These guys are your basic "shade tree mechanics". I've had mixed results. They are OK for simple things - belts, batteries, maybe even a starter motor, etc. Anything more complex, you're better off taking it elsewhere or you'll get ripped off. I agree with the earlier post that the positive reviews all sound like they were written by the same person reading from an advertising script.

I've been taking my vehicles here for many, many years. The mechanics seem knowledgable and all of the employees are very courteous and friendly. I feel like I get honest recommendations from people I trust. They do their best to make things convenient for me. They give me rides when needed and will always get me in when it works best for me - they're open til 7:30 on Wednesdays which helps a lot! They guarantee their work and always seem to have coupons, special deals and/or rebates available. I recommend Swansons Auto Service to everyone I know!
