Jose gave me an estimated time of 3 days to have a major inspection and maintenance work done and a quote and he got it done in 2 days and charged me what was quoted without having to replace or fix this and that extra like most places would do.

Jose, you really have some nerve replying to my review. You and I both know what you did. You charged me for a job you never did. You told me you had put a new bumper on my car even though you really didn't. You gave every excuse in the book and it looks like you're going to continue to deny your wrong doing. It's ok. You know you are wrong. You know you're a scam artist. And I've received multiple messages from other customers who feel the same way. And also from people who have decided not to use your business after reading my review. That's enough for me. Eventually your greedy and scheming ways will catch up to you. Also, my bumper still wasn't fixed after the last time you "fixed it" but I took it to a REAL mechanic and I haven't had any problems with it since then! I thought of coming back to ask for my money back but the thought of having to deal with you for a FOURTH time isn't worth any amount of money.

This place is a fraud and rip off. They had a big sign outside for oil and filter change for $15.99. Once I went it they have a board where they listed the same price ie $15.99 for oil change. The lady told me to fill the paper work and that I did. Then I asked her about the wait she told me 45 mins so I sit in there. After 20 mins a guy from the shop came and said they will charge $30 for the oil change. I told him that they have listed it for $15.99 at two places and th lady has also told me the same price but to my astonishment he said that price does not include labor and filter and is only listed to attract customers. After that he said it will take another 60 mins if I agree on the price. What a shameless people at this place. Wish yelp has a zero rating.

I have 3 cars that are maintained by Jose. I am so glad that having a mechanic that I can trust is so important to me. My wife , my daughter brings their cars to Jose and he makes sure these cars are maintained and safe to drive. So if anyone needs a great mechanic, go with him.

My car broke down LATE NIGHT on my way back home to LA. needing desperate/immediate service I called around with no luck ( no one willing to take a look at my car after hours). I dialed out one last auto/tow listing, Salazar came to my rescue! Tow truck got to me within the hour, Jose checked it out immediately and we found the problem (Loose hose). I was stranded on the side of freeway at 9pm and by midnight I was back on the road home to La.
I really appreciate Salazar opening up shop to help me out. I made it to my finals the next day

Updating my review for the new location. I'll add some pictures today :)
When I first moved here, I was terrified to be leaving my dealer (Park Place Lexus) and have to deal with the rather horrible dealers I've heard about out here.
Give it a few months, and my battery dies. So off to yelp to find someone I can trust to take care of it. On a Saturday... at 6PM. After reading through a few pages of reviews for towing services, I just happen to run across Jose's listing for his towing company. You have your usual spread of liars and happy customers, lots of regular 4/5 star reviews, and the random 1 stars. Looks good, so I give him a call. On Saturday, at 6pm.
I have a friend to pickup on Monday and the copper terminal is completely corroded. Firestone? Lexus (of Steven's Creek)? Autozone? Pep-Boys? Nope, none of them can fix it. What's this, Jose just happens to have a repair shop. Oh, and they'll stay until 8PM, 4 hours after closing, to fix it? You got a loyal customer, bud.
Jose's legit. He has a good service team and takes care of his regulars. I get all my major services done here and recommend him heartily to anyone in the area.

These guys are great -I got a flat tire - I called the company Towing Services (they are terrible and I would not call them again- they quoted me one price on the phone and charged me a different price). Salazar Automotive came out. Ernie was fantastic. He assessed my car, towed it, got me a new tire and had it installed. This place has excellent service. They made a crappy situation bearable.

Salazar automotive did a transmission rebuild for me in April that cost almost $4,000, and took over a month to complete, not to mention that the car magically gained another 1000 miles. Now, 8 months and only 6000 miles later, the transmission is failing again and it is going to cost me another $3,300 to have it fixed again. It's awfully convenient for Salazar that the warranty they gave me was only six months long. The place I'm going to now, AAMCO, is going to charge less money to do another rebuild and give me a 3 year 100,000 mile warranty. The guys at AAMCO are unsure whether or not it was just shoddy work or the rebuild was never actually done. Save yourself a ton of money and stress, don't go to Salazar automotive for anything.
