The owners of this business sold us a van on eBay and listed it as "van has been maintained and is in good working order. 135,531 miles Good running vehicle." He did tell us he knew the cruise control did not work and would pay us for repairs. However, the first week we got it we had to replace the air conditioner, a rear axle, and a brake line that was rusted out. After shelling out $3,000 we couldn't afford to get the cruise control fixed. He said more than once he would refund us $860 and we never received a penny from him and broke off communication with us.
