We are on vacation in Sedona and our Jeep Liberty developed a Wheel bearing noise. We took it to another shop in town earlier in the week and they could not determine which one it was so we just kept driving it. Now it's Wednesday morning and we're leaving Thursday morning to head back to PA and I was reluctant to drive that far with it. We stopped in to see Bill and his crew and they worked us into their already busy schedule, gave us a ride back and forth to our resort, found the problem, went out of their way to get the part, got it done in a timely manner at a very reasonable price. Our car broke down and even though the shop had closed they were willing to take a look at our car. They were exceedingly helpful and gave us a very fair price for the services we needed. My husband & I were in Sedona for the week & we ran into some mechanical problem with our van on a weekend (most of the shops were closed). With the help of Yelp, we read the comments & felt comfortably went with Red Rock Auto & Cycle. We called & the person who answered the phone was very helpful & told us to bring it & they will take a look. When we got there, Bill Raper, the owner & the person who answered the phone previously accommodated us. Nate his mechanic test drove our vehicle & fixed the main problem, did the maintenance check up knowing we will be traveling in the next couple weeks. We felt that Bill Raper is good honest to goodness business man & cared enough for our safety too. We felt good & satisfied with their service, we highly recommend this auto shop to anyone in need of quality & honest service. Thank you Red Rock Auto & Cycle! Coffee was very good too!

The starter on our 31-year-old RV went when we were traveling through the area. I called and they gave me a estimate and got me right in. I snapped a wheel stud on my wrangler along a trail in Sedona. I was unable to repair it myself as it was an aftermarket axle shaft and required some specialty tools to remove and replace. I saw the great reviews of Red Rock Auto and gave them a call. It took a day and a half to get it done but is reasonable considering it took some creativity by the staff to get the project finished. The cost was under $80 which shocked me because most shops won't charge less than $150 just for their time and space. Every employee that I came in contact with including mechanics greeted me and asked how I was doing. Very positive vibe and great customer service. They also service their local law enforcement patrol cars so that should tell you something about they quality work and integrity.

Amazing customer service! Bill is a class act!!
Hit a deer on my way to Sedona at night and wanted to have my car checked out to see if I can drive it back to Vegas. Found Red Rock on Yelp and took it in for a look see. Bill and his crew took a look at its condition and decided it is unsafe to drive it 200 miles back as the hood may fly open on the freeway. Bill called a local body shop which repairs high end cars and later took me there himself. All that without charging me a penny! BTW his auto and bike shop looks amazing!

First day of vacation my Ford Excursion developed problems with the spark plugs. I was nearby Red Rock Auto & Cycle so ended up there. Bill, Earl, and Nate were awesome! We went to Arizona for a memorial service for a family member. We had just purchased a new vehicle from Justus Motors in Aurora, Colorado, the day before our trip. While it's not always advisable to do this, in this instance we didn't have much of a choice. On our drive down from the Denver area to Cottonwood, Arizona, we started to notice an issue while turning at higher speeds, it was making a humming noise, and you could feel the vibration through the car. By the time we got to Arizona, we knew we needed to at least speak to someone about it. I had done a bit of research online and everything seemed to point towards there being an issue with the wheel bearings. We couldn't find many shops in the local area that were going to be open on Saturday, but found Red Rock Auto & Cycle was. After reading their reviews on Yelp, we figured we had nothing to loose.
We were right. I called and left a message Friday night, and before the shop even opened for the day, the owner, Bill Raper, called and asked me a few questions about what was going on. He wondered if we'd be able to make it up there as soon as we possibly could so he could test drive it to see what was going on. We made it not too long afterwards, and when he returned from the test drive he confirmed our suspicions. He offered to get us in and out in 4 hours. WHO DOES THAT?!? On a Saturday? We were extremely grateful to Bill, and he saved our trip. I can't express enough gratitude for what Bill was able to do for us.
If you're in the area and need work done, see Bill first. If you're local and have never heard of or have never been to Red Rock Auto & Cycle, give them a shot!

I've taken my Harley in twice for service (oil change & install new rear tire) and felt service was excellent (mechanic Nate is excellent) and rate competitive. They brought to my attention other fixes I should be looking at, but no high pressure. Very customer service oriented and professional. Would recommend to anyone looking for bike repair.

TRIP-SAVERS.
Pure and simple, Bill and the guys at Red Rock have their priorities straight. We were on a small summer weekend trip and our AC failed. It was a Saturday and we went there hoping to get taken care of quickly. Not only were they able to diagnose right on the spot, but they worked to get the parts there early Monday so we were up and running Monday afternoon. They also helped us with rental car options as we had a river trip scheduled for Monday that was already paid for. They mentioned they like to get tourists like us squared away as soon as possible as it's "good for business"

Check engine light came on as we are driving from Phoenix to Sedona, and we got that nervous sense of panic when you aren't sure if your engine is going to explode. We drove on to Sedona and saw that this place was open on Sundays. We stopped in, and he checked with his computer, and determined that it was no big deal.very helpful, convenient, and nice. The reassurance was worth every penny.

Drove into town from Los Angeles around 3pm after having a bit of car trouble on the road. Stopped by this place as it was down the street from our Hotel (Best Western Inn). Earl said to go check in to the Hotel and come see him the morning 8:00am (no charge to look our car over). Turns out we needed front rotors turned and possibly breaks replaced. We were expecting to get gouged since we were so far way from home and vulnerable. Farther from the truth...Earl took care of us and had us ready to go by 10:30am. Car ran great for the rest of our stay in Sedona and for our return drive to So. Cal. Thanks to Earl and the Guys at Red Rock Auto & Cycle for treating us with respect and taking care of us all the way with taking $$ advantage of the fact that we were obviously tourists in a jam.

I had these guys install the anchoring bolts for a light weight slide in truck camper onto my Tacoma. After realizing I brought them the wrong front anchor mount, they put time and thought into improvising a frame mounted sway bar with what they had in the shop. Deciding it wasn't sufficient enough to secure the camper, they still found a way to temporarily, and safely secure the front anchors to the frame of my truck so I could drive back to California with peace of mind. The breaks of my minivan failed Friday evening while I was on road trip vacation. Red Rock Auto was recommended to me because they are open on Saturdays. I got to the shop at a little after 5pm on Friday. They close at 5pm but they still let me drop off my minivan and even ordered the needed parts. When all the parts were not delivered, they send someone to a neighboring town to pick up one of the needed parts. They put several guys on the job so that my minivan would be fixed by Saturday evening so I could be on the road by Sunday. The owner, Bill, kept me updated and did a great job at a fair price. I would say that I would use him again but what are the chances that I will breakdown in Sedona again? Probably extremely rare since I live in Los Angeles. Even knowing that I probably would not be a repeat customer, he and his team went above and beyond to help me and my friends get back on the road quickly and safely. I really appreciate that. So Bill if you are reading this, I am the person whose hub cap melted due to my calipers malfunctioning. Thank you.

My Subaru Outback's check engine light, brake light, cruise control, and other lights came on and were flashing. I stopped at a tire discount store in Sedona who referred me to Red Rock Auto to have it checked out. I called Bill after closing time and he said to bring the car in at 9 am. Within minutes after arriving his mechanic found out the problem and had me on my way. He was very nice, helpful, and fair priced.

Bill was a HUGE help and saved my Valentine's weekend! My car broke down at around 4pm on a Saturday and he was the ONLY shop in town that was open. By the time my car was towed to his shop it was after hours but he stayed late called around and located the part I needed. Next morning he came in on his day off and finished the install then PICKED ME UP from my hotel and brought me to his shop, the price was very fair and the work was done right. I cannot think of a better customer service experience I have had with any industry especially automotive. Bill was great on the phone and generous with his time. I highly recommend Red Rock Auto & Cycle to anyone in Sedona whether local or just visiting Bill will get you out of a pinch and do it in a way that is as pain free as possible.

Our aid conditioner shut down on us on our way to Sedona. We didn't know what to do because this was only the beginning of our road trip. We found reviews on yelp for Red Rock and decided to give them a try. They were able to help us out the day we arrived and saved our trip. We can't say enough about this establishment. I was initially a little scared of this place. It sells biker jackets and fixes bikes in addition to cars. I had been driving on a dirt road which was very muddy and bumpy and I had a wild and scary shimmy that was getting worse. On a Saturday I called this place and Bill agreed to look at it right away. . I actually come down to Sedona because I'm a doctor on call and I was very nervous about not having my car to respond to the hospital's needs. I was very sure that this would be a repair that cost hundreds of dollars. He took my car out and was away from the shop for 20 minutes which made me really wonder what was going on. When it came back all the mud was gone and he hopped out saying "you're good to go." I hardly believed it. He asked for 20 bucks to cover his time and the car wash that cleaned off huge clods of dirt in the tires that was making them wobble. I agree with a previous reviewer. I wish I lived in Sedona so that he could be my mechanic. He's the kind of mechanic you always want but rarely find.

Bill rocks! In Sedona from the valley and my bike died. 730 on a Friday night. Bill showed up in 20 minutes and got me running. He deserved at least triple what he charged me. Just wish I lived closer, I'd have him do all my work.
