I've been coming here for years! I'm pretty sure it's switched owners since back when I first started because the name has slightly changed, but I still get good service. I feel as though this is a place you can go to and not get ripped off. I can go in for a simple oil change and leave without the mechanic telling me I need 5 other things done to my car. There are times when he does let me know when I should start planning to have work done, but it's seldom. There are times, like today, that I asked he check my front tire because it seemed to be low on air and I had just filled it a few days ago. He checked it, said he didn't see anything in it and also said the back was low, so he filled both.
Also informed me my inspection was past due! Oops!
Oil change was $30! In and out. Love this place!

This is our family auto mechanic establishment since about 2006. Here is why: they don't suggest unnecessary repairs, they are reasonably priced and they don't rush the explanations as to what needs to be done to your vehicles. They have provided guidance for us on both new and classic vehicles and always take time to answer our sometimes ridiculous questions. They have worked on our Cadillacs, BMWs, Mercedes, Chevys, Subarus, Volvos and Jeeps over the years. Nice people, qualified, trained and patient. Eric, Tom and Ben are great at what they do and know how to speak to people. I wouldn't take our cars anywhere else.

Came here last month with my boyfriend after he purchased his new BMW. Terrible experience. Since my boyfriend was the one who bore most of the frustration, I asked him to write his own review below:
I called Eric's Premier Auto Center with the intention of getting a CARCO Vehicle inspection on my new vehicle (which is pretty much a bunch of pictures to be sent to my insurance company). Eric stated he had availability and I arrived to have the inspection done. I asked him to conduct the vehicle inspection - he thought I meant State Inspection.
He actually did the State inspection and *failed* my new vehicle, which had a valid State Inspection sticker on the car for 5 years. He explained it failed because it was new and the sensors had not calibrated yet (no new vehicle would have passed for this same reason). He told me he had to remove my state inspection sticker and I would have to come back. He then told me I had to pay him $68.
I was quite furious and demanded to know why he not only did the wrong inspection, but then failed my car when he knew it would fail, removed my sticker, and then, to top it off, try to charge me. He said people actually do get a State Inspection on a new vehicle (BS) and he felt bad so he would only charge me $45. I did not feel like arguing and just wanted to leave before I completely lost my temper so I paid him and left.
I called back a couple weeks later to bring it back to get my sticker put back on. Eric told me then that he was audited by the state, was fined for this violation, and had to return my money. He told me I could get a free inspection from the state to get a new 5 years valid State Inspection sticker on my car. I rushed back to his shop to get my refund from this "gentleman" and was given the 1-minute-finger while waiting at the counter. Twenty minutes later he came up and gave me a refund and told me where to go get my vehicle inspected to get my sticker back on.
I followed his instructions and spent about an hour waiting to have my sticker replaced. So, all in all I lost about 2-3 hours of my life because of the guy. He may be a good mechanic, I have no idea, but he sure as heck does not know the rules of the State Inspection process, and his customer service is at best abysmal. I would not recommend this place.

My mechanic Benny started working here a while back so I followed him to Eric's. I love this place. The entire team, Eric, Tom & Benny are all honest, knowledgeable, & hardworking mechanics and their rates are affordable. You get quality work for a great price. They have treated me very well and have helped me immediately when I had car emergencies and had to have my car towed there. Also, if you have to wait for an hour or so, you can go next door to the bagel shop and eat. I always highly recommend them to friends and people I know. I will go nowhere else as long as I live in Middlesex County.

First rate shop. I have a luxury car and I am generally wary of having work done with non-dealers especially now that car engines are heavily electronic. However these guys do first rate work at very attractive prices and appear to have kept up with electronic developments via certifications. I recommend them.
