I was a loyal customer until the manager recommended a repair that they had already done a few months prior. When I confronted him about the issue, he initially disagreed with my assessment and then back peddled. On top of this, I have taken my car to two other repair shops who both identified the same issues that VA Automotive did to my car. Literally they used wrong parts... This place gives repair shops a bad name. Its a disgrace to auto mechanics.

Best service in my 45 years of driving!!! My husband and I were traveling through Virginia and experienced car problems. He called Virginia Automotive and explained our predicament. Stacy had us bring the car in immediately! She welcomed our dog into the waiting area and our car was put in the front of the queue. She brought water to our dog and offered us snacks. Within 1.5 hours we were back on the road. If I lived in Richmond, I would be a regular customer.

Virginia Automotive were very helpful when my car broke down on the Interstate. They were very kind and helpful, and got me out of their shop and on my way to within two hours. I appreciate very much their careful attention and their dedication to servicing my needs along with my car. Great people!

First of all if you go here you may as well go to the dealer! The service does not balance out with the prices. They send out coupons/rewards and offer financing to get you in. When I go in for regular maintenance they always find something that needs to be fixed. My car is fairly new, whenevr i dont take them up on their offer to fix things, I end up back there the next day with a different problem. I don't believe in too many coincidences. I think they intentionally break things so you can bring your car back. And even when the mess up things on accident they give you a hassle and find some portion for you to still have to pay.

Did not fix what i came in for, an overheating problem. They made the wrong diagnostic and it crippled my wallet for a good while. They left me with a broken car so I ended up needing to buy a newer car. If I had known they were fraud, my money could have been used for other needed things. They have a front face but on the back end, they're waiting to screw you over, so take caution. They either don't know what they're doing or they are liars. Either way, it will cost and cripple the consumer. They caused me more stress than anything else in life. The visit really destroyed my life for a bit.

When you have radiator fluid that exploded all over the hood and bumper of your car, it shouldn't cost $89 for a diagnostic. After they quoted me $900 for a radiator replacement, and I told them I would go elsewhere, they lowered it to $650 magically. When I told them I would have my car towed away, they offered to buy it off of me, because they realized the part only cost $180 and it would run other than that. They were trying to take advantage of somebody in a desperate situation, and I still saved $150 AFTER towing to another shop, and having the necessary work performed for $392. Not to mention I asked them to leave my car unlocked to have it towed, which they left it locked, with no key in it, and paralleled between a pole and another car. Filthy, disgusting business practice - I hope they use that spare key to steal my car one day so I can get a new one though.

Awesome auto repair shop! The receptionist was extremely polite and listened to all my concerns and they gave me an honest estimate . They didn't push me to have unnecessary work on my vehicle either. The most honest repair shop I've ever been to. I'll never go anywhere else!
