I don't ever write reviews, but I figured it's high time to publicly give credit where credit is due.
I've brought every car I've owned here after being recommended enthusiastically by a friend... and I will NOT take my car anywhere else now, no matter how long their wait is; and the wait isn't a criticism at all, just goes to show that they're in high demand by a lot of people! And lemme tell ya it is well worth any wait to have it done right, done honestly, in a timely manner, by the right people!
Mike and his team have always been fair with their prices (and it's hard to put a price on that kind of expertise) and he's SO honest about what is detrimental and needs to be addressed first and what might be a concern down the road and he'll help you prioritize and make those choices accordingly. They are NOT out to just take your money and suggest things you don't need. That sort of integrity compounded by their unparalleled attention to detail means I've never had the same problem twice, and had my expectations exceeded every time
Ive never been disappointed with their work, my 71 Chevy Nova loves Micon and the great job they do! Thanks Mike and the team for always catering to its needs!

My family is new in the area, and Micon was highly recommended to me by a local. I was a little leary, as I had been recommended to another nearby mechanic last year and was really unhappy with my experience. My experience here, however, was very positive. It's very hard, in my opinion, to find a mechanic that is trustworthy and also gives quality work. Mike was easy to speak with and didn't make me feel like an idiot when explaining what was going on with my vehicle. It ended up, thankfully, being a smaller issue than I was anticipating, and I don't feel like he took advantage of my mechanical ignorance in the slightest. If I have anymore car issues, i wouldn't hesitate to bring it in to Mike again.

Very pleased with Micon!
I have always been uncomfortable bringing my cars in for repairs, because there is always an extra problem, extra delay, extra expense. NOT THE CASE at Micon !! They are easy to deal with, and really know their stuff! Mike called us back with the diagnostic results within hours of drop-off, and had several recommendations for how to fix it, explaining the pros/cons and price of each. Even with having to get the parts in, the vehicle was ready within 24 hours (unbelievable!). I was also pleasantly shocked at the bill.. usually I see that installation of an inexpensive part costs several hundred dollars in labor. Labor cost here was very reasonable, I wasn't given a laundry list of other things that might be wrong, and wasn't without my car for weeks on end.
I am still surprised that car repair can be this smooth, easy, painless, convenient, and will most certainly be using Micon for any future vehicle issues.

If you want good, HONEST service this is the place. I've taken my cars here for years and drive all the way from Martinez because I know I can trust them. They don't try to "add in extras" to get more money or advise you on unnecessary services. They get my cars in good shape at a good price. I highly recommend.

I have been been getting my vehicles repaired at Micon for a couple of years now and I recommend them very highly! Honest and very knowledgable when it comes to auto repair. I was quoted $1500 for a repair on my truck by another well known repair shop in town but Mike did the job for $775. Great service at very fair prices.

Honest. Fair. What more can you ask?
I've heard nothing but good things about Micon and when we drove up, their lot was packed with cars. I consider "busy" in a tough economy a positive sign. They went above and beyond to fix my car, and I would recommend them to my closest friends.

OUTSTANDING! I've used Micon for several years and always had great service... on time, done right and priced as quoted... but this week really showed we made the right decision... An ignition switch that had been replaced by Micon a few months ago failed (mfg defect) and rather than fighting with me... they stepped up, got it fixed, got me back on the road right away... and then they fought it out with the supplier to get reimbursed! I can't ask for more!
