I could not be happier with the customer service and quality of work performed on my classic vehicle. I had the pleasure of speaking with Paul, the co-owner. Communication was great as I knew nothing about exhausts. He walked me through every step of the process and had the foresight to ask questions about the use of the 4x4 vehicle and future equipment such as tire size and heavy-duty bumpers.
Upon completion, he took the time to explain every detail of what was done to the vehicle and reviewed the receipt for 100% transparency. I was amazed at how quick the turnaround was and how low the cost was.
Make sure you go to the Park Street (RT 27) shop. I had the pleasure of working with Paul, but felt comfortable with everyone there.

Being a girl, car shops tend to try and take advantage over typical female oblivion when it comes to cars. I can honestly say that these guys are genuine! I called the shop and was able to bring my '03 VW jetta in right away, which was perfect. I already knew what was wrong with my car, what it needed and about how much it was going to cost me. I was very pleased to see that the guys checking over and working on my car, did not try to sell me on anything it did not need, or overcharge me.
I had recently bought the car, and the hood latch was broken, along with a broken flex pipe and one of the tail pipes missing. I had suspected the car needed new motor mounts, but with all of the above wrong, it was very hard to tell for sure. While the car was on the lift, one of the guys showed me how much the engine was moving, and that the car had already blown through two or three flex pipes, because of bad motor mounts. I understand they don't do this work here, but he was still very honest about everything and while my mounts do not need to be replaced immediately, he did warn me that I could blow through this flex pipe much quicker if it isn't dealt with.
I was in and out in less that 45 minutes, the price was great, 2 year warranty on all the parts and work done, and the staff is honest and friendly. I will continue to bring my cars here!

Quality work at fair prices! That's the trademark at LOU'S. I've had exhaust and brakes installed on a couple of family cars and I've always been pleased. I've brought friends to see Paul W. The owner, who I think knows almost everything about exhausts. They always treated me fair and reasonable. Again I highly recommend this shop.

Lou's has now done exhausts on 3 of my trucks and they have all looked and sounded great! The one time I did have a cosmetic issue with my chrome tips they were replaced no questions asked 7 months after they were installed. This is the kind of service you just don't get anymore. Great work to the team at Lou's and I will be back with my next truck purchase.

So happy with Lou's! I came in here after having a horrible experience with Firestone the week before, and then being quoted from NTB for a complete exhaust replacement, telling me "oh no this MUST be replaced, it can't be welded". I knew I was being taken advantage of, and after reading the reviews for Lou's, I brought my car in on the way to work. The first person I talked to was very nice. I showed him a photo of what happened to my exhaust, and he immediately said no problem, I can fix that right now. It cost me 1/5 of what NTB quoted me, and took less than 30 minutes. I was back on the road with no problems, so quickly. Thanks so much!

Sometimes in life you meet people who put every ounce of their soul into what they do. Such is the case at Lou's Custom Exhaust in Stoughton. These guys are just awesome, a family team who cares and helps each other out. Took my 65 impala in to upgrade the mufflers and pipes, I have never heard anything so sweet.........
I dont often publicly display someones logo or ad but when I am at the car shows this summer Lou's logo will be proudly displayed on my ride. Talk to Paul (lou was his uncle) he will give you some options and even gave me a listen to the mufflers before welding them in.

These people know what they are doing! The parts Lou's ordered for my car got held up at a warehouse so instead of waiting for delivery next day one of the guys personally went and got them because I needed my car that night. I have brought multiple cars to Lou's and every time I leave satisfied. If you need exhaust work done this is the only place to go, they are friendly, knowledgeable, and very fair. They deserve your business.

I went here today on my lunch break. I thought I had lost a clamp as part of my exhaust was hanging down (but rattling -still connected). They got me in right awa y(I had no apt and they were busy) and spent about 15-20 mins fixing it. I was actually nervous at first as I saw the mechanic with the blow torch as I thought it was just a bolt- In any case he came out and told me it was just the heat plate (or something) and I was all set. He did not even charge me! I will go back to them whenever I need something and I will refer anyone I can !

I was referred here by Rob at Sun Stoppers down the road. Best decision stopping by. Brought my 07 Wrangler Unlimited by hoping to get a Flowmaster 40 installed (only because I'd heard of other people doing it). Paul told me that while he'd be happy to do that, there were other, less expensive options that would give me better performance and better sound.
He got my Jeep up on the list and then basically let me design my own custom setup. I went with a Lou's SS freeflow then straight back to a nice sized stainless tip. He gave me a quote (VERY fair pricing) and I thought for sure he would bring it down off of the lift and give me a time to come back. Nope! Had his guys get to work on it right away, and about an hour later my Jeep came off of the lift with a nice throaty rumble and a much better looking tip.
How much did it cost? Exactly how much he said it would. No extra charges for labor, parts, etc. The same price he said before we even got started. Hard to find in this business. DEFINITELY recommend!

If your having any muffler, or exhaust problems I highly recommend this shop. They are friendly, nice and most importantly fair. My car needed a muffler and one shop quoted me 500.00, I went to Lou's and had it done for 300.00. I waited while they did the job, it took less than a hour! I won't go anywhere else, and neither should you.

These guys are the flippin' best! I can safely say I have never felt better leaving a garage. I was actually referred to this awesome shop by another great mechanic (who shall remain nameless) and I am so glad I went. I had received two other quotes before going to Lou's and the guys at Lou's were able to fix everything at an unbelievably reasonable rate. Seriously, they saved me hundreds of dollars. Not only did they fix my car without ripping me off, they took me under there showed me, and successfully explained what was actually wrong with it, and then when I came to pick it up, a mere half an hour later, they showed me how they had fixed it. To top it off there is a two year warranty on the work I had done! So while everyone else was telling me to replace my whole exhaust system, which would've cost upward of $1,000, these guys fixed what needed to be fixed without wasting, time money or materials! Super helpful, super nice and super great!

Just had new exhaust installed on my dodge pick up and was blown away from the work that was done. I feel like I'm driving a whole new truck. The guys are awesome, honest, and funny as heck. Showing me options of what needs to be done and what upgrades are possible. They are artists in the way that fab exhaust. Don't think twice,, just go here. My whole family now goes and are very pleased. The strongest point was actually showing me while truck was on the lift as the common man does not normally get that point of view of their vehicle.

I brought my car in for a fix on rusted exhaust pipes. Tim who worked there was knowledgeable and explained clearly what he will fix/replace the rusted section of the exhaust pipes. The price was reasonable and workmanship was great, plus 2 year warranty! I'm very satisfied and highly recommended Lou's C.E. in Stoughton. The Lou's in Quincy is ridiculous, they told me to replace all kind of parts of the exhaust system which (in good stainless steel condition) do not need to be replaced and will cost me over $1K. They didn't want to do the necessary work.

My 2009 car suddenly started to sound like a motorcycle the last couple weeks. Embarrassingly loud, raspy exhaust that got worse and worse. Pedestrians would turn and look at what was making the noise. I took it to a dealership who told me it would be minimum $800, maximum $1300, and they didn't have the required parts in stock. They estimated one week wait for parts, and a full day in the shop, and loaner vehicles were booked two months out. Depressed, I left and went home. I googled around, trying to figure out where to go for a second opinion. Lou's was close, and they had almost unbelievably good reviews on Yelp and Google. I figured it was worth a shot. Within 5 minutes of arriving, my vehicle was on a lift being looked at. Within 10 minutes, they had me under the vehicle, showing me exactly what was wrong, and presenting options on how to fix it. One option was a $25 weld. The other was a $100 partial pipe replacement with the associated welding. After being reassured that welding was perfectly strong, would pass inspection, etc., I said "go for it." Total investment, 20 minutes and $25, and the vehicle is back to sounding like new. Un-freakin-believable. And these were younger guys who took care of me, not the owners. I got no special treatment, I have no connections, not friends with anyone, just walked in off the street on a Saturday morning. I'm sure not everyone will get resolution as quickly or as affordably as I did, but the least I can do is give them a shout-out here. They made my week, and I can count the number of times I've said that about any kind of car place on one finger. You owe it to yourself to visit these folks for anything exhaust/muffler related.

If you really want to fix any parts of your exhaust system and not be ripped off and get it done professionally then go to this place. I had my pre cat oxygen sensor threads striped in the pipe and they fixed it at no time at a very good price. Very nice folks down there! Highly recommend to all car enthusiasts especially to BMW folks out there on the boards, who are tired of being ripped off at the stealer oh sorry dealer

Facing the prospect of replacing the entire exhaust system on my 1997 Infinity I30, instead I went to Lou's Custom Exhaust and had an excellent experience. They put the car on the lift, and explained that the issue was a rusted out flange connecting the exhaust pipe to the muffler, and that they could splice in and weld a custom connection to salvage the system. They solved my exhaust issue within 30 mins for under $100, saving me the cost of a complete replacement! These guys are very courteous and professional, and do an outstanding job!
