I was referred to Rising Sun by a coworker who's into Japanese cars, as the only shop he'd trust to touch his Nissans and Hondas. I recently purchased a 1987 Nissan 300ZX, and it was in dire need of some repairs that were a bit out of my personal wheelhouse.
After calling and contacting many shops, Rising Sun was the only shop that treated me well and understood my requests clearly.
Barb, Jennifer, Joe and Harold all took their time to not only do an in-person inspection of the car with me, and were patient while parts were being delivered.
I couldn't be happier with the service, pricing of repairs, and quality of the work. I would recommend anyone who owns a Japanese vehicle (or VW and Audi) to use their services. Well worth the 40 minute drive from Cleveland. I won't be taking my ZX anywhere else.

Can you do zero stars? I made an appointment there, took a half day off work, drove 20 minutes, called to say I would be ten minutes late, and they said don't bother. They lost thousands in future business.

my family has a long standing tradition of buying hondas. i mean, you can run those things into the ground. they last FOREVER.
this is where we take our cars.
harold and his staff are now family friends. that's how great they are. an auto mechanic you can actually trust. who knew, right?
i actually went outside the box and bought a vw beetle several years ago. luckily, harold and the guys work on those too.
if you have a japanese or the like car, honda, toyota, etc...this is the place to go.
they even have a tally of the cars with the most mileage. i can't remember what the highest is, but i know my dad's old honda accord was well over 150,000 i think.
i could be wrong, but it definitely was A LOT of miles.
if rising sun can keep your car up and running for that many miles, they gotta be doing something right.
