I am a student at UA and usually work on my own car, but if I have something that I don't know how to fix or don't have time due to classes or work, I take it to Mike. He does quality work and makes sure its done right. I have recommended him to friends in Tuscaloosa and even family that lives two hours away. I've never had a problem with anything that I've taken to him, and have heard no complaints from the people I've recommended to him. Mike and his staff are friendly and know what they are doing. As for price, I compared the cost of work he's done for me to those of other garages and even dealerships, and Mike usually beats their prices. As for the sign in the office, I don't see how that's any worse that "Trust the Midas touch." If you've got a problem with your car, I recommend Mike's Auto Repair.

BEWARE... Mike's Auto Repair and especially the owner Mike is a LIAR and tricks students with car issues to come to his shop for repairs. My experience there was a nightmare and I will never ever take my vehicle back. I do not recommend anyone to bring their car there for repairs and I'm telling friends and especially those at UA as we speak to pass the word. This guy only has two repairmen working that doesn't speak the proper English and probably the lowest paid which is why they do a horrible job on your vehicle. I came to get a clutch repaired come to find out I needed a new transmission which I paid for upfront but the repairs took over a month to finish. He lied about the entire process and never contacted me once to discuss the wait time after being told that my car will Be finished in a week's time. After the transmission and clutch was finished he proceeded to tell me my car is overheating because of an cooling fan which was a lie because it never overheated until he took possession of it. After being told from Mike that my cooling fan didn't work which he said was causing the overheating I went ahead and purchased that as well .. Come to find out that wasn't the issue and the idiot tells me that HE SPOKE WITH THE BMW DEALERSHIP AND THEY HAVE TO PROGRAM A COOLING FAN...... REALLY??? Program a cooling fan??? What an idiot.....I then knew something was suspicious I then called the BMW dealership and come to find out he continuously lied about contacting BMW and speaking with their service men about my car after speaking with their general manager... IF YOU ARE A REPUTABLE KNOWLEDGEABLE SHOP YOU WOULDNT NEED TO CONSULT WITH A DIFFERENT REPAIR SHOP TO FIND OUT THE PROBLEM.. These guys are the most IGNORANT LOW CLASS BIRD BRAIN PEOPLE I HAVE EVER MET. Long story short I had to call the cops to get my vehicle and unecessary labor charges taken off because this piece of crap said out his own mouth I do not know how to fix your vehicle... Do us all a favor and Please CLOSE THIS SHOP and let your two prisoners (repairmen) free because YOU HAVE TO HAVE THE PROPER EDUCATION AND AUTO REPAIR KNOWLEDGE TO ACTUALLY RUN A SHOP but by the looks of the people and the service EDUCATION DEFINITELY WENT LACKING!!!!!!!!! BEWARE!

This shop is under new ownership. It is now Mike's Auto, LLC. We are in the process of changing the name on all of the advertisements. We are not affiliated with Foreign Car Repair. We have been an auto repair shop for many years we have just moved to a bigger better location.

this business was flagged by the better business bureau. Mr. Boothe is a fraud and a scammer. He stole $3,000 and refused to return the money or help. He said to stop contacting him or he would call the cops for harassment. In the end, he is being served with his business red flagged. DO NOT EVER use his company now that it was passed down to him from his trustworthy grandfather who passed away

Recently on my way home to Texas from Atlanta i encountered these guys because of a little car trouble I was having. Unfortunately they where not able to help fix my car per parts where not available for a lotus elise within a 300 mile plus radius. But they where very hospitable and friendly especially since I was 9hours plus away from home. Thanks again
