I was recommended here by a friend after I bought my " "new" 2012 VW Passat. My goal was to make sure everything was working properly and had all the maintenance updated. I was hesitant about having to go to an auto shop, I've heard so many horror stories from other friends at other shops. Unfortunately going to the dealer would have been WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.
I'm SOOO thankful for my friend recommending me here, they were extremely friendly and helped me stay with win my budget and understand what I needed and didn't need.
If you don't know anything about cars and don't know anywhere in the area to take your car for anything mechanical, AC, brakes, maintenance etc I HIGHLY recommend Diego's Auto Repair here in East LA.

20 days after the engine was rebuild my vehicle developed serious problems including engine over heating rendering the vehicle unfit to drive.

These guys seem authentic, honest and professional. BUT THEY ARE NOT.....BE CAREFUL..... Fixed my car the first day, promising the check engine light wouldn't come on. And the very next day, it did go back on. I went back and they said that it was something else now. And wanted to charge me $200. more than the regular price of the part that needed repair plus labor. I did my research and only spent $120. on the part and a scanner. I repaired it in like 20 minutes cus I'm not a mechanic.
