Great mechanics! Very honest and trustworthy. Not going to "sell" you anything you don't need. I've been bringing my cars here for service for the past 10 years or so and am always very pleased with the service and how clean the shop is. The owner, Tal, is always there and runs the shop in a very professional manner. We have never been disappointed with their service. Great business!

I came here for a nys inspection and Bob at Tals tried to swindle me for new breaks even when my brakes had another 10k miles left. I already had previously done a manufacturers inspection prior to buying this car and had no issues with brakes. Beware of these guys!

My family and I have gone to Tal's for as long as I can remember. Tal and Bob are always very warm and accommodating and look out for our best interest. My family and I trust Tal's completely and have always been thrilled with the service. I just finished a cross country road trip, and of course, took my car into Tal's before I left. They got everything up and running and I made it safe and sound with no issues. I was able to drive confidently on the road knowing that I had the best take care of my car. Big thanks to Tal and Bob!

If you do not know about cars beware! Before purchasing my current 2002 Honda I took it to Tal's for a bumper to number check up. I was told everything was good and that I would need $300 worth of work routine repairs done, but not right away, possibly in a few months. I said ok and purchased the car and negotiated the $300 off the price. Then I take my car in a few months later and to my surprise the bill is $1,300. I paid it because I trusted them. Now, a few months later I take my car in for inspection and it "fails." Then they tell me a list of work that needs to be done in order for it to pass and the total is $650 plus tax. I decided to get a second opinion because this didn't seem right. Not to mention that on my way home I noticed my ABS light was on and my radio didn't turn on. This was not the case when I dropped off my car! I called them to complain about that and was just told to come back the next day for them to look at it. So I took my car to a Honda dealer. (Not just a place that sells Hondas but an actual Honda dealer). I didn't mention all the items that my car supposedly needed because I wanted to know if they would come up with the same findings. Well my car passed inspection. I am a single female in my 20s and feel that I have been grossly taken advantage of. If you are don't know a lot about cars BEWARE!!

I was born and raised in Williston Park and still live there. My whole family brings their cars to Tal's Service Station and never had a problem. We trust them with our repairs and the prices are great. Martina D. I find it very hard to believe your review. First you write your review March 21, 2014, in your own words three years after your accident. Also you drive your car back to Tal's Station the day after with NO BRAKES! Really??? Sounds fishy to me. I trust them with my car that I drive my kids in and feel very safe.

My family and I had been going there for years and years, until about three years ago and now we take all of our cars elsewhere. I brought my car in for a normal inspection, and as I was driving away after I picked it up again, I noticed something funny with the brakes. After driving for about a mile, I was trying to break for a red light and couldn't even with plenty of time stepping on the brake. I then crashed and rear ended a car that was already stopped at the light. Luckily, nobody was injured. I took my car back to Tal's the next day and they told me that the brake line was cut and needed over $1200 in repairs. Even after explaining to them that this only happened the very minute that I drove it off of their lot the day before, they wouldn't hear it. I now regret leaving it there that day to be repaired, I wish I had taken it somewhere else, but wasn't thinking straight. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I trusted Tal's, for years and years, my family were loyal customers, up until this happened. It's a shame, you think you find a mechanic you can trust, then they do this to you and you realize they are all the same, crooks.

My family and I have been taking our cars to Tal's for years. It's a family-owned business which has been there for decades. Tal is the nicest and most honest mechanic I've ever met.. He tells you honestly if you don't need work done, or if you can hold off on something. His prices are good, and the service is always very quick. I've never had a problem with them, and I sincerely doubt I ever will.
