Famiily own and operated business. i started going there with my mgb 1978...which needed work...They looked the car over...said what's wrong...and why not fix the car in stages...starting with the items that had to get fixed= HONEST ! I have sent my friends to the shop too- as they do work on all types of cars- not just imports... Great place and people too !

I have an Audi and used to take my car to the dealership in Santa Rosa until it closed. Also wanted to find something closer to home. At the time I was a single girl, in between jobs, and the greatest fear was getting charged too much without fixing the issues and not knowing any wiser until stranded on the side of the road!
I called around to a few places and ended up taking it to Scott (the owner). I was very concerned about how I was going to pay for everything. So, he explained carefully and clearly which things must to happen right away and why - as well as things I needed to budget for in the next six months or year.
Now, I've been taking my car to Scott now for about five or six years and still absolutely love them!! They have always been kind and fair and fix the issues right the first time.
My car is starting to get a lot of miles on it, and I went through a period where I seemed like I was coming in every few weeks! I asked if my car was just falling apart and perhaps if I needed to think about buying something else? No, he explained, just the mileage on the car meant that it was time to take care of some key areas - but now that they were addressed I shouldn't have more problems for a while... Sure enough! For the next year or two the only time I brought it in was for a routine oil change.
I honest can't recommend them highly enough. Scott, you and your team are awesome! Thanks for taking such great care of your customers!!

Was in Napa for a short visit when the car sent notification that we needed coolant. We called and spoke to Victor and he happily refilled the coolant tank and made sure the tires had proper air pressure!! Thankful for the great service we received!!

No they aren't the cheapest mechanics around, but they are honest and will fix it right. When my regular mechanic cant figure it out, (which has happened on multiple occasions) I will drive (or tow) the 50 miles to take it here.
They work on all kinds of cars, from ford to Lamborghini. They do a lot of work for local winemakers and their exotic cars, The owner builds his own race car for the SCCA circuit. I would rate their knowledge of engines as first rate.
For simple things i might go to a local mechanic close to me, but when its a bigger problem that needs to be fixed correctly, I go here.
Most recently my 94 toyota truck would not smog, and my local mechanic tried all sorts of things and o2 sensors and wanted to replace the catalytic converter, but its was a new cat not even 2-3k miles on it. Scott took it and first thing he did was adjust the timing and valves. Passed like a champ.

Imports unlimited was quick to rotate and replace my tires! I called them in the morning and the new tires were on and rotated by 5 p.m. I like to get things done at the spur of the moment and Imports Unlimited helped me achieve this. I would recommend them to anyone in the Napa, CA area.

My daughter found a used car with both a clean interior and exterior. We brought it to Imports Unlimited for a $100 pre-purchase inspection. We expected to h ave a couple of things here and there on the car that we should be aware of, but they found a litany of things that only a trained mechanic can find. It saved her from a $4000 mistake. I appreciated their honest, thorough approach, and will be back.

I called and talked to the owner about the problem of my Miata overheating...while driving on the freeway 80...I turned it on ..and within a few minutes the car was getting Hotter! He said to bring it in and he'd look at and ...fix it....I dropped the car off on Wednesday at 4 and picked up the car on Thursday after work...the problem was a faulty fan... Service and price for work is great! Really , feel like I can trust my mechanic ! I would recommend to friends!!!!

Fantastic. Mike and Scott were terrifically helpful, solving a loose distributor in my old Jaguar that was causing the engine to backfire. The next day, with the engine running smoothly, I got 25 miles out and had a fuel supply issue I suspect is old gunk in my fuel line. No trouble at all, Scott and the team have taken in my car again.
Their service is excellent, their pricing is very reasonable and their passion for old cars is contagious!!!
I'd recommend them to anyone.

This place is a rip-off! While having a repair done, they found one of my belts to be worn out and told me it needed to be replaced. They told me it would cost $400 in labor and parts to replace a simple belt. I told them no thanks, and had my my father replace the belt in about 3 minutes and the belt cost about 10 bucks. After trying to rip me off of $400, I will NEVER take my car here again!
