I called the shop to see how much he would charge me to put on the part i bought for my car? He told me that he wouldn't charge me nothing to put the part on, he said it's just 4 screws that holds it on. That shocked me so I took it there and he also put my filter in that I purchased at auto zone. For nothing. And the part I wanted to replace was just dirty and he told me that he could clean it for me and I could take the part back to auto zone and get my 90 bucks back. He also told me that if for some reason the light comes back on bring it back and he would put it on for free! I can read people really well and this auto shop is honest caring, trustworthy, the owner has Morales, and is not out to make a quick buck. In just the short time I was there I saw the owner help more people on a personal note and I like this company I would recommend this auto repair shop to everyone. If you want a good (honest company) working on you vehicles bring it here. Rose Williams

I definitely will pay Howard a visit for any future needs. He is aces in our book.I was out to eat with my family and when I went to pay the bill, I was told it was payed for already. Howard didnt even know us, but took care of our dinner without even hesitating or expecting a thank you. No one had ever done that for us before. We asked to meet him to say thank you, and luckily we got to before we left. No kind deed should go unrewarded, so we wanted to commend him for his kindness. Thanks again. Sandy and Joe

B&H Auto are Excellent and I use them! Some shops are billing 100/hr. and paying 20/hr., so you should consider a good independent shop and avoid getting reamed by the book prices for work - go with honest mechanics and know the guy personally who works on your vehicles! It is also wise to educate yourself about issues on your car or truck.

After going to two other shops and being told I needed a new A/C compressor or belt tensioner pulley/ new belt both shops went right to the A/C compressor to replace. I was not having any problems with my A/C cooling, the only problem I was having every time I turned the A/C on, it would make a loud squeal. So I called B&H Auto; spoke with Howard. He told me to bring it first over first thing next morning, which I did. He immediately checked the belt tensioner pulley and it was wobbling. He held it in position with some type of long tool and the squeal went away. (The other two shops did not do this) Problem solved needed a belt tensioner pulley and belt. I did not need an A/C Compressor at this time. He saved me hundreds of dollars! Highly recommend this place for auto repair service! Thank you!!!

My father takes his car to this shop and when I needed an exhaust manifold replaced, I figured it wouldn't hurt to price check. Big-O tires was quoting me $750 just for the part itself. See the difference between B&H and places like Big-O is that while B&H does have a warranty on the parts and labor, Big-O is a nationwide chain with a nationwide warranty so has to use brand new parts and cannot use pick-n-pull parts. So Howard found my exhaust manifold at a much more fair price and did the installation. I've since taken my Cadillac back to him a few more times for retro fitting my AC as well as passing emissions with a new EGR valve and catalytic converter. This place only does what you absolutely need or what you request, and keeps in touch with you to keep you updated. As long as I live close enough, my car will be repaired at B&H Auto. Thanks Howard!

Great Shop. These guys are always fair and very nice. One of the local Parts stores recommended them. They always have business for a reason. They get right to it- quick turn around- and try their best to do things affordably. They are not afraid to work on older vehicles either- they don't shy away from them, they will help you out. They are patient with you if you are in a bind and hang in there with you to get it done. And really, their prices are very hard to beat for the high level of work they provide. They have gone lengths so save me money. Just personable, real people, not scammers, and it is so nice to have a local, non-franchise shop you can trust. Highly recommended.

These bad reviews are bunk. These guys are great- just look at the Google reviews. They have gone out of their way to save me money. Heck, I thought they'd be mad at me, my car sat there so long while I tried to get money out of another shop for work done improperly. But they hung in there with me and did great work at a great price. They have given me great prices and excellent service ever since. Very friendly, local guys that know what they are doing, perform their work in a timely fashion, and do it for a very fair price. Also, this is a working class, blue collar shop whose focus is doing good work for good prices. If you want a fancy waiting room, you are going to be paying for that. You can go to a franchise or a high overhead shop and pay for their waiting room, advertising, etc. Their focus here is getting your vehicle fixed properly for the lowest price possible and they are good at this. That is why they are popular in AJ, their lot is always full of cars, and their overflow lot is full of cars- even though they have quick turn around on service. If you know something about working on vehicles, when you talk to them, you can tell they know their craft, that they are straight shooters, and that their prices are as low as you are going to find from a shop. Every business is going to have some encounters with customers that don't go exactly as they would hope. But if you are looking for a shop run buy some honest people that take pride in what they do, are good at it, and treat your fairly, look no further. This is the place.

B&H Auto does not know air conditioning. They replaced the wrong part. After my last experience with the owner flipping out on me and verbally abusing me; My air, you guessed it, 2 weeks after B&H supposedly repaired it, my air conditioning stopped working again. Go figure. So I took it to the dealership and found out they replaced the wrong part. Do I get a refund? Then, I told the dealership what the owner did to me at B&H, they were not surprised. Shady bunch over there they said. I'm trying to not let this experience keep me from continuing to support my local businesses. B&H not only took advantage of me, the owner verbally abused me for questioning their service in a private conversation with my out of state mechanic. Keep listening in on your customers private phone calls while your under the hood Rufus. FYI, I'm allowed to question the services I pay for after giving you 3 tries to do the job. I wrote a review on YP but the owner had it deleted...don't be fooled by the shining 5 star ratings on Yellow Pages. All the negative ones get deleted by the owner Howard. I know this because I contacted YP to inquire where my post went and why it wasn't there on their site any longer. Again, no surprise B&H.
