I'm not sure if it was coincidence or not, but I took my car in for an $800 repair and I ended up needing almost another $3200 in additional repairs that happened one repair at a time. Every time my car left Joe's, it would break down within a week and I had to take it back in for another major purchase (5 in total). Had Joe's told me what the total cost would have been to fully repair my car (instead of just what was wrong at that particular moment), I wouldn't have opted to repair my $5000 vehicle (for what ended up being a total if $5200 between Joe's and another mechanic); I would have simply used that money as a down payment on another vehicle; but alias, that didn't happen; Joe's got about $4k out of me before I decided to stop brining it back. My vehicle still doesn't sound/drive right, it sounds like someone screwed something up; but I don't want to take it back to Joe's because I fear that I'm going to continue to have to pay for repairs that might not have either been needed or might not have been there prior to me taking it in. As I stated, this could all be coincidence; but I'm thinking that is a stretch (as in all my years, I've never had an experience like this). To avoid the issue, I'll simply take my car back to the bigger repair shops that seem to get it all in one swoop; where my car never feels/drives like crap after.

I have an 82 Diesel Westfalia Vanagon and needed a custom exhaust to be built for it. you just don;t buy off the rack exhaust systems.... Simply said... Bob is a master with his welding stick and he produced a first class job. I will tell my friends in the Vanagon community that JOE'S and the crew could have not been more accommodating at a fair price!

I brought my 2005 Honda Pilot in this morning and they were able to diagnose my problem and replace the faulty part before 9:30am! This isn't the first time I've been to Joe's (and definitely won't be the last), and they are always happy to help and provide great service. Also, there is wifi in the waiting room if you need it.

Took my car to Joe's Automotive in Kingston...he gave me a made up diagnosis on my timing belt. I told him I had a 400.00 limit and to my surprise...when I went to pick up my car the bill was 1600.00! He is now holding my car hostage and asking for 800.00 plus the title to the car. He never notified me concerning the issue of going over my limit which I would have been able to negotiate up to 800.00 from money borrowed from a friend. Now I have no car to get to work and will more than likely lose my job. I will NEVER take my car there again because he is keeping it of course. I will tell all my friends of my experience and they will tell their friends and so on. As I share my experience I have been told of others terrible experiences as well. Say NO to Joe's Automotive.
