I took my 2003 Pontiac Montana to David Matula not knowing what was wrong with it and as it turned out there was more wrong with it than I wanted to invest in further. What he charged me was very reasonable and he did a good bit of work to find the problem. I'm happy with the outcome and would recommend David and Christie and I will be a return customer as well

This man ripped us off. After having our vehicle for over a year as well as 3800$$$ he did NOT do a dang thing to repair anything. We kept calling and calling but nothing. We even stopped in several times to check on the vehicle and the progress made. But once again NOTHING. this family rips people off. Sad thing is, we came to hear that he ripped another family off for 1,400 not to long ago. These people are thefts and need to be shut down. His license needs to be taken away. We make sure EVERYONE knows not to ever go to this man. oh, also. If you look up his wife's name, they have been sued several times for ripping people off. Since the business is in her name.

If I could give less stars I would. The reason they are being ranked so poorly is because of their customer service. I got new tires and brakes there. I have a pretty open schedule so I was able to make almost anytime they needed to bring the car in. I brought the car in at 8 am and was told at 4 that they were unable to get it done due to them being busy. I brought it in 3 more times that week, each with a different excuse, before it was finally completed. That, however, was not enough for me to write a review. The tires I purchased started having issues with wet traction a couple months later. I called them and they didn't answer, it happens. I decided to stop by on my way home from work, they said they were busy currently but would try and find a time later that day and that they would call me. Never got that call. About a three weeks later i decided to try again and called them, this time getting through. They told me they would call me back with an appointment time. Never called. I went by and set one up in person. Showed up at the scheduled time and had my car test driven. They agreed there was something wrong with the tires' performance. They said they would call me later that day with an update, I repeated "So you'll call me today?" They agreed. Never called. I called them the next day and got their voicemail. I left a message to call me back. Never got that call. Waited for another day and called again, voicemail. "Please call me back." No call. I gave them two days and called for the third time and got their voicemail. I left a slightly more stern message to call me back. Never called. I went in to see what was going on. I asked the lady if I had the wrong number, which I knew I didn't. She said that she had gotten my messages but had forgotten to call me back since there were so many messages. She said she would keep me in the loop since I was leaving the state in a short period of time and needed these tires inspected. She said she had talked to the tire manufacturer and they were sending out a rep to check the tires. I waited a week to hear back from them. Never called. I called the tire people myself to see where this was at. The tire people told me that they don't send reps to check the tires. The tire people also told me that they didn't directly sell tires to Matula. I gave them the phone number for Matula so they could handle the matter. The tire people called me back and told me there was no answer but they left a message and that they would keep me informed. I decided to drive over to Matula to see what was going on. Thursday at 3 PM they were closed. I have little to no faith that they will communicate with me prior to me leaving the state. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with a company. The actual work they did, minus the faulty tires, was up to standard. I recommend you take your car elsewhere in Pensacola.

Wonderful service, great repair and maintenance! Arranging drop off and pick up was a breeze, and they were very accommodating--they picked my car up and dropped it back off to my house!!! Amazing! Thank you!

After multiple trips over several years to different mechanics in Foley and Pensacola (including a trip to the dealerships in each city) I brought my Truck to Matulas. He had to keep it awhile but finally got my truck running nicely. He spent time debugging and figured out the issue. I would highly recommend.
