Trey and his team were VERY professional, nice, helpful, reliable, and dependable. He had my vehicle done when he said it was going to be. That was very important to us to get our work van back on the road again so we could resume business. He answered the phone every time I called, I never had to leave a message. I have to say it was very refreshing doing business with somebody that knows great customer service. I am relieved to know we have found a local repair shop that we can send all 8 of our company vehicles and personal vehicles to as well. Will definitely refer Nott's Automotive to everybody I know. A sincere thank you to Trey and his team!!!

I highly recommend Notts to everyone. I made the mistake of going to the dealer for some repairs because I had a coupon for a free oil change. After agreeing to some work, all of a sudden they discovered some other things that needed to be done which included a part they wanted $552 which I was able to procure for $300 less. (Both, BTW, were rebuilt.) The dealer also misdiagnosed several other issues and estimated exorbitant charges. Im relatively new to Sarasota so I asked my real estate agents associate for an alternative/ a recommendation. Lucky me! She recommended Notts Automotive. Mr. Nott fixed all my car problems and I believe at a much fairer price. Ill never take my car to anyplace but Notts.

The folks at Nott's automotive are as honest, reliable, friendly and professional as they come. I brought my 2006 Expedition in for an intermittent issue I was having. They spent several hours of the course of two days troubleshooting and trying to replicate the issue. They were unable to replicate the issue I was having and their conclusion was that culprit could have been bad gasoline. They also informed me that my brakes were just fine, after Tire Kingdom told me that it was "urgent" that they be replaced. They refused to take any money from me for their time. If you are looking for a mechanic you can trust, you couldn't ask for a better shop than this. I recommend them to everyone I know in the area.

Honest and thorough! With auto repair rates creeping up on $100/hour at most any shop these days, it's nice to find mechanics who will actually go the extra mile. It's pretty easy to find dishonest mechanics who will overcharge, and round up to the next hour, so they can get the extra money. When you find a place where a one hour labor charge equals one hour of hard work (or more), that's where you want to take your car. After my first visit to Nott's Automotive, I can honestly say that I trust these guys.
