I took my BMW to Auto Technica a few weeks ago. He is very trustworthy mechanic and an honest man. I drove all the way from Chico to Sunnyvale for him to check out my car. He is the best and he will be my number one mechanic. Hurry to him !!

If I could give this place six stars, I would. Paul and Massis provided honest and excellent service when my car broke down. I have USAA insurance, and they keep close tabs on who they do business with. My car had to be towed, and Autotechnica was on their approved mechanics list. Paul was friendly and helpful, Massis offered an honest and thorough explanation of the problem. They could have really run up a huge bill given my situation, but instead gave me sound advice. I will use only them from now on. GREAT SHOP.

Let me tell you about what I experienced earlier this year (2010) at Auto Technica, Inc at Sunnyvale, CA. On Feb. 9, I had a smog test there. It passed. No problem there. On Feb. 10, I noticed that my engine warning light lit up. On Feb. 11, I took my car to Auto Technica just to make sure if anything they did during the smog test might have caused the warning sign to light up. Well, they tested it electronically with their fancy equipment, and they said that the oxygen sensor went bad. It would cost about $350 with everything (parts + labor + tax). But I wanted to have a second opinion, so I took my car to some other place. The mechanic at the other place hooked up a probe and punched a few keys, and the warning sign went away. He did not charge me anything. So even though Auto Technica has nice equipments, shop and office, they are nothing but a thief. Beware of this place.
