I had my car at another shop in West Columbia they told me that I needed a new transmission so a friend told me about Automotive Experts so I could price around. so when I called and got a price they were almost 500 cheaper. so I had them pick my car up to do the transmission repairs when they got my car in they found that I didn't really need a transmission. Automotive Experts saved me over 1000 dollars! Thank you so much, you now have a lifetime customer.

The people are great, honest company, they do good work and use good parts. I had to take my car back a second time to get some kinks ironed out and they changed 2 bulbs and gave me an oil change for free. So glad I found this Place. This is exactly how business should be conducted. If I need any work done on my car in the future, that's where I'm going.

I write this review with mixed emotions. Automotive Experts were recommended to me by a friend of a friend who was very pleased with the repairs that were done on her car. She saved money and said her car was as good as new after the repairs. However my experience with Automotive Experts was not as great. I brought my 2003 Mercury Mountaineer for repairs in March, after going to the Ford dealership for a diagnostic. Ford wanted $3000 to fix all of the issues they said were wrong, and I am the type of person who will always get a second opinion, so I asked around and that's how I found out about Automotive Experts. I took my diagnosis from Ford which listed all of the things they said were wrong; I gave it to Wayne and he said he would have his mechanic check to see if I really needed all of the things Ford said I had to have. I was going to save $700 by letting Automotive Experts do the work, plus one thing Ford said I needed, Automotive Experts didn't have to replace. As you can imagine, I am very pleased with them before they even touch my SUV. I needed a new differential, bearings, tires, etc. I brought my vehicle to them on March 3rd, and they had it for about a week. When I got it back, it still had the same issues, but now it was shutting off on me when I would stop at a light which it wasn't doing before. They were nice and kind to me and told me to bring the vehicle back in. I don't remember all the dates, but I brought it back and they told me there was a hose that needed to be replaced. Once replaced, the SUV was still doing the same thing. Once again, I brought it back and they told me it needed a throttle body which they replaced and the vehicle was still doing the same thing. By now I am losing faith and want to take my vehicle back to Ford to see if they could get it right. I asked Wayne if he would be willing to reimburse me for whatever Ford charged me, if they had to fix something that was supposed to already have been fixed. He didn't say no, but he didn't exactly say yes either. He said to take it back to Ford and let him know either way it goes and he would see what could be done. By now three months have past and I am feeling very discouraged and tired of the back and forth. Needless to say, the day I took the car to Ford, they were very busy and couldn't see me that day and I didn't have an appointment. On Saturday, May 18 I ended up just trading in the SUV for another vehicle. My only regret is that I spent $2300 for nothing because it still wasn't fixed. I could've just traded it in and still had my $2300. For kindness and professionalism I would give Automotive Experts an A, but for service I feel they failed me and I can't in good conscious recommend them to anyone else...sorry!!!

I had my radiator hose replaced here i dropped off the car with out even scheduling an appointment, and they still fixed it the same day, very impressive most places i have to call a week ahead. My daughter bought a car from Auto Experts. The car had some problems which we knew about and were told that Automotive Experts would fix. After 3 trips to the shop and an estimate of over $800 we decided to fix the issue ourselves. The 3 trips to the shop: on the first we were told it was fixed, the 2nd we were told that they couldn't find anything wrong with it but the salesman said the fan was staying on longer than it should (they drove it a full weekend), on the 3rd trip is when we were told the radiator and fan needed to be replaced. We were told the car needed a new radiator and a new fan because the fan broke off and flew into the radiator causing damage to the radiator. Upon taking the vehicle apart we found NO damage to the radiator and NO damage to the fan. The ONLY issue we found was that the radiator needed to be flushed out because the anti-freeze in it was gelled and not circulating. I have contacted the salesman and sent pictures of the gelled anti-freeze to them and was told they would call me back but I haven't heard a word. I did give them 2 stars because we also bought our truck from there and have had no issues, but it doesn't take away the fact that we feel they were trying to scam us for repairs on my daughters car that didn't need to be done.

I had my wheels aligned here after getting new tires and noticed when I left, the steering wheel was pointing at a 1:00 position while driving straight but wasn't too concerned because I'm not that picky of a guy. I later realized the steering wheel shimmies when driving on smooth, level roads so I called them and was told it was because the tires were a little larger than the originals (they're not All-Terrain mud tires). But a month later I noticed the front left tire was going bald along the outer edge and this would have nothing to do with tire size. Brand new tire ruined, now have to replace a tire and get another alignment, but it won't be from Automotive Experts!
