I went to get my oil change on June 17, 2013 because they were running a special. They have someone holding a sign up and down highway 45 to bring in business. When I arrived, the people were very nice. I guess because they needed the business. The specials were $14.90 for basic, $19.90 for full service, and $24.90 for something. I got the full service and in the process the mechanic called me outside to tell me about my air filter. He told me mine was bad and it needed to be replace and he had a new one in his hand that they had gotten oil on it. He wanted to replace mines with that and said it will be $24.90. He did not tell me that it cost $24.90 along with the oil change. I am assuming that it was for everything. I told him yes and he bring a piece of paper in their for me to sign. I get ready to pay my bill and I am assuming it is $24.90 in all and the lady at the front never told me my total because I wouldn't have let her swipe my card. She hands me the receipt and my total is $51.77. I looked at her and said what did you charge me for and she was confused and ask what did I get. I said a full service oil change and she looked at the paper and said I got a filter. I said the filter was not that high that is when she proceeded to tell me that the filter cost $24.90 along with the oil change. I said no I am not paying $24.90 for an air filter when I can go to Walmart and get it for $7.00. You can take that out my car cause it had dirt on it anyway. She said you sign for it and I responded I don't care it was not explain to me like that and if you told me my total I wouldn't have paid that. She went to get the manager and he said that since I used a credit he couldn't refund my money and lady at the front desk keep saying I signed for it. I got ugly and started using profanity because that was not explain to me like that and if like I told him I never would have paid that much for an air filter. I left out the place upset and never signed my receipt, so for audit purpose I know they need a sign receipt and mines was never signed. I feel like to pass their audit someone forged my signature. They get over on women by making necessary assumptions on what you need and don't provide the correct information to their clients. They misquote themselves and the lady at the front desk joins in on them ripping women off. I will not go back and I recommend anyone don't get fooled by the oil change special. I usually get my oil change in West Point and I paid cheaper for a full service oil change and filter than I did there.
