This place is a scam and the owner is a rip off artist!!! I took my car in there to get several things done and although they fixed most of the things they messed up other things more than it was worth to get them done. They had to take apart the whole front of my car to make the mechanical repairs and these idiots couldn't figure out how to put it back together so they basically caused another 1000 dollars (that's just the part cost for ruining my headlamps) worth of damage by trying to screw my HID headlights to the frame rather than mouthing them how they were supposed to be using the mounts and they no longer self level either. And they broke the plastic tab screw holes for putting the bumper back together with the other plastic parts that are inside the wheel well and under carriage so now everything to do with the bumper and plastic parts in the whole front end is hanging on by the two screw holes they forgot to break. They purposely broke this stuff because the moron owner thought he was gonna just keep 1100 dollars allocated for fixing the body work even though he doesn't do body or paint work, this loser saw the estimate total and actually thought I was gonna sign the total insurance check over to him!!!!!!!, The things that they broke on purpose are gonna bee an additional 600 on top of the 1100 it would've originally cost.. And while they had my car (3 weeks for a 3-4 day repair), they must have been out joy riding because when I got it back there was a loud hum that was never there before which I found out what it was later when I took my car to the dealership to find out what it was and discovered that my rims were severely bent and have to be replaced at a cost of 400 per rim and 180 per tire. This is the type of place and they are the type of people that are the reason for the clich or stereotype that mechanics are crooks and thieves. And the only reason I gave this 1 star is because this site wouldn't let me save this review without giving it a star rating.

I am fairly new to Carter Lake, so when my check engine light came on I was a bit frazzled as to who to take my vehicle to. I wanted a reputable car repair business that had fair pricing. After asking some neighbors and colleagues I called Midwest Auto Repair Center. They were very friendly on the phone and were able to get my car in for a diagnostics check. After Midwest Auto determined that all I needed was a new gas cap. I was so thankful to Midwest Auto for their honesty. I now use Midwest Auto for all my vehicle repairs, as well as the basic lube and oil changes. Thanks again guys! 5 STARS
