained everything, and showed me what the OBDII scanner was reading on my vehicle. Duy is friendly, polite and offers 5 star customer service. After replacing the the sensor and the cat I needed a smog check which I passed. All is well and I'm good for another 2 years.

Great place, Duy was very professional and the whole process took less than 30 minutes! The yelp check in discounts $8.25 which covers the certificate fee, so it all came up to an even $30.

My old car failed the smog check recently and my friend recommended me to come here and get it fixed. I was very skeptical at first because not only I was low on budget, I also have zero knowledge on how car engines function and such. However, coming here I felt that everyone was very nice and genuine. They understood my situation and thoroughly explained to me the problems as well as showing me alternate ways to deal with it. So far my car has been running smoothly and I will definitely come back here whenever there's a problem. I recommend everyone to come here and give this place a try!

Why can I say about these guys... I've been going with them for all my automotive needs and they always go far and beyond my expectations. Getting a great price is good, excellent work is good, great work ethics and honesty to the customer is awesome, but when you get all of these traits from a business, you've found a place you can trust and depend on.
