This is an honest to goodness family owned business. They have been serving my family's cars for years and have always been honest and fair about their work and pricing. I have never had any issues with them, and they can work with anyone's schedule. The other review about a loose oil cap was wrong, because by car does a similar thing. Sometimes, the manufacture puts the drain plug (where oil is let out from the engine) in a car in an area that can gather oil. No matter how much you try, it will still drip a little. Trust me, I used to change my own oil until I found Shorewood Lube, and ever since I have used them.

My family has been going to shorewood lube for over 20 years. They are always welcoming to us, asking how our family is, ect. Their work is top notch, always have my car back same day, and a very fair price, never once have we had to return a vehicle for the same problem. Our family is very comfortable with their services, we would not even consider buying another car unless Mark looks at it and gives us an ok! Very honest, and very reliable, we recommend them to all our family and friends. Thanks Shorewood Lube keep up the great work!

Began with Mark and Dana and their "little ones" years ago in their small shop. Always great service and commitment. Through the years have seen them hire different mechanics/service people. Am always amazed how conscientious and considerate they always are. Says something about Mark and Dana. No question is too trivial. We need to support more "local" owners like them.

5 stars not just because my parents are the best ever (yes this is a maybe slightly biased opinion), but also as a customer satisfied with the quality. Dad treats every vehicle like his kids would be driving it. I know because I worked there for some time. A short testament to their quality- I followed Shorewood Lube's preventative maintenance advice on an '05 F150 with 100,000 miles I purchased two years ago before a big move. Since then I've driven from Illinois to California to Texas to Illinois back to Texas and the only thing I've had to do is basic maintenance/patch a tire. I didn't realize how spoiled I was until I tried to find honest dependable auto shops elsewhere. I just wish they weren't 878 miles away!

Mark and his crew are very honest tells it like it is. He will make a referral to another specialty shop if he thinks it is warranted. He stands behind his work. He checked out a problem for me and upon him checking, found that the repair would be covered under the manufacturer's powertrain warranty. He drove it to a nearby dealer himself to get the work done for free and charged me NOTHING for his time. You don't find many honest people like that anymore. I highly recommend this shop.

I am new in town and a co-worker recommended Shorewood Lube & Service to me. As it turns out, the problem I was having with my car was minor, and it was diagnosed and repaired quickly and at a very fair price.
I asked Mark if he could give my car a tune up as long as it was in the shop, and he told me that a tune up would start at $700.00 and wasn't really needed. I was so pleasantly surprised that he had my best interests in mind as opposed to his.
I would not hesitate to go back or to refer family and friends to Shorewood Lube!

THANKS MARK~~~~~I hope everyone that reads this will go to Mark's shop with any problems. He will tell you honestly everything and he stands by his work. He has treated us like family and that means a lot considering I have had bad luck with car repairs in the past. For the last several years I have been a loyal customer and feel safe when I need something. Words cannot truly express how I feel about Mark and all of his employees, Mark ALWAYS takes time out to speak with me even now, we recenty moved out of state and I still call and he still answers. He gives me advice on what to do and I NEVER doubt what he says he has NEVER been wrong to us nor has he ever done anything outside of EXCEPTIONAL service. There were things he did that he didnt tell us about to ensure our cars are safe and in good working oder. Thank you Mark, I will forever miss showing up and saying "what happen was" and you just laugh and say I'll take care of it!

Very honest, great service, and reasonably priced. I broke down near their shop 20 miles from home. They were able to get the parts and get me running within an hour. They did not try to upsell me on anything or tell me something was wrong that wasn't. I highly recommend them!
