Just wanted to take a minute to Share my great experience at AK Automotive
Was referred to the shop from a friend that raves about Arlo And Ryan and the way they take care of her and her car... I was just in for a simple oil & filter change they are very nice,honest and fair they checked all my fluids made sure everything looked good and was in safe working order and also checked tire pressure for me and recommended some things I should think about servicing in the future

I came in for a $200 AC issue on my Santa Fe. When I left, after it was "fixed" the transmission shifter wouldn't shift. They took my car to a transmission shop and told me it would need to be rebuilt for about $1600, this took a about a week to find out. The day I came to pick my car up because it was totaled, it was miraculously able to start shifting again, after I said I wouldn't pay the $1600, and I had the triple A tow truck with me.
I can't trust them with my car, I was about to be out a fair chunk of change for something that wasn't broken.

Finding Arlo and Ryan at AK auto was one of the best recommendations I've ever gotten. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and fair. Above all the are extremely trustworthy, an invaluable trait in an auto shop. There is no problem too big or too small for these guys and they always take the time to explain what is needed and why. I recently moved but will still make the trip to AK whenever I need any help with a vehicle. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I will only go here. These guys are honest and give me options that won't break the bank. This past Friday my family and I were on our way to the movies when we stopped for gas and all of a sudden our Flex wouldn't start. I called my brother who recommended I call the guys at AK Automotive. They eased my mind and my wallet with their expertise, knowledge, and know-how! Luckily it was just a battery. Its hard to find a good shop, ans its also hard to find an honest mechanic. This place is both, which is very impressive. I usually do mostly all my own auto work but in my current situation I don't have the facilities. It is super annoying and typical to get overcharged and lied to when going to a mechanic, since i know cars I can not accept this type of B.S. This place has a very knowledgeable, helpful staff and has the right equipment as well. I highly recommend AK Automotive. This place is a good 1/2 hour drive from me, but it's well worth it. "These guys are straight up good"

I was referred by my stepson. My car is 9 years old and needed some TLC. Ryan and Arlo were great about giving me options on parts and let me know what was happening. I took my Chrysler 300C in to have them install an AC blend actuator that was broken in my car, as well as an oil change. Ryan took care of it all! They are honest, and won't try to cheat you to make some cash. I am VERY pleased with my experience and will be taking my vehicle back to AK in the future. Highly recommended. One thing, call them first. Don't just show up. They are very busy, but they answer the phone every time I call.
