I was having a little trouble trying to find a trustworthy mechanic to work on my mustang but , after doing some browsing on the web I ran into powerlab motorsport. So I decided to give it a try & its was the best thing I could have done with my mustang. They have fair prices they are honest & will point you in the right direction when it come to what's best your mustang & how to achieve your goal! This is especially useful For someone like me who is barely learning about mustang performance its very beneficial to speak with mustang specialist so that they can guide me with the right build for my stang! Once again thanks guys I'll be back soon !!

I went to a car show at the Petersen Museum and I noticed a fantastic Mustang and picked up the business card for Powerlab. Theirs was the only card I decided to pick up that day. I own a 2004 5 speed Mustang GT which I purchased new from a Ford dealer in the valley. I know some dealers can hose you, so I proceeded with caution. For 11 years I had no problems ...until this year when the service advisors changed. I was told I needed a new clutch and, instead of having it towed 30 miles home, I decided to let them fix it. It wound up being the worst decision of my life. When I picked it up A WEEK LATER, it sounded like a Toyota Tercel. I raised the hood and found the coolant reservoir TOTALLY EMPTY.
It turns out I had a coolant leak after they'd flushed my radiator over a month before. I had a feeling my exhaust had been damaged. I took it back but they kept telling me there was no leak, and my exhaust was fine.
Although Powerlab wasn't close, after reading the on-line reviews and speaking with them by phone, I decided to take it there. I liked the fact that only 2 people would be working on my car. 2. That's it. They immediately found that the leak had never been fixed and I was able to come to the shop to see it for myself, which was appreciated.
By the way, I found the negative review quite strange. They charge a fair rate for labor and you're paying for their expertise. I'm willing to pay an expert who'll do the work right the first time. I demand good communication and customer service and I get both from Anthony and Mario. I've continued to take my car there ever since.

FINALLY, a place were the people are honest, fair, people friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Anthony and Mario are an unbeatable pair of excellent and precise engineers. I've taken my car to several different places just to be satisfied at best with the finished product. I am ecstatic to say my "baby" is finally in the hands of individuals who I can trust to do outstanding work. I've been blown away by the knowledge and background that these two posses and am fortunate that I've been pointed in their direction(thanks COMPTURBO). At this point I've taken my wife's 15 explorer sport to have an exhaust system installed and it looks as clean if not better than factory. I plan on sending my friend who just got a jeep SRT in there direction for a supercharger install and will be recommending these guys to all my friends who want quality work done.

As a woman it is hard to find a great mechanic that will actually fix the issue and not just rip you off. I was recommended by a friend of mine that had brought his car in many times before.
I decided to bring my car in because it was in need of new breaks. The guys were very professional and had my car ready in no time. As far as pricing goes, I always say you get what you pay for and in this case I payed for excellent car service. This will definitely be my go to place for all my car needs.

The owner Anthony Luna is incredibly rude, unethical and outrageously over priced. Charging at about $165 an hour, his inflated hourly rate is a joke!!! He refuses to work with you on finding low end or used parts so that he can charge his obscene prices. I have no idea how he lives with himself. He's a shame to the world. He took a look at my truck, dismantled it and quoted me a $1400 minimum "band-aid" repair. I decided to go elsewhere... Anthony said he could not put the two front wheels back on due to the damage/condition of one spindle. He also at this point refused his service to me. He charged me a $270 dismantling fee!! I towed my truck to another shop and was quoted a quarter of his $1400 price!!!!!!!
I'd like to add that Anthony has been working on my families cars for about 14yrs. He has no sense of loyalty or concern for others. I never expected any favors or discounts, I just wanted honest work. My dad went to Anthony for a 100,000 mile tune up, he charged him $9000 I cant even express my rage. My dad has been ill for a few years now so he's become a man of convenience. He went to Anthony because he thought he could trust him. It's a sad day when you discover the true nature of some people.
DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS.
FYI: The other reviews posted are from friends that are connected to the smog shop next door, of which he owns and rents out.

If you need performance parts and installation and high quality work this is the place to go. Custom fabrication and Mustang specialist. I found these guys from a buddy that has a mustang as well. This is my third time taking my BOSS 302 for hop up parts because I want to go faster but at the same time very safe with good quality parts. Anthony and Mario are very helpful before they touch my car we sit and talk and they explain very therally what I need to do the job right the first time. I also like that they keep their shop very clean and tidy. Thank you guys for hooking me up and giving me great deals

I have nothing but great things to say about the work Mario and Anthony have done on my car so far( because i will be going back as long as i own a mustang). They take the time to explain everything they are going to do in detail so you are not left wondering if you made the right choice or not. They worked with my budget and my time frame without hesitation. They are very professional people, whatever they said i should do they gave me the time to think about it without pressuring me a single second. They get to know you on a personal level instead of just looking at you like a paycheck. They also let me throw in my own two cents without giving me attitude, so don't feel afraid to suggest anything to them because in the end they will come up with the best solution i guarantee that! We have gotten pretty close as friends in the past few months they have had my car, and i am proud to call them friends, and amazing mustang gurus. Anything they replaced in my car was replaced with brand new bolts, washers, gaskets, you name it. So you will never have to worry about them being shady and just putting old crap back in your car that could cause issues(unless you demand them to put the old crap back in). All and all i love this shop and i love the work they have done on my car(just got it back today and it drives like it has 0 miles). I will never trust anyone else with my car ever again no matter how "reputable" they are, Mario and Anthony will forever have my business. So stop reading my review and take your car to them now!

Powerlab Motorsports did my suspension.. And the car drives like a dream. Ive had all my work done here since I first saw there awesome shop. from clucth and motor mounts to intake and suspension. I appreciate these guys so much they are good people and offer perrier to their guests.. Give old fashioned feel. I would recommend for any car related job... Good luck ! Over priced, rude and condescending. I was quoted 1400 at a minimum to have my car fixed. Anthony suggested I also redo the entire front end, a 2500+. So obscene! I took my car elsewhere and was quoted 400! DO NOT GO THERE! They don't care about you and they won't work with you. It's their way or the highway. HORRIBLE SERVICE!
