Great place and I have 100% confidence and trust with John Williams. Honesty in the auto industry is hard to find. John is a little stand offish at first meeting but once he warms up he is a great hard working man. You can feel comfortable with John working on you vehicle.

These are hard working guys who provide extremely professional service. What we like about John is that, though his days are busy, he takes time out of his day to make phone calls and keep us in the loop on his repairs. We've been trusting Valley Pacific for years to repair our vehicles. I highly recommend them!
UPDATE: I reduced our five stars to three. More than once, after we had work done and they informed us it was warranted, John would find excuses to not fix the problem. Our vehicle kept breaking down. The problem was in the work that John had performed, yet, John somehow always managed to absolve himself from the warrantee. Over the course of two years, it became exhausting. We gave up, chocked it up to money lost and found a different mechanic. I'm not sure if I trust this place anymore. Definitely hit and miss.

This is along time in coming.
Brought my 1990 Civic Si Hatchback in after I replaced all the suspension pieces with Spoon (JDM) parts, at great expense I might add. Also bought new wheels, tires, lug nuts etc.
Brought it here for 4 wheel alignment.
Well the Fat, Ham-fisted mechanic rounded all the nuts on the suspension scratched one of the wheels and made the lug nuts look like crap.
When I complained, I was told, we are not responsible, if you don't like it go somewhere else.
SOB, I wish my business was so good that I could tell people to basically F'off.
Fast forward four years, my wife took in her 2001 Acura CL Type S, new wheels, tires, lug nuts, etc. Guess what? I was out of town, she took it there based on recommendation, and needless to say, they SCREWED up AGAIN.
Scratched the wheel and the alignment is so crappy that the car pulls to the left like crazy.
Upon my return I took it to TRE Motorsports, and they asked if we had hit a curb full on, the alignment was that BAD.
SO PLEASE FOR YOUR PIECE OF MIND:
AVOID PACIFIC FRAME AND ALIGNMENT LIKE YOU WOULD THE PLAGUE.
THIS PLACE IS THE WORST.
I WOULD RECOMMEND PEP BOYS OVER THESE BOZO's

These guys fixed a problem that was driving me crazy! No other mechanic that I went to was able help me until I brought it to Valley Pacific Frame & Suspension. They did an excellent job, quick and affordable. They are friendly and professional. I will be going to Valley Pacific for any and all future repairs on my Mustang. The cats cute too!!

Alignments on lowered cars are getting harder and harder to have done these days!
Over the weekend I made some long overdue modifications to my Honda. Energy Suspension master bushing kit and SPC camber adjusting upper ball joint installation (the car has been lowered for a few years now). After changing so many bushings out, I knew my alignment was going to be off. I headed to a shop in Van Nuys that had aligned my car a few years back and they completely refused to work on my car. I guess at some point in time, they decided they'd no longer work on lowered vehicles. Okay, on to the next shop. I got a slew of "no's" and "against our policy" replies. I had been pointed to a shop in North Hollywood, but they were jam packed with clients and I had no intention of leaving my car for a few days.
I decided to ask my circle of friends and one immediately mentioned Valley Pacific. I got up nice and early and arrived at 8am. John greeted me and I told him what work I'd done and he only asked for a few hours. Easy enough. Called work to come pick me up and left the car in his hands. By lunchtime he called and said my car was done. I had told him I didn't need any aggressive settings as the car is daily driven and driven back and forth from SD to SFV on a weekly basis. He set my camber and toe up nice and went over everything with me and sent me on my way!
The drive is straight and solid now. My suspension upgrades along with this alignment really brought new found confidence to my 22 year old Honda!
Thanks Valley Pacific!

Our family trip to Disney took a turn when our van started overheating. Firestone continues to be a brand that we can trust in all locations. They were able to get us in immediately, were able to fix the problem with in stock parts and didn't try to up sell us. It was reasonably priced for the type of major repair we needed. I absolutely would recommend this store.

I have a 2009 Dodge Challenger SRT8, manual trany with only 13 k miles. I've never had it serviced (aside from oil changes) since owning it. I took my car in because my break pedal was beginning to pulsate while braking. I also took it in for a general service check up and oil change. I told them to fix or replace whatever was needed. Turned out I had a warping problem in the left front wheel. They said it was likely from overheating. They milled it and now I have zero pulsating... Nice work! They changed my oil and did a complete inspection. They told my due to the low mileage I did not require brakes or any other replacement parts. As we all know some businesses take advantage of customers by replacing parts not needed... They did not. Bottom line, they were friendly, professional, prompt, honest, and did excellent quality work. I would highly recommend there shop should you need their services.

Brought them my 1994 Ford camper van- on the recommendation of the shop foreman at Vista Ford. I wanted it to be more stable and firm on twisty, windy mountain roads and on rough, dirt roads.
John examined the van and we discussed several options in detail. He installed another leaf to the rear leaf springs, installed a Roadmaster kit, replaced bushings on the sway bars, tightened the steering box, did an alignment, etc.
Left the van with him on a Monday morning; picked it up Tuesday afternoon.
The difference in the way the van now handles is LIKE NIGHT AND DAY!! I now have a much better, safer van.
Highest recommendation.

Had to go here a few times this week because America's Tire kept fucking up my lug nuts and had me get them extracted at Valley Pacific.
I decided to get an alignment done after talking to John as my truck was sagging in the front and I would need an alignment after raising it back up.
I've never had an alignment done on any car I've previously owned, and I've been driving for two decades, so I have nothing to compare it too, but the price seemed fair and now my truck doesn't rub all over my new front tires.
John may come off as a little gruff, but heck, he's a mechanic: shouldn't you kind of expect that? I thought he seemed like a good guy overall and was happy to take the time to explain exactly what was going on with my truck to me - which is what I like.
There was a loose screw in my wheel well that I had been meaning to tighten up for a few days, and this had nothing to do with the alignment, but John (or maybe the assistant dude?) must of noticed it was loose while they were doing my alignment because someone tightened that puppy up. I thought that was a nice touch.
There was a friendly cat walking around the shop one of the days I was there as well. You got to figure if they're nice to some scraggly-ass cat, then they've got to be good dudes.

Place is legit. Friendly customer service, honest, and hard workers. They even have a shop cat that comes up and greets you.
Come in with your car problems, let them check it out and an hour or so later they will know what is up with your suspension/frame.
Mark helped me and he was well educated about what's going on with the car. I let him know what goodies I currently had and wanted to keep on the next install. Another plus, they call you to let you know of anything came up before they proceeded.
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to my peeps. Make sure you give them enough time to complete projects. If they say a day, give them 2 and you should be in the clear.
**helpful hint #1: use the yelp app, check in with your mobile phone. Show the 10% off at the end of the service and get a lower bill
**Helpful hint #2: down a car while yours is in the shop? Rent from Hertz around the block (they're open 24/7) and mention that your car is in the shop and they will hook you up with a lower rental rate. It's within walking distance, just go south on Deering ave, head west on Sherman, then north on Canoga. You should see it across the street on the corner of Canoga and valerio. ^.^

I took my MK6 GTI here for a coilover adjustment and alignment. They did the alignment fine-it drives nice and straight-but everybody working in there either completely lacked personality or was borderline rude (as many others have stated). They ended up charging me an extra $80 for little more than a little re-torquing, as my height measurements were exactly the same before and after. They did an okay job all things considered, but I'll definitely go elsewhere in the future. "Meh" pretty much sums up the service they provided.

I called in advance and spoke with Mark regarding my 08 Ford Focus needing motor and tranny mounts removed and replaced.I was able to get an appointment the next day. Mark and the owner Jim made me feel welcomed immediately. I grew up around gas stations and I can tell immediately if someone knows what they are doing or trying to BS me. Well what can I say, Mark knows what he is talking about, no questions asked! This place is legit! Plus leather sofa and classic rock while you wait and all the bottled water 1 man could possibly need. Also burger joints within walking distance. Are you kidding me?Hooray, I finally found the neighborhood mechanic that I feel I can trust. Yes, this place does it all, not just frame and suspension work.

There are not enough awesome things I can say about this place (namely Mark)! When it comes to mechanics and being able to actually TRUST and have a deep comfort of knowing your car is in the best hands, Mark & the company mechanics at Valley Pacific truly are a rare gem, among the auto repair shops out there. I've never had anyone go into such detail with me, as a customer, about the specified issue at hand to help me understand where & how things went wrong. Mark is an individual who loves what he does & throws all that love into his work....kinda like the way grandma does when she's making those famous dishes and cookies of hers & you can't help but smile and savor, knowing that her work is like that of none other. Thanks to this place, I'm a lifer

This is my Second visit here. Gotta love this place. Mark is the guy to come up to. My first visit was a custom alignment. (The old school Way with A ruler) They adjusted my rear with Negative Camber. These guys knoes what there doing. I just came back after a year for a regular alignment . We look at the Spec sheet nothing has change but just a lilttle bit of toe and that it. The work was on point!!!If your car is Stance/ Lowered. this place is the place to be. =)

These guys stand behind their work. I brought them a tough project with some aftermarket suspension components that they ended up having to install twice because some parts were missing in the kit. They were committed to getting it right and completed the job it at a reasonable price. One star off for the timing of the project.
ADD to the review, they recommended steering Rack bushing replacement on my Jeep and were completely right-on in their assessment, it drove much better after i recently got around to replacing them, thanks to Valley Pacific F&S for pointing it out.

A little bit of history:
I drive a MK5 GTI that just happens to be very temperamental when it comes to alignment. If the settings are not perfectly set, the steering is off and the car feels weird going down the road. I've gone through many different alignment shops and most could simply not get the steering straight. I have no idea whether it was lack of know how or just a sloppy job.
So onto the review. I recently had my tires changed and the tire shop did an alignment at the same time. Out of the shop the steering was off to the right and and subsequent visit did not resolve the problem, which brings me to Valley Pacific Frame & Suspension.
They did a great job of centering my steering. All specs were bang on and even on both sides. Some shops will adjust toe until it is within range. Valley Pacific adjusted toe perfectly to spec and evenly on both sides. My rear toe settings were also adjusted with the same precision. I did come back to have them dial out a little bit of toe in the rear but that was more of a precaution of mine. In any case they took it back on the rack no problem.
I dealt with Mike and he's just a great guy, very helpful. Good price and good work. My currently favored alignment shop.

This place is spot on! I've worked at man different shops over the years and when I first came in here I wasn't impressed. The place was typical, but hey what do you expect it's a auto shop right? That's until I met Mark. He's your man, bit of a devious jokester. We scheduled an appointment over the phone and when we finally met in person I was greeted and welcomed as long time buddy. This guy knew his shit...I have a Subaru STI and this guy aligned it with handling and practicality in mind. My car handles like a dream now! Never in my day have I met such a guy who knew his stuff like him. Very detailed oriented. If you a sports car and need quality work and explanations or any car for that matter! This is your place.

Yes the personality is a little dry here though bottom line they do, do good work and it's worth paying the extra $$$$$ to get the job done right. I could have gotten this done for $50.00 cheaper at this other location, though big deal, something like this you want it done perfect; and they were working on my Lamborghini. Overall very satisfied with job and they need a little help with social skills.

I have needed an alignment for far too long now, and have been procrastinating on getting it simply because every place I went for a quote was very shady. It is hard to find a place you trust !
Having owned a body shop before I asked everyone I knew that worked on cars where to go and everyone kept mentioning the same place...Valley Pacific.
I called in advance at 2:30pm and spoke to a very nice (and helpful) guy named Mark and asked if they had time to do an alignment and he said sure. I had just put new tires on the truck during lunch and it was puling real bad to the right side.
I got out of work 2 hours late at 4:30 and headed over to Valley. I figured there was no way anyone would help me so late. I was greeted by Jim who told me they would take care of it for me. Looking around the shop they had 4 cars getting alignments and 6 cars parked outside that had just been completed.
They had some amazing off-road vehicles being worked on as well as some high-end exotics which were cool to look at. I asked the guy doing the alignment how long he had been working at Valley, and he told me over 11 years! Wow
When the truck was done, I took it for a test drive and could not believe the difference in how well it drove.
I am extremely pleased with the work.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff too. This is a real shop with true professionals...just by looking around the shop you can tell it has been around for a very long time. Even new the truck didn't drive in straight line. Thanks so much guys!

Honesty, integrity, professionalism. These attributes define my experience that I had at Valley Pacific. I came in for a simple alignment and they explain to me exactly what was going to happen and was upfront with the price . They noticed a few other things that I had to address as they were concerned more for my safety then to making an extra dollar. I appreciated the Camden s of Mark and his team in dealing with the issues for my vehicle both past present and future

I am a former pro auto mechanic, who still does much of the work on my family and friend's cars, but some things, like frame and alignment work, require equipment I no longer have access to. I've been bringing my personal vehicles to Valley Pacific for this work for many years, and they have always done very high quality work as well as being completely honest and forthright, not to mention having very fair rates. There are only a handful of shops I have ever trusted and can recommend and Valley Pacific is in that very rare company.

Stopped in for an alignment here on my 10 year old car. The mechanic did the job while I waited. He advised me of a small problem he thought I should take care of at a future date. ( I was a professional mechanic for 12 years and I have performed many alignments myself). He was bang on with his diagnosis. Anyway the upshot is my car drives great and I was out in under an hour. Bear in in mind their is no separate waiting area here, just a comfy sofa that allows you to watch the guys working, if that matters to you. The shop is clean, for an auto shop and there is parking off street. Otherwise the service writer/mechanic was polite and easy going. Cost was about par for an independent and much less than a dealer. There is also a couple of cats roaming around, one of which kept me company while I waited.

Great guys and great service. They were really helpful in dialing in an alignment that was right for my handling goals and explained why some adjustments were better that what my initial requests were. I don't even know how to say it other than that they did great. They were very knowledgeable about my car beyond just reading the spec sheet and blindly following what it said and made recommendations based on the modifications to the car. I can't say enough good things about these guys. I'll definitely be going here when I need alignments without hesitation.

The best review I can give about a auto shop is that I'd send my wife there without me, and not feel that she was going to get ripped off because she knows nothing about cars. Mark is great, and the work they did on my Jeep was amazing. The final bill was just about the same as the estimate, and they did all of my work in one day (which if you knew how much work my suspension needed, they should have gotten a reward). I'll always go there for suspension work, and it's not even close.

These guys do very competent work, but they charge extremely high prices. They inflate the price of parts, I saw one part on my bill for 159 dollars and I can't find that part at that high a price no matter how hard I look. Closest I could find was half the price. Same with all the other parts and their labor rate is pretty high too. I usually don't mind paying a premium if it gets you premium service and quality, but their prices, especially on parts, are insulting and outrageous. Its a shame, the shop manager, Mark ,is a great guy, very friendly and personable but not even his good people skills will earn my return business. Its a shame really that they sacrifice return business for a quick, highly inflated, bill.

I was an professional auto mechanic for about 10 years and still fix most of the problems on all of my family's cars. But some work, like frame, alignment and AC, require special equipment I don't have. Having been in the business and knowing too well the shady side, it is difficult to find shops I can trust to do the work right and for a fair price. This is one of those rare gems. I have been using them for years, and have always been delighted with the quality of their work and their very honest business practices.

Took my car in bc the e-brake light was coming on. Figured it was low brake fluid (I was right), but wanted to check. My neighbor and sister both swore by Mark at Valley Pacific. I called ahead of time, mentioned their names, and he said no problem. When I got there, I remembered it was almost time for a timing belt/water pump replacement. 95 Ford Escort, 1.9 engine. Mark was nice. He topped off my brake fluid, showed me some things on my car to look out for, and how to fix them myself. Then I asked if he had time to do the timing belt. He quoted me $600, and I agreed to it without getting other quotes (I ALWAYS get other quotes) After I left, I felt like it was too high, so I called around to three highly rated shops in Canoga Park. Got quotes for $361(Saticoy Auto Center), $445(LA Auto Care), and $467(Mark's Auto Repair) - all Napa parts, all with the works, labor, coolant, etc. I called Mark right back, told him about the other quotes, and asked what he could do to reduce the price. He was definitely caught off guard, and said I'll see what we can do to shave off some cost, but we have a certain way we do things here. Ill try to reorder parts differently to keep it in your budget. Waiting to see what they end up charging me tonight, but I already feel like I got screwed. **Update. He said they worked it down to $490 using an after market water pump (maybe that's true, or maybe they quoted high to begin with). I'm still not happy about the price, but at the end of the day it's my fault for not doing my research ahead of time. Lesson learned.
