I was driving on 57 Fw and felt something unusual in my business car and stealing hard to control
So I exit Lincoln and look on my Yelp the closest mechanic . I liked the review for this location
It was amazing so I decide to to go there
Once I got there I felt the welcome expression on there faces and I explains the problem and told that this car is my living and can't afford to leave it for repair long time as am on call job, also can't afford if high cost .They said we have to inspected and do our best to repair it as soon as possible and Will work out the price
They pulled out a car from the garage, put my car instead , they said need to change the gear box , that will cost $599 with minimum of 4 hours job but they promised to knock off the price as much they can with least hours
I didn't have choice so said go for it
They finished it it 2 hours and end up paying $450
What I liked about all that is I don't have to leave the car there and loss the business next day plus the time they finish the job and price dropping

I NEVER EXPECTED MY OIL CHANGE TO BE THAT FAST!!!
i was dreading the day where i needed to get an oil change because i knew it was going to put a huge dent in my day. i finally braved up the courage to go on a friday afternoon and started looking for places on Yelp. This location popped up with so many reviews. Weird, i know, for an oil change business, but they totally earned it!!
I asked the man working how long it would take, and he said that he would get me in right away. There were a few customers waiting and I saw that the workers were currently working on other cars so I just expected at least an hour wait. As i was doing some work on my ipad, the same worker told me that my car was done. IT HADN'T EVEN BEEN MORE THAN 20 MINUTES!!!
I was shocked. Furthermore, he explained to me that every 2,000 miles, i could drop by so he could check out my engine, FOR FREE!! (because of the specific oil that i need for my car). I even heard him say this to people on the phone. he even told me that he would price-match my oil if i brought him my previous receipt from another location.
I AM DEFINITELY COMING BACK HERE.

I am so happy I found this place. I had my rotors, brakes, struts, and shocks worked on. My whole experience was very professional and clear. Best part was that the amount I had to pay after all this was very reasonable AND I got my car back the next day! When I did pick the car up I was show all my old parts and see why they needed to be serviced. I know NOTHING about cars but I am so happy he showed me. This will be my main location for any car issues in the future.

Had my car's lock fixed, they had to order the parts from somewhere else and told me to come back the next day. After 10 mins I get a call that they could do the job today since they got the part at a nearer location. Came back and left my car, Al offered me a ride home so I would not be stuck there while they were working.
After a couple of hours Al was there to pick me up from home and the job was done, well done I must say.
Will definitely come back here for all my auto repairs from now on.

What poor and rude service. This is not the first time i came but its will be my last time i will ever come here. I went for an oil change and outside they advertise 19.99 oil change( i usually do my own but did not want to get dirty and was hot ) . I walk in and tell them i need an oil change and the guy behind the counter just hands me a pad and pen and says write down your VLC and mileage. I'm like umm ok. I go get the info walk back to the office and give him the pad. Then he punches in my info and mumbles my info im like huh then he mumbles again and i understand him and say then he says it will be $30 im like uhh outside it says 19.99 he's thats what you paid last time. I'm ok and i think to my self must be some sort of new client special or taxes but i wish he would of explained it, and he demands payment. ( first time that happened previos times they do the change then i pay. then he says once car before you. then i wait like an hour and he comes back and says that my hood would not close, funny i never had that problem b4 and my battery went dead. i knew i should of ran. they finally said they fixed my hood. (reminds me i need to check my hood) and give me the keys. and says its outside, i got to it and turn it on and what do i see is a check engine light on. ugh it was not on b4 what did they do?????? i storm back in at this point in irritated and ask why my light is on. he says what are you talking about. then he pulls my paper work and says oh ya they noted its on. i go outside and he says we will scan it. im like thats ok i got my own scanner but he insisted he plugs in the scanner and erases the code with out telling what it is. ugh i tell him whats the deal i come for a simple oil change and this happens, hood won't shut, battery dead. and now check engine light is on. he says well your car is very old. im like ummm my car not even 10 years old its a 2007. not once i heard an apology. i just told him he lost a customer. my car was not the only one i brought in.

This review rating is strictly based on customer service and price of an oil change (i am writing this as i wait for service on my car).
I called this place for an oil change. The gentleman who answered the phone was gracious enough to engage in a 10 minute conversation with me about the prices of a synthetic oil change (i was trying to get the best deal possible). He sold me on the oil change. So far I am impressed with the quality of customer service. The price of the oil change was very fair (roughly $60 for 6 qts of oil and filter).
I will have to see how well the job gets done before I can comment any more.

I normally do all my own maintenance work to my truck, but the GM transmission flush service was final due. I brought it to ANA Auto as they had a good yelp rating, and offered the best prices. I received my transmission flush and refill for a great price. Irish (the man working in the office) was very helpful and friendly, and showed me any issues or concerns they had after completing the service.. If I ever need a service completed that I cant handle at home, I will definitely be returning here.

Great experience! Have lived in this area for years and never thought to stop by. I was browsing through Yelp and saw great reviews and thought I'd give them a shot! Victor was the mechanic if I'm not mistaken and was so polite and willing to share so much knowledge with me regarding my car and the type of services recommended. Had an oil change and air filter changed here and feel that ice found a new go to place for my cars needs. It was a great price EXCELLENT customer service and so speedy. Will definitely come back!!

I have been here 3 times:
1st visit was a little slow, but that was because they did not have my oil filter in stock and had to go get one from a dealer.
2nd visit they did have my filter in stock and overall the visit was relatively quick.
3rd visit they had me in and out in record time.
So why only 1 star. Very simple. They did not tighten my oil filter down to the OEM specified torque. How do I know? Well after driving my car for some time (about half way between oil changes) my car decided to spew all of the oil in my engine all over my engine compartment.
Burnt oil and smoke everywhere. Had to have car towed to dealer because I thought I had a major engine failure. Only to be told my oil filter was loose and no other leaks were found. $200 later for labor and a steam cleaning of my engine compartment to avoid an oil fire, here we are with a 1 star review.
So after you add up the cost of the 3 "discount" oil changes and the cost of the clean up. It would have been cheaper to take my car to my dealer in the first place.
Do yourself a favor, for the sake of your car, do not cut corners on your service. Avoid Ana Auto Lube N Tune.
Oh and the only reason they have so many 5 star reviews is because they hound you to put up a review and when you do they give you a discount. So way to buy yelp reviews.

Thank goodness I got some free time to squeeze in an oil change! It's long overdue. So after class, I quickly searched yelp and found this auto shop. I called the place 30 minutes before closing and they still allowed me to take my car in. As soon as I parked, someone came out to greet me and answered all my questions.
The whole service costs $66 for synthetic oil on a Camry 2011 which is a bit pricey. However, the owner was extremely friendly and we were able to have small talks while I was waiting for the oil change. He also offered to check the rest of my car free of charge the next time that I visit. The whole service took less than 20 minutes.
Overall, this is the auto shop to go to when you need a quick fix!!!

I came here again yesterday and was immediately greeted by Al. I just needed a regular oil change and servicing, my brakes were also making this horrible noise ever since I left the Toyota DEALER! Al assured me they would assess the problem and get
it fixed. Surely enough, they did it again. Al could've charged me easily $400 like the dealer did to resurface my rotors which the dealer did incorrectly anyways, ugh! But he didn't, he charged me a fair honest price and that's why I will always return. I'm not car savvy and I never feel like Al is trying to sell me something I don't need or do anything extra just for me to pay more. He listens, assesses the problem and him and his team fix it with ease. Upon leaving we noticed a nail in my tire, Al and his team fixed it quickly and did not even charge me. I appreciate this place so much and won't take my car anywhere else! will refer my friends and family here always!! no more squeaky brakes, thank you Al!!

So I'm updating this review, because after my initial review below, the shop contacted me. They offered me 50% off my next oil change to remove the negative review. I said there was no flippin way I was ever taking my car back there, so they offered a refund in exchange for removing the review. (Starting to see why they have a bunch of positive reviews..) I went in for my refund, and they proceeded to argue with me. Telling me there was an issue with my car, and it wasn't their fault (Note: I did take my car to a mechanic when I saw no oil in it, my car has nothing wrong with it.) they blamed the fact that the check engine light was on when I brought my car in for the fact there was no oil as well, but the check engine light comes on when I'm due for an oil change, goes off after. But nice one, trying to take advantage of a girl because you think she knows nothing about cars. After 30 minutes of them arguing with me, they finally issued a refund, but only after I changed my review and showed them I had given them 4 stars. So here I am changing it again, hoping people take heed and this doesn't happen to anyone else. Too bad yelp can't control companies buying positive reviews.

Took my passat here for an oil change.. No big deal right? That's what I thought.. Then less than two months later, the indicator light in my car is coming on saying I need oil. Then I started remembering how they were fussing about my v6 needing more than the standard 5 quarts and charging me extra (okay, it needs more, I'll pay for it..) So less than two months, and only 2000 miles later, I check the oil and there's NONE. No, my car doesn't have any leaks. I'm not sure what they did, but it ended up costing me more than an oil change at pep boys would've cost, plus another $50 today to refill the oil because apparently they didn't put in the 6 quarts they charged me for. Oh, and the put in the wrong weight. Even though I have a high mileage car they used 5w30 instead of 10w30 or 40. Thanks guys, just hope it didn't do any damage to my engine.

me and my family have been coming here for over five years and AL and everyone here has always taken care of me and all of the cars i brought. Fords, Audi, Chevy, Toyota, scion They wold always fix problems even if another place messed it up. they never b.s. you and always tell you straight out
.I WILL NEVER HAVE ANY WORK DONE AT PEPBOYS AGAIN IN MY LIFE.
On one of the older cars i brought in they said it needed a repair that would cost about 1500 and instead of pushing it on me they told me that i shouldn't do the repair because the car wasn't worth it. NEVER HAS A MECHANIC TOLD ME TO HOLD OFF ON THE REPAIR BECAUSE ITS NOT WORTH IT. To them costumer service comes first. YOU will never find a nicer person than AL.
Today i had them take off a busted oil pan bolt and they did a fantastic job because they did the job so carefully they didn't damage the oil pan itself. Very grateful and will continue coming back here
Anytime a friend needs any work done on their car i always tell them to go here
Price is way lower than other places and they will actually take care of your car

I just moved to the Anaheim area so I looked to Yelp to help me find a mechanic. Glad Yelp directed me to ANA Auto Lube & Tune. I brought my car in because it was making a high pitched squeal near the belt/water pump area.
After the diagnosis was done, Al informed me that my water pump was bad. He propsed a quote to replace the pump, serpentine belt and thermostat. I thought it was high, so I checked around and his prices are competitive. I agreed to the price and authorize the work. Few minutes later he called and said he mispriced the thermostat but I couldn't do anything about it since the car needed it. It was a $50 difference.
Here is where Al and the business came through. Since he made the mistake he only took the price we both agreed on. That's integrity there. I will definitely be back based on that business practice.

This is my second visit here & I have no complaints. I'm always taken care of promptly and Al is just awesome! Greets me right away and is always honest. They don't try to upsell me on anything.
I found this place through yelp & glad I did. Inexpensive oil change ($24 w/ tax) & thorough check on the car without asking. Today I also asked if they could change the bulb for my headlight since it was out. I already bought the bulb from AutoZone, but I didn't know how to replace it. They checked my headlights right in front of me and showed me that the bulb I bought was not even a good one. It didn't work. (Frustrating, right?) Anyways, Al offered to sell me one of his for the same price I got mine & told me to march back to AutoZone and demand a refund for selling me a bulb that doesn't even work. Now, Sheldon (my VW Jetta) can see perfectly fine & they did this for me, free of charge! Sweeeet!

Al is the best!!! He is very thorough and will find out what's wrong with your car. My car was having electrical problems and keep having multi system failure that would automatically turn my car off and wouldn't restart. He took his time and went through every possibility and found out what was wrong. Ended up being my computer, alternator and battery. The best part he reprogrammed the computer for free. I take both my cars here and couldn't be more satisfied.

Yesterday I came here for the first time to get an oil change. Right when I walked out of my car, Al greeted me and asked me what kind of service I wanted. Right off the bat I knew this was going to be a good experience. Their customer service was on point and I can tell that they cared about the customer and the honesty that they provide as a company.
I had a few other things that I needed to get fixed on my car but I felt no pressure to get it done right then and there (there's so many other places that makes you feel like if you don't get it done that same day, it's a life or death situation for your car).
Also, I felt that their operating system was very effective and very organized. When I spoke to Al to see if their system will inform them of what I needed to get done the next time I go there and yeah it does. I rarely ever see any other mechanic's that can provide this.
They definitely sold me as a customer and I will be coming back for all other maintenance needed.

Update after one and a half years.
I gave these guys a really great review and 5 stars back in 2014. Now almost two years later I am changing my review entirely due to the results.
It was a great experience cause they found things wrong with my brake master cylinder. They went out of their way to reduce the price by finding a used one and get the parts I needed. They did it quick and painlessly.
Sounds great right?
Unfortunately my brakes started acting up and went to another local shop which had quite a reputation in town. They showed me the master cylinder they installed were completely failing at salvage level quality and adding air into my brakeline. I cannot believe the master cylinder would fail within 2 years of install. Neither could they because master cylinders dont fail all that often even when used.
Here is the kicker to me though. The guys were able to find me a brand new master cylinder and install it complete with brake flush for less than what these guys charged me for a used one in 2014!!! They completely ripped off.
My brakes are bow performing like brand new.
I would avoid any repair services from these guys. Stick with the oil change and other super basic needs.

Hands down the best place to go for your car!!! First off, I don't write many reviews but I had to for this one. I came in to get my car fixed because it was making a big squeaking noise. I thought it was one of the belts and had to get it replaced. So then I told Al and he said he'll look at it. Then he came back and said the car was fixed! I was confused because we never discussed about the price to fix my car. He told me some of the belts were loosen and had to be tighten so they did it for free!!! He could had told me I did need to replace the belts, which isn't cheep, and tightened the belt without me knowing that was the problem. This place is very truthful and trustworthy place so don't be worried about getting ripped off like other places. I'm for sure taking my car here again if I have any problems with my car.

Came here to get my oil changed for the first time today, and I was very impressed with their customer service! The owner came right out, I had my own oil and filter and he only charged me $15!!! They changed my oil in under half an hour, I was very happy with how fast there service is here. The owner is very honest and a very friendly guy. Came here from placentia because of all the good yelp reviews and they did not disappoint. The gentleman up front, Al, was really nice and helpful. I just needed an oil change and maintenance checkup.
Got there on a Saturday afternoon and they saw me right away. They found I needed a new air filter and got me a really good deal on it all. They also swapped out my headlights for me too. I definitely would've spent a lot more going anywhere else.
I will definitely be coming here for routine maintenance.

My car was jerking intermittently. I stopped at ANA auto lube n tune coz yelp showed good reviews for the business and I am glad that I did. Al (I think he was the manager/owner) instantly recognized the fault and fixed my car in less than an hour. He also offered me a ride home, had I chosen to leave my car instead of waiting there. Fast, cheap and great service. I am definitely going back to that shop next time my car needs servicing.

I wish I could rate these guys 5 stars unfortunately my experience wasn't well. I came here for a simple brake bleed service. I paid $50 for the service. The mechanic bled it himself rather than the 2 man method. I never knew bleeding brakes took 10 minutes. They didn't even bother topping off the master cylinder with brake fluid. It was practically empty when I took a look at it. My brake still feels spongy, exactly how it felt before I took it in to get it bled. What a waste of $50.
They didn't even bother giving me a receipt until I asked for one. For some odd reason, they tried getting my brother to sign the repair order.

Ana's not exactly who you find when you get to the counter but you'll be more than happy to meet the gentleman in the front, Al. Not your average car repair shop and definitely not the average service you'd get. Al is STELLAR, he's the full package, courteous, service-oriented, and looks out for the well being of your vehicle as well as your wallet :)
I came in for a routine oil change, a 20 min service and out the door. Over the phone he promised me quick and good service for $20 on the oil change. While working on it he noticed my passenger side brake pads was making a noise and instead of just passing it by he did went WAYY beyond the call of duty and took each tire off, checked my rotors, checked the brake pads and took down the measurements of each rotor. At this point I was sure he was gona try and sell me on more services but to my surprise, he didn't bother me about it for even a moment. He simply gave me a recommendation on when I should get those changed and sent me on my way after finishing the oil change. Oh btw, this all for $20, no extra charge!!!
This place is the Mecca of good service when it comes to car service. Come check him out, I promise you won't regret it and make sure you ask for AL!!

They tried to rip us off, using a strategy to set us up. The owner is very knowledgable, and was very close to winning my confidence, but I sensed something fishy. Basically the said we needed a valve & head gasket job ($950) on our Honda because the temp gauge showed overheating - but the car wasn't overheating. I went to Pep Boys, they replaced the sensor (low $100s), and the car is fine.
The setup was they ran a pressure test and replaced the thermostat. They said they were going to do the sensor as well, but they didn't get the part. They said bring it back, they'd replace the sensor and run pressure test again, and if it failed then we need the head gasket. We came back, he said he was mistaken and they had replaced the sensor, and the pressure test failed. It was a lie.

Today I went in for an oil change. My car isn't' the cheapest to maintain but I got this oil change for a very reasonable price. They also found that I needed to change out my filters which also wasn't as costly as I assume it would be at other places. Today I left with two things done to my car and in a timely manner. The owner was very courteous and attentive and got to working on my car right away. I would recommend this place because you can't beat the price and they seem to work at a quick pace.

I went to ANA Auto Lube N Tune today because of Yelp. As stated by one reviewer, it is located on the SW corner of Santa Ana St & State College. It is a small three bay shop with quick service. I asked for a synthetic oil change. I was given that and the following items; all fluids check, air pressure check, a visual check of hoses and air filters of the engine and interior cabin. The price I would have paid for the synthetic oil change somewhere else would have been more than $60. Then add the additional checks done to the car and the price would have been a lot higher. I was only charged $50! And otherwise, the only thing they recommended to do was change the engine filter. I normally say no to any added charges. The oil filter was a dirty, oily mess that has never been changed (36K miles). They only charged me $22 for the filter, when a Honda filter is $40-50.
Once I handed my keys over, I told Al that I would go next door to Angelo's Hamburgers (roller skating waitresses) to get a cup of coffee. I came back 18 minutes later to find the work done. He asked if I wanted the air filter changed in the engine compartment. He opened the plastic lid and I saw the dirtiest filter I have seen in quite a while. And no, they did not spray oil on the filter so that I can buy a new one. I have seen that trick and know the difference. I like the way that they gave me the option to purchase with no heavy sales routine.
I will make sure to keep coming back to ANA Auto Lube N Tune. Al was a very nice man that explained everything to me. I am very knowledgeable about cars, but I did not let him know that information. I wanted to hear Al speak. He did not attempt to "up" sell me nor was he non-communicative with me. He told me what I needed to know to make a decent decision. I did all this with the idea of being able to send my wife or daughter to his business without worry. I can trust that Al will help them.
I feel very comfortable recommending ANA Auto Lube N Tune. Good prices and nice people.

Honesty, good prices, fast service is what you find in this shop. I was treated with warmth from Junaid. He isn't like a traditional auto shop manager. I brought my wife's Camry because it used make a squeeking noise after starting it up, I thought it was something that would cost me an arm and a leg, Junaid had his mechanic inspect it and all it needed is a lil tightening up. I know if I would of went to a different shop they would of said you need this and that . But Junaid was honest and said it's all good it doesn't need anything, I still did the oil change special and left so happy and I really recommend them.

We went to Disneyland two weeks ago and our car got broke down in the hotel at the day we arrived. The next day we plan to go Disneyland with our toddler girl, and this really made us worried because we have very limited days in LA for vacation. On the next day morning around 8:30am, we search on yelp and called ANA Auto Lube N Tune and asked for help. We have several concerns:
1. Limited time that we are going Disneyland and how long will take to get the car got fixed?
2. We are not local and how to make sure the service fees arare resonable.
Ali who picked up called was so friendly and kind, he suggested we spend our AAA service to tow the car to the center, they will diagnose and call us to let us know the quotation before they proceed to fix the car. If we are not satisfied with the price, we can only just pay for $50 diagnosy fee.Ali told us to enjoy the day fullest and don't worry about the car.
So, we decided to take his suggestion. AAA came to tow our car at around 10:20am, and we just take the hotel shuttle to the disneyland right after that.Ali called and get us the quotation, which we feel that's a very reasonable price. on that day, we leave our car at ANA auto service center and spent a day time in Disneyland.
The next morning, Ali's co-worker called upon when the car is ready. They are so kind to offer us to drive our car to our hotel and then my husband drove him back to the service center.
Finally, we got back home safely and here they deserved a high compliment to their customer service and vehicle service quality!

Looking around for a trustworthy mechanic, since I am new to the area, I saw on Yelp the high reviews and overall satisfaction and decided to give them a try. I was warmly greeted as I entered and the owner was very nice in explaining the charges to me. I asked for a repair and an oil change which he gave me a quote for. It was higher then I was quoted where I lived previously but still within reason for the work to be done. After agreeing to have the repairs done at this price I checked my savings account and saw I did not have enough to cover the charges quoted and quickly advised him of this. After apologizing for the inconvenience he was willing to take a smaller profit in hope of keeping me as a customer which allowed me to continue with the repair.
I have since received a couple of phone calls asking if the repair has gone well and if I was seeing any problems with what was fixed. (the repair was good)
This experience has turned out to be very pleasant and I would highly recommend anyone trying this location out. I will be bringing all of my future business to this location in the future.

I don't recommend this place. The guy that helped me was very dishonest. He quoted me on $1,500 for some things I needed done in my car. Funny thing his price was significantly higher than the two other mechanics I had gone to previously, almost double. I left thinking "I'm not coming back to this place" I was mad because he treated me as if I didn't know what the heck I was saying just because I'm a woman
Then I got even more mad when I realized he said $1,500 because he had seen a check stub from farmers insurance for exactly the same amount. Then I remembered a comment he made about a small dent my bumper had "oh you know you can fix your bumper for a lot less" and I was like "a lot less what" and he got all nervous and said "umm a lot less than what Toyota would charge you" then it hit me, he had seen the check stub from the insurance company. SHADY!

I initially came here just to get an oil change but my Mazda 3 also was having problems that I noticed and the check engine light was on so I thought I would get that checked too there. Upon finishing the diagnostic he said there could be two possible things causing it and he advised me to go with the first possible problem and spend 700 to fix it. I agreed and later found out these parts he was buying cost no more than 150 and I was being ripped off a bit. I drove in the next day when they first opened hoping they had not worked on my car yet so I could get it back and not pay for their work. I get there and they without telling me brought it to a mazda dealer telling me they couldn't figure out what was wrong. At this point I was just very sketched out by them and told them to release the car and give it back to me so that Mazda would report to me and not them and luckily they agreed. Later found out from Mazda it was some major engine part which was not anything they suggested and my power train warranty covered the costs. This place seems to be alright maybe for smaller things like oil changes or new brake pads or whatever but do not go here for any larger scale car problems they are shady.

So... I had a completely different experience here than I did the last time. The last person that helped me was a dark skinned man with striking blue eyes that was incredibly helpful (don't recall his name). This time, another man was on staff (he wrote "Al" on a business card).
First the pros:
-got a great deal on a basic oil change: $17 vs. $22 with coupon ($3 hazardous free extra)
-oil change was pretty quick (about an hour)
-received a $5 discount on tire rotation
Cons:
-I kept being asked to write a yelp review after I said I found them on yelp (they asked how I knew about their store). At least 4 times... one time of which I was asked if I wrote my review yet when my car was ready. I mean, ask me once (if you really feel compelled to), but this was just too much. Annoying.
-tire rotation is $20 additional. The only reason I received a discount was because I pointed out that my dealership charges the same amount (and that's the dealership's standard rate... plus the dealership is running a $20 oil change special, which makes their rates almost the same, and you get a free exterior car wash at the dealership).
-my tire pressure light came on later in the day. When I checked my tire pressure, they were at 47 psi (should be 33)! I let my car cool down overnight and checked again this morning-completely cool, it was still at 38psi.
-One of my valve stem caps was not put back on.
I think it's safe to say I'll probably try another place next time.

I moved to Anaheim a month ago,from Seattle. And today I had decided to visit them after having read most of you reviews--thanks for guiding me to this place. I had never hesitated to go there since their shop is a minute far form my new apartment -- how lucky I am. The reasons for my visit were to: 1) replace my engine oil and the filter, 2) replace the belt since it was making noise. However, after the checking had been done, they told that there was no reason to change the belt now; it was loose a little bit and they tightened it for me for free. Their prices are reasonable. Moreover, they were so polite and I really enjoyed talking with them. You were right when you gave them 5 stars. Definitely, if God wills, I will visit them again. Let's face it. Finding a good mechanic is probably one of the most stressful things you can do. I usually ask people I know. I needed an oil change during the week so I YELPED it and found this spot just a few blocks away from my work in Anaheim.
Iresh, the owner, greeted me. One thing I noticed is this place is into keeping your info organized. Get ready to give Iresh your email, he'll ask it from you.. more on that later. I told him I needed an oil change and he said it'll be done in 15 minutes. Awesome right? So, I started cruising the next door plaza for a place to eat.. Save yourself that walk. Just go across the street and head to the big corner of Lincoln and State College.. more places to eat. Anyway, I digress.
As I was walking away.. Iresh calls me and walks me to my car. He informs me that I need a couple of things. A new belt because the old one was tearing and cracking. He took a flash light and offered me to take a look. Very hands on. He also showed a small leak and a dirty air filter. I usually feel uneasy when a mechanic throws so much at me. I mean I was there for an oil change during my LUNCH. It seemed routine to me....so I decided to take his advice on the belt since my car is over 10 years old. But wait on the minor leak and air filter change. (I usually do that on my own anyway). It was just adding up too fast and plus I had no time for all of that... But I liked that he was pointing out the problem.. and wanted to make sure I saw it for myself. He went out of his way to be transparent. It was just a little surprising to spend over $120 when you were just there for an oil change. But, it is what it is. It's a toss up. Do you want to be cheap and possibly cause more problems to your car later, or trust this mechanic and fork out a few $$ to prevent future expense? To be or not to be...
Anyway.. I left for about 30 minutes. When I got back, my car was ready. Paid my bill, (even though I wasn't expecting to spend more than $25), I was good with everything.
I was impressed with the speed.. so much so that I when I got back to work, I had to pop the hood and make sure they changed that belt. True story. And they passed.
The email he asked for was because he emails you a few days later and asks you to review his shop. Give him some feedback. That's a good businessman... So here I am Iresh. If I need to do some work on my car while I'm in Anaheim, I'll be back. Thanks guys for an honest and quick service. Please stay true and keep providing that fast easy service. Al had one of his guys take a look at it, and gave me an honest answer - that I didn't really need to spend the money to fix them. I came here looking for a quick and cheap oil change. I was in and out in 15 minutes tops. I payed a total of $24.00 After the mechanic was done with the oil change the owner called me over and suggested me to replace my :
Air cabin filter
Air filter
front brake pads
Flush my transmission oil
Now this is where everything went down hill. First he told me that I need a new air cabin filter which was strange because I had just replaced it less than two months ago. Secondly he asked if I wanted to get a new air filter since mine looked dirty, I kindly declined. Then he told me that my brakes needed to be replace immediately or as soon as I had money to get them fixed , reason being? they only had "10%" left until they started to damaged my rotors or fail on me . I was very concerned about my brakes after what he had told me. He also said that my transmission oil was dirty and needed to be replaced so he suggested a transmission flush. He said he need to use special and very expensive oil for this sort of job but that it was much cheaper than buying a new transmission . In all he wanted to charge me-
Air cabin filter $20
Air filter $20
front brake pads $129.99
Flush my transmission oil $149.99 =$320 plus tax
I decided to wait on all of the additional work he recommended and just paid for my oil change. I came home and decided to check my air cabin filter. To my surprise it was still clean and didn't need replacement as the owner said. A few days later I checked my cars brake pads by removing the tires and removing them from the caliper. I was SHOCKED to see my brake were still more than half full . The owner said they were at 10%. I couldn't believe the owner would lie about such an important thing. Im now wondering if I actually need a transmission flush. Im glad I waited and check the brake pad by myself. I will not be coming back here again. Yes the owner was nice and friendly. Yes its fast and inexpensive but the owner was very dishonest. So sorry Mr. but I will not be leaving a good review as you asked me to do 1 star is the best I can do.

I also found out the Very expensive transmission oil he uses runs for 6 bucks at my local dealership. I also uploaded pictures of the so called worn out brake pads to show you guys that they still have lots of usage left in them.

My second visit to the ANA shop was great! Initially I had left a negative review because of my misunderstanding regards to ANA's work ethic. I sincerely apologize. I believed that you probably did bleed my brake lines after more research was done. Your pricing is good, your work is fast(always a plus!), and I am very satisfied with your service.
Here is today plus+: Front(Brembo's pad) & Rear(Akebono's pad) Brake Pad Replacement, Resurface all Rotors($350) and Brake Fluid Replacement/Flush($50) = $400 OTD($20 discount later = $380 OTD YAH!!!). The deal sounds good. Friendly people both the owner and Al offered coffee, water and banana(odd but very nice of Al)(multiple times) They even offer a loaner CAR (hmmm first class auto, OR what....?).

I've came to this shop quite a few times already and every time I've came here, the service was quick! The prices here are cheaper than the dealerships that I used to go to!
Today I needed an oil change and the last time i came here, they said I needed my transmission oil or whatever it's called changed (I don't know too much about cars lol) so I decided to have that and the oil changed done in 20 minutes! Very quick service!
Another thing that I like about this place is that everyone here doesn't push you to get this or that done. They tell you what's going on with your car without trying to sucker you into getting all these things done unlike other places which is a plus!!
The last couple times I've been here it was Al who was helping me! He's always super friendly!
Overall, if your looking for a shop with quick service and prices that beat other shops, this is the shop to go to!

I paid $30 (normally $45 at a car dealership) for a basic oil change plus filter, which took about 30 minutes. I was the first in line when they opened 10 minutes after 0800. The manager cut me a deal for my first oil change with them and to write a Yelp review. We did a little negotiating, which I don't normally like doing but should expect at a car service station. Bottom line--I'd go back for a basic oil change, which is pretty much all I'm comfortable doing at places other than car dealerships.

This is a great place! I was on my lunch hour and needed my oil changed fast. Al the manager was nice and very helpful. He knew I was in a hurry and said it would be done in 5 min. I thought that was nice, but didn't expect it done so fast. It WAS DONE in 5 min.!!!! He used Quantum Syn. blend oil and it was done as he said and with the price he quoted, no trying to upsell you here. I've been here for about 2 years now for an oil change and each time I've been here, they give great service and great prices. for around in anaheim you can get a better price for an oil change. even a synthetic oil change is a great price. there is air condition in here with magazines and the wait takes about 10-15 minutes. although they can be very busy at times, they always put the customers first and try their best to make everything quick and easy. I had a tire popped at the last minute once and they quickly glued my tired together for it to last couple days to get it fixed. definitely recommend this place for anyone who needs oil change or any service.

Came here to get my front brakes change for my 08 escalade. Al was super friendly. Great customer service. Great conversation. Heck,he even bought me coffee from Angelo's (restaurant next door). This place is legit.
Victor, the mechanic, thoroughly inspected my brakes. Turns out that my front brakes were fine (90%). It was the rear brakes that was making the damn noise. He also resurfaced the rotors. In addition, he found a piece of medal in one of my tire. He pulled out an luckily there was no air leak. Saved me a trip and $ to the tire shop. Thanks Vic!

2 Years later and another great experience with this shop. Not only is the service kind and courteous, they were actually ahead of schedule on the repairs. They offered me a ride to the shop when the work was complete, but as I have two small children they offered to bring my car to me. We did not request to see the parts replaced, but Irish had all the parts ready to be reviewed and explained again what was repaired and why. The cost for the amount of repairs done to our car was not only reasonable, but competitive! In addition, this shop offers a 1 year warranty on their work. They have been consistently professional, courteous, helpful and above all honest. I highly recommend this shop.

I took my car to ANA because I was having cooling system issues. I assumed the radiator was bad and told Al to replace it. He called me later to inform me that my radiator was fine, and it was only the hoses that were bad. I really respected that he was honest and didn't do the unnecessary repair. He very easily could have made some extra money off me, as I had already authorized the larger repair. Instead he replaced my hoses and thermostat for a fair price and I was on my way.
The 3.5 star review is because I had an issue with the hose again a week later, and it turns out that the old clamps were re-used, and not tightened correctly, so the hose continued to leak coolant. I brought it back and Al quickly had it taken care of for no extra cost, but I feel that preventative measures could have been taken on the initial repair to ensure the job was done completely and correctly.
Over all, I would recommend ANA Auto for regular services and small repairs due to their honesty and fair pricing, but the small mistake concerns me. It could have just been a one time slip up, but if I hadn't been observant with my cars behavior this slip up could have cost me a ton of money.

If you are an Anaheim Local, I recommend coming here for a quick and cheap oil change. I was weary of this place at first because they did the typical "oh you need this and that." However, I knew my car had radiator problems and the owner actually went out of his way to help me out. I ended up shelling out $600 bucks but I am happy with the work. My car is running great and no problems so far. Though the place looks a bit shady from the outside, the quality of work makes up for it.

Comes out that they told me (like many others) that I was due for a tube up among some other regular maintenance things. The owner have us an awesome deal if we were able to do it that day. We had some time fortunately-however had already planned to meet up with one if my bridesmaids to do some wedding stuff so I couldn't really go without a car. All I can say is that these guys are simply the best. As an owner of two older vehicles requiring maintenance, I have always been treated more than fair It's nice to walk in the mechanic and not feel like I'm automatically going to be taken advantage of. I had to have brakes and motor mounts done recently on my vehicle and a new radiator and oil gasket (?) replaced on my daughter's vehicle. And they worked with me on all the repairs ensuring we were safe.
They will give you a quote in advance, tell you what you need done now and what can wait till later. They will refer you to other businesses that can service you better on things like tires which is rare. And if you have a quote from someone else they will always do their best to meet or beat it. I just feel like these guys really are concerned about my safety Thank you for taking care of me and my daughter. It's appreciated more than you know.

First 5 star rating I ever gave to a non food joint. Drive by the shop after a work out and saw the lightS still on and 19.99 a oil change. I drove up and they were closing but AL the manager walked up to me and invited me in. I just moved to the Anaheim area and really needed an oil change. I know people say it's just a an oil change and you could go anywhere, but I pay a lot of money for my car. So if I could find a good mechanic to make my car last longer but not break the bank, I am so in. I stumbled upon Ana's auto lube n tune. They were very knowledgeable and gave great tips on my car and how to maintain it. I also got an amazing price for full synthetic oil. They also checked my brakes and tires for free. I found out that I needed new back brakes. The best part was that They aren't pushy like most mechanics I've encountered and are very honest and upfront. Great service and great deal. Owner and mechanics here seem honest and seasoned. I came here to get a full synthetic oil change for my Prius (Prius is full synthetic). It's hard to find a good deal for synthetic oil changes so I usually have all of them done at the dealership since they're pretty much the same price. I called this place up for a quote anyways and I couldn't find any place that would beat $39.99. One star missing because it's more of a hole in the wall type of mechanic and the setting displays that, also I had to show the mechanic myself how to reset the maintenance light.

I don't even know where to begin with this place. Every time i begin to write a review i get writers block with all the great things I want to say. Lets start with the first time i came to Ana's, my car was sputtering and was afraid to take it anywhere for fear that i may be ripped off. I went on Yelp and saw all the good reviews and decided to come in. They have great customer service and an organized system of taking in customers. They told me I needed to replace an 2 engine coils. They explained what they needed to do, showed me and quoted prices and would not begin until i was sure. Surprisingly the price was not outrageous, but in the range i expected. Since then I've been back for Oil Changes & Spark Plugs. One incident i came in for an Oil Change and they found that the previous shop I went to did a Mickey Mouse job on my Oil pan plug, when they did an Oil Change. I did remember them telling me something about replacing a gasket and something happened, but they will fix it at no cost. They placed some rubber ring around the plug tread that allowed the plug to stay there, but when removed Ana's mechanic asked me if i was aware how loose it was, i guess over time the rubber got worn. The guy at the shop explained that this isn't something they do and this is why they are bringing it to my attention and showed me the correct plug that is suppose to be in the oil pan and explained that it didn't fit, it was too short. The guy tried everything he could with the mechanic to find an alternate thing to do besides replacing the pan. The mechanic said no to almost every idea, but one, which was to get the same plug for my type car, but longer, and it worked! He could of charged me $40 more for that plugged, he sent the guy to the store to get it, but he didn't. I get this same experience every time i come here.

Yes, yes, YES! I've brought my car here twice; once for an air conditioning repair, once for a coil replacement. Not only did Al and his crew do a great job both times, they saw fit to extend me credit in order to enable me to have the necessary work done when it needed to be done. I took my car in for an oil change and tune-up last week. An incidental finding by their mechanics was evidence of cupping on all four tires, due to old, worn-out struts. My struts were original (had never been replaced), and I have over 204,000 miles on my car; apparently these need to be replaced after 50,000 miles! No other mechanics ever bothered to check this for me, and this could have resulted in very costly repairs in the future (not to mention the possibility of having a serious accident if the tires had blown out).
I was very happy with the service and preventative maintenance, and will be continuing to bring my car to these great mechanics!

This place is top notch. Let me begin by stating that I'm a 20something blonde girl who has a problem with these kind of places taking me seriously and not trying to rip me off - this was not the case at Ana Auto Lube. I came in for the first time for an oil change and they suggested a few cost effective things they could do in addition to boost my MPG. Although I declined they were still courteous and friendly. The 2nd time I came in because I needed some repair work after running over some foreign object on the 405. I went to my Mazda dealer and they wanted to charge me almost 3 times the amount for the exact same work/part. Ana Auto Lube used Mazda parts and charged me a 1/3 of what the dealer wanted!
I have referred many friends to this shop and they have all been pleased as well. The owner also works with you for payment. He let me pay the repair cost in payments which was extremely helpful. I would highly recommend.

I found this place in the Penny Saver because I was looking for a cheap oil change close to my house. I went in with my coupon and the man honored it. I was the first customer of the day, the man was courteous and very nice. They took about 20 minutes to complete my oil change. He tried to sell me more service of changing out the cabin filter and getting a check up on my transmission but he was pushy and took my no thank you. Overall great service! Timely manner! Honored my oil change coupon! I used to pay $40 at Valvoline, paid half the price here! I'll be going back here for sure and I would recommend it to others as well!

My boyfriend and I took my car on 5/1/2014 that was in desperate need of an oil change and other services. We were greeted by who we assumed to be the owner. He was extremely helpful and wanted to make sure we were in and out ASAP. His mechanics looked over my car and told me everything that was needed. I know most places will say u need this and that and then quote u an arm and a leg. Not this place. They told me exactly what my car needed and didn't try to sell me other fixes which we did not need. He quoted us awesome and very reasonable prices! We can't all afford the latest and greatest road toys and the stress of not having a dependable car in this town can be daunting. That's why it's great that there are at least some dependable repair shops like Ana Auto around. Friendly workers, speedy service, quality work, and reasonable prices. No one LIKES to get their car fixed, but everyone needs to do it at some point... so next time, you "auto" stop in.

I came here based on its Yelp reviews, I needed my transmission oil changed and had no idea where to go. Everyone warns you how the dealership is going to overcharge you so I decided to try out Ana's.
When I called to make my appointment I told the guy I spoke with that I had their coupon from online, that was it, no questions asked other than what time I wanted to come in and my phone number. When I got there I'm told that the kind of car I had would cost more than the coupon said it would. The reason I wasn't told this on the phone? Because I didn't tell them what kind of car I drove when I made my appointment. I'm sorry, isn't it the businesses responsibility to ask these questions seeing as they're the ones that know there might be a difference in cost? The guy then proceeded to tell me he thought I was there from a recommendation from someone else and already knew the cost. Why would you think that? I didn't say that. You never asked how I heard about you.
The one good thing was that he at least agreed to match the price the dealer quoted me. Well, basically matched it. I told him the dealer quoted me $167 and he agreed to match it and cover the tax, so a total of $170 (not sure how that's the same as $167 but I'm not going to sweat the $3).
Throughout the appointment the guy kept trying to explain to me why it was going to cost me $140 more than the coupon had said it would. And I kept explaining that I understood that the transmission fluid cost more (no need to take me into the bay and SHOW me the box of fluid containers). He really seemed to refuse to understand my point that of the two of us he's the one that knew there might be a price difference, therefore it's his responsibility to ask the necessary questions.

This is definitely my go-to place for oil changes and repairs. I went in for the first time last year and left happy and satisfied with my choice. They are friendly, helpful, and just real people! They showed me my air filter before I decided on replacing it or not, which makes me comfortable knowing that they don't do random replacements or repairs and then charge you a ridiculous amount afterwards. (I hate dealerships and other places that do that, because they assume you have no idea.) As a college student, it's definitely a quick and affordable service!

Took our car there with a transmission problem.
They looked at the car and found the problem within 20 minutes. They also gave us recommendations of what they can do and how much.
They were very reasonable and honest. Nice staff and Knowledgeable.
The Price was right and NO Price GOUGING HERE.
We ended up getting our car fixed for probably 10% of the cost that the dealer or a car repair chain would have charge us.
Dont waste time or money going anywhere else.

This place is great. At first glance I was a little apprehensive, but exterior looks are not what really matters here. I went in for an oil change nothing serious. He didn't try to up-sell me on anything I didn't already know needed to be replaced, which is nice. Needless to say I will be back and you should give this place a try.

The first time I came here, I got exceptional service which took me by surprise. Most auto service stations I have been too don't have a good service culture. Chains usually don't.
I came in for a $20 oil change and I got an inspection as well. They told me of other car issues that I may be facing for maintenance and how much it would cost. I appreciated their honesty and felt like I could trust them. He wasn't at all pushy when I declined services after telling them that I would be back when I had the money.
For someone not too familiar with auto mechanics, this place seems like a decent place where you can expect honest work done on your car.

I went here to get my brakes changed, and ended up needing more work done. Al was extremely helpful, and i could tell he was not about the money. When he tallied up my total cost, it was way more than i could afford. Al assured me that their philosophy is not about money, but customer relations, and gave me great discounts! I am not good with cars, but never felt like i was being taken advantage of. When i told my dad all the work i got done for that price, he was shocked. This place is great. I would recommend it for anyone needed work done for a reasonable price and looking for a regular mechanic. I will be returning!

I came here because an oil change is only $19.95. That's a great price for an oil change!
Pros:
- very friendly service. The staff there made me feel comfortable, and we're happy that I chose them to service my vehicle. When they explained what recommendations they have for my car, I didn't feel pressured.
Cons:
- The waiting room isnt very clean. Its fairly dirty, uncomfortable, and small.
I give this place 4 stars because despite and filthy waiting room, I appreciate the low cost for the oil change and positive attitude the staff displays speaks volumes.

Got some work done a couple of times. Yesterday Al worked on my car and gave me a quote to do some repairs and oil change/tire rotate. He makes it a point to only fix what needs to be done rather than pad the quote with a bunch of additional work just so he can make money. Very honest and fair. Once before there was an error on processing my credit card and they got ahold of me so I could come back in and get it straightened out. Great place to take your car! Highly recommend if you need good services and an honest mechanic, this is your place.

I work right by this place and these guys really helped me out last week. (On Christmas Eve for a matter of fact!) Right as I pulled into work my car blew a hose and I had power steering fluid all over the parking lot. I called Ana Auto and told them about the situation and that I wasn't comfortable with the idea of driving my car across the street to their shop since my power steering and brakes were now gone. They went above and beyond and sent one of their techs (Victor) across the street to give me a hand. Got the hose fixed and fluid filled back up right in my work's own parking lot!
To top it off they only charged me $40 for all of their great service when I needed it most. I can't think of another place around this area that would have done the same...and on a holiday for that matter.

I have been coming to Iresh to service my car for last 5 years. He has always been completely honest and has never tried to take advantage of the fact that I'm a female that knows nothing abour cars. I have also been working with Al for almost 2 years and he always makes sure my car is in good condition and safe to drive. They never try to pressure you into any additional service that you don't need. If there is something they recommend, they leave it up to you to get it done when you're most comfortable and their prices are very reasonable compared to what I've seen before coming to Ana Auto...there's no nickel and diming. The customer service is great and they resepect your time and get your car serviced quickly. Finding a good and TRUSTWORTHY mechanic is no easy task and I'm confident that I've found just that.

This is why I love and appreciate Yelp. It helps people find honest, reliable businesses such as ANA Auto Lube N Tune. This oil change station was the only place that received 5 stars from 10 other reviewers. So when it came to change my oil I came here with full confidence.
As soon I pulled in one of the owners greeted me, "How are you brother?" His tone and posture were not threatening nor suspicious like a crooked businessman. Rather, he seemed genuine and somewhat intrigue about why a young man would pull in to his shop. After taking down my information, he asked me how I found this place. I told him, "Yelp." "Ah, yes, the Internet. I've been seeing more young and intelligent people coming in. Thank you for coming in." Ah, don't thank me sir, thank Yelp.
After further conversation I found out that he used to visit Portland, OR and Vancouver, WA on regular basis. What?! Awesome! We talked about just how amazing Portland is for about 10 minutes. It was so awesome to share my love for Portland with a complete stranger. (Well, now my best buddy.)
Anyways, the worker worked on my car carefully observing it for any sign of damage. And since my engine light was on, he checked it and explained why it was on. He gave me few advice on what to do and didn't charge me for that service. After all those services, the total came out to be $23.00. Awesome. I almost paid $40 at Jiffy Lube for the same service. Screw you Jiffy!
Great service, great work, honest people. That combination is rare these days but thanks to Yelp, people are able to find and reward them by giving them our business.

Al was very helpful and very good service. Once my car was done, he brought me over to bay and showed me how one of my brake pads has cracked and how the value cover of my gasket had to be replaced. Front Brakes, Machine Front Rotors, Clean Rear Brakes, Air Filter, and Value cover gasket replace for right around $350. The price was right compared to other auto service places and very fair. I will be coming back here whenever I need auto service repair. Thanks Al!!!!

Went for an oil change since its close to work plus the price was very friendly. Was surprised on the quick service they had my car back to me before my 30 min lunch was complete. They recommended an air filter which I agreed to but made sure they gave me the old one so that I could check it out and sure enough a new was not that far fetched (probably could've waited a lil while but figured what the heck). Hands down the best place I've ever been to. I was extremely satisfied with their customer service. "Irish" sat me down and gave me a low down of why my heater wasn't working, what it needed, and the cost (very reasonable). He worked with me on pricing. Other places would've tried to rip me off with hundreds of dollars more for sure. But I felt at ease with this place. The guys even offered to drive me and my son home since my car had to stay over night. Overall, I'd say I've never seen such nice and honest people in that line of business. Usually it is difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic. Well at ANA Auto Lube N Tube, you will be treated with great customer service. Also you'll get the best price for an oil change. The best part of ANA Auto is that they did the fastest oil change I've ever had. I highly recommend this place. I will be coming back for another oil change and any problems I might have. I went to Jiffy Lube prior to coming to ANA Auto. They try to charge me double what ANA Auto would charge.

My GF owns a 2007 Toyota Matrix that we took in for a transmission fluid flush. They gave us a great quote which totally beat all that dealership bs. They also informed us of our cracked belt, over filled oil tank, and underfilled brake fluid.
We decided to get the our belt changed as well and everything took about 35mins. They used factory Toyota fluid which i'm very happy about. They took care of all the other issues at no extra charge. They were very informative knowledgeable people who answered all of our questions.

Because I work at a car manufacturer, I am very particular when it comes to car service. So when it came time to service my car that's out-of-warranty, I called several places around Anaheim to get quotes. I found Ana Auto Lube by searching through yelp for oil changes in the Orange area with the best rating. The owner was very polite and honored the coupon amount even though I didn't bring it in.
I knew that I was overdue with getting my front brakes done which he pointed out as well as showing me what shape my rotars were in. His prices and customer service won me over and I decided to have then done there.

Took my dad's car in here for an oil change. No up-selling. No-nonsense type of attitude. You ask them to do an oil change, they say ok and get on it right away. They see a filter it not so great condition, they show you and ask if you want that replaced.
This place gets things done and done right. No hassle, no bs. Fix the car, get in get out. While I was there, it seems some of the customers have been duped by previous mechanics crappy jobs. From what I overheard, it wasn't a bad deal to fix given its condition.

Not recommend this place. They are big thieves. If you don't have any knowledge about your car, they will rip you off. They charged me $120 just for draining and refilling transmission oil. Also, the owner gave me $500 quote for 90,000 miles service and another $370 for unbranded tire replacement. I would recommend you guys to take quotes from different places and then get your car serviced. It's very difficult to find a good mechanic.

First and foremost, Al displays such great customer service and carries the business well. Standard oil change is 19.99 but my car requires a cartridge filter and 5 quarts of oil and totaled under $30. He did recommend a new air filter, showed me the wear and tear and ASKED if he could replace it. I obliged when he gave it to me at cost. Didn't try to tack on any additional services or upsell any product. He said, "I just want to serve you and keep your car running good". I highly recommend his service and you can't find better prices for what you get.

Before I even got out my car they were at the door asking what I needed done and broke it down to girl terms for me. It took less than an hour to run a diagnostic test and to charge the a/c for a great price! Will be going back for my oil change there since I know they Wont try to up sale me for something i dont need. Very friendly there didn't even have a stress moment about the money!

I drove from Washington and needed my oil changed by the time I reached the area. Looked for a place to change my oil and went here based off other reviews on Yelp. When I got here, they were very hospital and friendly. Made it really comfortable for especially since this was the first time I had gotten my oil changed by myself. Did a full inspection aside from the oil change and even showed me why my oil change cost a little bit more than usual. (Have a VW that requires an entire piece to be removed along with a lot of screws.
All in all, great experience and will base my expectations for other places in the future on ANA.

i drove in from san diego to buy a used car from a small auto dealership in the anaheim area. i wanted to get a 2nd opinion on the overall mechanical condition of the car for some reassurance but i didnt know of any good mechanics in the area. so took to yelp for some advice. 4.5 stars and 122 reviews made it an easy decision. that being said, the service i received was beyond my expectations. id send my mom here alone. it was just after 10am and the place was already busy. the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Al was taking care of me on this day.. i was told it would be an hr/hr and a half wait before my car would be inspected. i explained to Al that i was in a bit of a rush in order to finish the deal on the car and make it back to san diego in time for work. he agreed to have my car seen next AND personally explained the findings to me. he even went over pros and cons of the car considering the price and financial info i had given him. Al gave me his honest opinion on the car even though it wasnt what i wanted to hear, let it go and hold out for another. and come to find out, thats exactly what i should have done :( the car was already experiencing issues on the drive home. anyway, if youre in the area and in need of an honest mechanic where you'll get all the bang for your buck, go to ana auto lube and tune. and thanks again Al, for the great service. much appreciated!

I went to ANA Auto Lube a few days ago and got an oil change for my 2010 Toyota Corolla. I was super happy with how quick they were able to get my car in and how nice everyone was. I typically take my car to the Toyota dealer and always feel like they are lying to me about what my car needs. The last time I took my car to the dealer, they told me I needed to change all my fluids, etc. This time at ANA they didn't even mention a thing about that. I did have some filters changed, but they showed me how filthy they were. I really appreciate the honesty at this place...

The service here is great, and the mechanics get work done in a timely manner. They even tried to reproduce an inconsistent error in my vehicle where it randomly wouldn't start (I later found out the connection with the battery was loose and occasionally wasn't making contact well.) What I particularly like about this place is that the owner will make an effort to bring you into the shop and show you what they are doing to your car and explain why they are doing it. There's no mysteriousness or ambiguity regarding what they are doing with your vehicle, and they charge fair prices for their work.

I'd been meaning to take my car in for while due to a long high pitched noise coming from the engine when I turn on my car in the morning. I suspected it had to do with a belt, so I came here on my day off when I found this place had great reviews and was close to home. I talked to Al over the phone and he had thought it was the belt too and told me to come on in. I needed an oil change too, which was very cheap, and he offered to check the noise for free. Just needed to tighten the belt and at no charge. Turned out the transmission oil needed a change soon and I had some dirty filters too, which I already suspected. Needed a little more tuneup than I expected, but I'm confident that I paid much less than I would've at my dealer. Al was very friendly and assured me that I'm good for another 30 thousand miles on the transmission. He even found the parts number I needed to buy replacement wheel caps online and offered to install them for only $5 next time. 2 hours later, I'm a happy customer with an honest local auto repair shop.

I wish I could give this location 5 stars but I can't. I really wanted too but here's why. I had my brakes done on my Infiniti G35 and I advised Victor that the light was on for the tires and wanted them checked to make sure they didn't have slow leaks. Well, I got a call, telling me the car was done so before I hung up, I told the person who must have been the owner if the tires were okay? He told me that they do a an inspection over eevrything to make sure everything is okay. Well, the brake light was still on, Victor only checked the air pressure but didn't inspect the tires for nails. Want to know how I know this? Because A) He told me that's all he did and B) I checked the tires for leaks and found a screw in my rear tire. So I had to fix my own tire on the weekend after this guy said he checked for everything. The 2nd issue was that the windshield fluid light turned on immediately. It would have been nice to have the fluids topped off like they said they would. Would I go back, sure but I would hope that what they say they do, they actually do. As for Victor, this guy is careless and is costing you business.

My truck was serviced here for an "oil change" and instead I have a dead truck! I the old saying goes " you get what you pay for & never trust nobody" now my beautiful truck is dead & we have to settle with buying another one. The owners said they weren't at fault & basically we get stuck still making payments for a dead truck.

So glad I found this place on yelp. I decided to give it a shot as I was over due for an oil change and all the other reviews were good. Arrived at 11:10 (on my lunch) asked if they could do a quick oil change. They said sure they would have it done asap. I was on my way at 11:40. I had a coupon I printed from their website $12.95 oil change plus $3 haz waste fee. With tax total was $16.95 far less than I usually pay for Jiffy or EZ lube. This place is far more conveniently located for me, quick service, best price. I will be back.

The one thing that really caught my eye about this place is that they are very friendly! I've never been to a place where they truly seem to care about the customer other than this one. They give suggestions as to what should watch out for in your car, but they aren't pushy about selling their wares. I definitely will be returning next time I need an oil change.

So today my car was broken down on the side of the road because it started to smoke. I was panic'd and nervous because I was on my way to work and I didn't know what to do. I then turned to Yelp and came across a bunch of mechanics, all of them could careless of my situation and told me they were closed. I kept searching until finally I stumbled across ANA Auto Lube N Tube and I spoke to a really nice man name Al. He was very helpful and caring of my situation. After talking to him for a few minutes he was able to get my a tow truck (John with Golden Star tow, who was great) to come pick up me up off the side of the road and drop me off at his shop. Al kept his shop open longer just so I could drop off my vechicle. I was able to get a friend to drop me off to work, so all was good. I'm just waiting to find out whats going on with the car and how much everything is going to cost me. Al told me that I'll give me a good deal and a reasonable price. I am so thanfkul for him and John at Golden Star towing aswell without them I would stiil probably be stuck on the road. I highly reconmend them if you come across a situation like mine.

I decided to give this place a try because I didn't want to drive far to my usual Oil Change spot. I gave them a call and Al gave me a quote for the oil change. He uses a Shell/Chevron based Semi-synthetic oil, which is better than a standard oil, but not fully synthetic. He also said he would throw in a free 18 point inspection. So I came by and he was very attentative. He took down my information and I asked him "How much is a tire rotation?" It was taking him a while to answer because he was writing stuff down so I said "$10?" He said, "Sure, I think it's a little bit more, but we can do it for $10." So I went to grab a bite at Angelo's (great burger joint right next door) while they were getting this done. I came back and Al said, "I wanted to show you some recommendations about your car." So I came around and he showed me my battery, corrosion and everything. He also showed me the dirty air filter I had, and a small, tiny leak from my water pump. He said "I can do the battery cleaning for $10, the air filter for $20 which will improve your gas mileage, and make sure you watch your temperature when you drive. It's a small leak, but always watch your temperature and keep water/anti-freeze at all times." He didn't even pressure me to get the water fixed. I said, "No thank you, I'll pass." He was fine with it, but he asked "Do you know how to clean the battery?" I said, "Yeah, my dad was a mechanic so he showed me a trick." He said, "good, as long as you can clean it then the battery should be fine." As we were walking towards the cash register, he waived to the mechanic to clean the batter and said, "You know what, we'll take care of it, it's a quick clean. Free of charge." He also topped off the washer fluid for my windows. Now I don't know about you guys, but I've never had service like this at an Auto Repair shop. It was like Nordstrom service. I told him I'll definitely be coming back here and telling my friends about this place. Give it a try once and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Wow, I hate to be the lone dissenter here, but I had an awful experience with this place. Not sure if I went on a bad day, or maybe they have changed ownership, but I will never be back. I usually take my car to Jiffy Lube or EZ Lube for oil changes despite the high prices just because their locations are ubiquitous and I pretty much know what to expect. I really dislike the way they upsell at those places though (No, I don't want to purchase an air filter), so I decided to browse Yelp for other suggestions. I came across the listing for ANA Auto, which happens to be just a few miles from where I live and was amazed by the glowing reviews and near perfect rating, so my boyfriend and I headed on over. When you pull in, the first thing you will notice are two large banners proclaiming "$19.99 oil change." We parked and were approached by a gentleman with a notepad. He proceeded to ask my boyfriend's name and phone number, then asked how we had heard about this place. "Yelp" I stated proudly. My boyfriend said we were here for an oil change. The gentleman asked my boyfriend what type of oil filter my car uses. (Umm, isn't HE supposed to know this, or at least look it up?) We didn't know, so the gentleman informed us that it would be $29.99 minimum for the oil change if my car had a "canister filter" and an additional 10 dollars if it needed more than 5 quarts of oil. So now I am looking at a 40 dollar oil change?? Really? I have been changing my oil religiously every 3,000 miles since purchasing it 2 years ago - and have never been told any of this. My boyfriend looks around at the blaring "$19.99 oil change" signs and asks the man about them. The man looks uncomfortable and states that this is only the base price for 5 quarts of oil, and informs us that the majority of cars actually need more than 5 quarts. So we say "thanks, but no thanks" and start to walk away. The man yells to us that he will do it for $19.99. Hmmm, so he could have done it for this price all along, but was trying to scam us into paying double?? Nice business practices. Needless to say we left and took the car elsewhere for the oil change. I should have just gone to Jiffy Lube.

Close but no cigar. NIce guys and cheaper than Honda but some things you can do yourself and save much more money. I got a $230 parts and labor quote on an easy installation that I found I could do myself for $50. Do your homework, you may be able to fix it yourself.

Great shop. Seemed very honest. Went in for an oil change (engine, trasfer case, and diff.).... Told me of some things they thought should be looked at more closely, but did not push or B.S.me to try to do it then, or to even be done by their shop. It was more informational for me to decide what I wanted to do and when. They even did a little extra at no cost to me. Very cool.. Will be going back for oil changes and repairs when needed.

I had to replace the oil in the summer, so I made some research in my area. And I picked this place intuitively. Never regret) the service is awesome, you can get nice discounts and the job gets completed very fast. Long story short, Al (the manager) is the third person I've brought my car to. At first I thought I had a faulty oil pressure sensor, but it turns out I have an electrical short somewhere. Al offered me a ride home while I waited on the car, which isn't common at all and was very cool of him. I declined, because I happen to have a coupon for Lyft, but I digress. After looking it over for about five hours, they give me a call and let me know what's up with my car. Instead of lying to me and saying I needed X-Y-and-Z repaired, they tell me they don't have the equipment to fix what was wrong. Not only that, but he gave me the number to another shop that he knew had the equipment that was close by and closer to my price range than going to the dealership. Don't get me wrong, it's kind of disappointing to hear that someone can't help you, but it sure is nice having someone be honest with you. After all that, he didn't charge me for the diagnostic because they weren't able to fix it, which is normally $50. Definitely a relief. I'll be bringing my car back here when something non-computer-related breaks down on it. haha Thanks guys!
