OK. I am so impressed with the level of service I received last week that I had to share with anyone looking for best auto body work with personal attention to clients. I absolutely had to have the job done by close of business on Friday which was earlier than estimated. Mel Mendez, the owner, realized the scope of my predicament and immediately went into action actually going into after hours while his crew was shutting the shop down and personally completed the dent repair and paint job. The final result was absolutely perfect with no flaws whatsoever. I would have to take a guess that no other auto body shop would care so much. Quality work with a quality owner. I thought they were great, having worked on my car twice, then I went to the new location. First, they took 2 days to gwt back to me amd said they had ordered the parts without asking me first. It took the othwr shop roughly 15min to price out parts for me. They wanted to charge me over $1100, but knocked it down to $1000 and told me I needed a new rim for $350 and a $125 alignment amongst other things. Make sure you get everything written on the estimate. I sent my friend here because of my past experiences having body work done. She was told it was ready and when she went to pick her car up it wasn't ready, they didn't do the door handle as was on the estimate. Also she had been told other areas would be painted, they weren't and they wanted more money to do it. Her fault, don't trust anyone, get it in writing. Not recommending to anyone again.

Mel and his employees did a fantastic job on my 2013 Honda Civic. I dropped off my car on a Monday and not even 30 mins gone by that my car was already taken and started being worked on. When I went to pick up my car a day early than what Mel had originally told me it was like I was picking it up for the first time like I did when I bought the car. Highly recommended so highly that I won't even look at other bodyshops.

My friend recommended The Body Works for the repair of my Jeep after it was involved in a collision. Mel and his team were great. The replacement parts were genuine and the paint job on the bumpers matches exactly the complex color of the body of the Jeep. I would highly recommend Mel for your car repair.

Not only did they go above and beyond, but Mel himself took the time to go over each detail of the car. He's a true master of his trade! I will always trust Mel with all my car's bodywork needs. He is really thorough, cares immensely about his customers and the quality of his work, and is very clear and communicative about what needs to be done and how much it will cost. The sunroof fixes he did for my problematic Jetta wagon have held firm through 3 stormy summers now. He is the real deal and we're fortunate to have his business in our neighborhood.

You can't beat the service here.
I've never had to deal with an auto body repair before. Most of my friends haven't either, so I didn't really know where to look. I'm one of those people that do not know the first thing about cars, so I feel like I can be scammed easily. I ended up googling body shops and I found this place.
When I went to get a free estimate, there were two people waiting on their cars. While the three of us waited together the other two started telling me how great this place is and how honest Mel, the owner, is. This was completely unprompted. They just wanted me to know about their experience (and one of them had a lot of experience) with this place and that I wouldn't find a better shop to service my car. When Mel gave me the estimate, he encouraged me to look around if I was unsure about the price. He always does things the right way, not the cheap way. I decided not to fix my car right away and left.
Two months later I finally decided that I needed my passenger door to open. If you live a reasonable distance, they will have someone drive you home and pick you up. That is a great service they provide. The people who drive you are super nice too. Really chatty, friendly people so you don't feel uncomfortable.
It took half a day less than expected! That was a great surprise. When I got there it looked as good as new. Jeanette was even able to direct me to Ace down the road where I could get the battery in my key changed. I never thought to go there and now I can automatically lock and unlock my car (which I haven't been able to do in a couple of years).
Just don't forget to bring cash. They do not accept credit/debit or personal checks. For some reason that adds to the small business feel of this place.
So if you are new to the area or nobody can recommend you a good auto body repair store, then go to this one. You'll be glad that you did.

If you are looking for quality, honest, and a fair price then this is the right place for you. From the moment I walked in I was taken care of. Mel and his team provided me with a repair estimate that was almost 30% less than another body shop I went to for an estimate. It was a painless process from beginning to end and they completed the work when they said they would. I even had them repair an additional spot on my car after I initially went in. They completed that AND gave me an incredible full detail job at no charge. My car looks like new again thanks to Mel and his team! I can't say enough good things about this body shop. I would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat!

My beautiful BMW was recently rear-ended because a woman dropped her lipstick while driving, and as she went to pick it up, BAM! She smacked my rear good! I asked her to show me the lipstick, and when I saw it I replied, "That color is really horrible, I would have dropped it too." She laughed and smiled, and as my neck started hurting, and I got the worst headache ever, I asked her for all information, took some photos, and then called 1-800-my-lawyer-is-going-to-screw-you-good. Anyway, I love this shop! My car looks brand new.

Amazing! I called to get some information about repairing the sunroof in my Lexus and the lady who answers the phone is super nice and informative. I was able to go in the next day. Mel, the owner, greeted me and was very helpful and wanted to see what was needed for the repair. This is the 2nd time that we had met as I came in last year with a question. Very honest establishment. The owner called me back and my car was fixed and ready the same day. Excellent pricing. Highly highly recommended.

Well, I have to say I was bummed that I had to use this service, no one ever wants to have to take their vehicle to a body shop for repairs. Well due to some jack wagon I had the opportunity to experience the wonderful services of Body works. If there was a 10 star rating Bodyworks definitely deserves it. I had to have my bumper repainted and thought I would also get a detail. Talk about attention to detail and integrity. First off the cost was well below other estimates I received. So that was a plus. I was highly impressed as Mel as an eye for any flaws and corrected them before releasing my truck. I have to say my vehicle looks better after they detailed it compared to when I first bought it. I will definitely be taking my truck back there for future details.

I don't have enough words in my repertoire to describe how awesome the service here was. I brought my car in this morning to fix the driver's side mirror under an extreme time crunch as I'm headed out of town in the morning. Not only did Mel call around to find a place that could get him the mirror today, but he also stayed an hour and a half after closing time so I could pick up my car. Incredible service that I have not found anywhere else, in any other industry, in the state of Florida. Highly recommend!!!

One of the best body shops in the entire world! I got in a hit and run accident and had a rental car. I needed to return the rental in less then 24 hours for catch my flight! The owner Mel and his wife Jamie went above and beyond on to fix the car before my flight. The car looks better than before it's absolutely amazing what he could do in such a short time!
