I have taken my vehicles to Chuck's Auto Service for over twelve years and have always been treated with great customer service and the highest of professionalism. They have always been fair with their prices and they do take pictures and send them via email to show you what is wrong. I have recommended this place to many of my friends and no one has gone away unhappy. I do know that Chuck's Auto service takes pride in their work and spends countless hours expanding their knowledge by taking classes to know all the latest and greatest that has been added to cars features. I would reccomend them any day of the week.

I've taken my car here a few times. The first time was to fix my air/heat vents that wouldn't blow air. I took it to the dealership first for a diagnosis and a quote. After they told me it it would be $600 to fix I left without getting it repaired. I was told about chucks and I gave them a shot. They took my car, told me what they were going to fix and the price ($200) and asked me if that was okay before they just dove in and then charged me. They kept me updated on the progress. Since then I've been back a few times and I've never ever left there angry. Very happy customer. And you dont get to say that very often about a service station.

**BEWARE**DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME**Extremely Rude Staff!! Owner flat out told me, "I'm done with Augustana College Student's... I'm tired of rich spoiled kids from Chicago!" The worst customer service ever experienced! I needed a radiator for my vehicle and he gave me an estimate to which I simply asked general questions about the repair; price, parts and labor! Nothing out of the ordinary so I thought! And the owner completely lost it and told me to take my car somewhere else! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Doug you haven't heard the end of me I will make sure I let the people of Rock Island know how you treat customers!

Our grandson had some major issues with his vehicle while attending Augustana. He told us there was a place close by but they had received a bad review regarding Augustana students. Due to proximity, we encouraged him to call Chuck's knowing that everyone gets some bad reviews. This is to let anyone else know WHAT AWESOME SERVICE CHUCK'S GAVE TO OUR GRANDSON WHO IS AN AUGUSTANA STUDENT!! From the girl at the front desk who took his initial call, to the towing service they arranged, to the fair and professional service they rendered we couldn't have been more pleased. They communicated in a clear, professional and friendly manner. KUDOS to Chuck and his staff!!! Sincerely, Grateful Grandparents

In late December my daughter was home from college and needed some car repairs. We contacted Chucks and they got her car in the next day to look at it. The transmission lines had begun to crack and they needed replacing. They did the work and her car was ready the next day. The service was excellent and everyone was friendly! Thank you for taking care of my daughter.

My experiences with Doug at Chuck's have always been very good. He and his staff are very responsive to whatever mechanical needs I may have. I have been going to Chuck's for years. Before my Mother passed away she went to Chuck's for her mechanical needs also. Doug treated her as if she was his own Mother. I have referred others to Chuck's and they have all been very satisfied. Chuck's service is great and the prices are fair.

I had a flat tire in December and went into this shop because Bells auto service treated me well a few years ago. However Bells was bought out by Chucks auto service two years ago. Since I was a girl, I felt like I was being taken advantage of. My tire had to be replaced due to a huge hole and Chucks was going to charge me $175 for one tire. I knew I could get two tires for that price at discount tires. So I did not get a tire at Chucks. In addition I asked if they could put on the spare and they charged me $20 to do so. This in my opinion was an overcharge since they already took the bad tire off! The most disappointing thing is that I have an all-wheel drive vehicle of which all 4 tires need to be changed if one is changed or at a minimum 2 new tires on the same axel. This information lead me to draw the conclusion that the people running this place did not know what they were doing as far as tires and took advantage of me by charging me $20 to put the spare on. Discount tires in Davenport, IA charged me $81 dollars per tire and gave me the 4th tire free. All 4 tires including installation and taxes totaled to $348. Go to discount tires, they have better customer service too.
