I was a little skeptic trying another independent mechanic after my last experience. Brookside Auto Rx put my mind at rest. They are able to diagnose my problem and came to a quick resolution. The prices were fair and the quality of work is top notch. I also received a phone call inquiring about the operation of my vehicle. This would have to be the first. I am very impressed with Brookside Auto Rx. I never look forward to my vehicle not performing properly, but the next time something goes wrong...Brookside Auto Rx it is.

Great Service! Clean environment They were friendly, fast and accommodating. We came in right before closing and they got us right in. Cost efficient and pet friendly. They stand behind their service. I recommend this place to anyone who needs auto repair. I would definitely come back.

The service I received from the technician Tim was great!! He was very thorough and professional!! Tim found leaks I didn't even know I had!! Absolutely loved the service I received today from Brookside Auto. I wasn't having the best morning to make matters worst my tire went flat. Death, taxes, dishonest mechanics. Three things that are typically a sure thing, with the exception of the last item, thanks to Brookside Auto RX. They're great people and they're not going to talk you in to anything that you truly don't need. Certainly worth a try if you've had trouble finding someone trustworthy to work on you vehicle.

There is one day I look forward to more than any other day in Missouri. No it's not Christmas, not Labor Day, and not even my favorite holiday, Halloween. It's that wonderful day when you realize, "Oh crap. I need to get my car inspected."
Okay, so in reality it kind of sucks to have to get your car inspected when you either buy a car in MO or move to MO - you pay $22, you have to make an appointment (wish I'd known that!), and it's just one of those adult things that adds to an ever growing list.
Enter Brookside Auto Rx - For. The Win.
I had a few free hours to hit the DMV between August and September, and first and foremost I had to get the ol' inspection. I called about eight mechanics who had a laugh at my desire to get in within a few hours.
In a panic, I called Brookside Auto and they were able to get me right in. To top it off, they realized my car is new enough that it didn't need to full-inspection, and did it super quick for only $12. Most importantly, the intense DMV folks accepted whatever piece of paper they gave me.
Friendly folks, and they'll be good to you whenever one of those mild, adult-life inconveniences strikes, whether a repair or the dreaded Missouri car inspection.

I will never go anywhere else Clint the owner is by far the most honest and trust worthy mechanic that I have ever been to. Took him my jeep that another guy had started the heater core and couldn't finish. Clint fixed it and reassembled my dash and got me back in the road in no time! Great place with awesome customer service. For any of your car needs I would go here.

I have a 2003 Subaru Outback, Clint has fixed everything from the head gaskets, to brakes, to installing a new Stereo. Even though I live in Gladstone, I make the drive to Waldo even for oil changes. I only trust Brookside Auto for any repairs. They diagnose the issue right the first time saving me headaches and needless repeated trips. They are very honest.

I went here for an oil change. I called the day before to see if they had an opening the next day. Tamara asked me what time was good for me. I told anytime is good. I arrived at 3pm for my appointment. It took about 30 minutesfor completion. The gentleman who was working on my truck if i had a specific air pressure for my tires. I told i do not. So he put in the normal amount for me. Thank you. I asked for a couple of estimates on brakes and Tamara gave me a couple. I surely will be back for their business. Supreme nice and job. Thanks!!!

Having a good mechanic is just as important as having a good doctor. . .and these guys are the best. I was referred here by a friend, and it was one of the most solid recommendations I've received to date.The owner, Clint, his wife Tamara, and their kind and down-to-earth staff went above and beyond to help me get a great deal on a used vehicle and then to get it in tip top shape. They saved me $1500 on a used vehicle by showing me what repairs were needed; they even printed out a detailed list to take back to the seller. They got the repairs done in an extremely timely fashion, and their prices are very reasonable (especially for the quality.) I also love that it's a napa certified shop. You know this is trustworthy operation with trustworthy people when it's obvious they love what they do and care about the people they serve. It's rare to find a business that operates with such integrity and quality. Also, if you need a head light polished, they do magic. . . literally magic. You can't go wrong with this shop.

I have been anxious about getting state mandated inspections because I am new to MO. I have heard that some will use this as an opportunity to upsell you into things you don't really need. There were none of those shenanigans here. They were very professional and helpful and took care of me promptly.

Treats you with respect, and does honest, fast, excellent lasting work. Friendly with having children with you, helps they are Family owned in my opinion. Has a good clean waiting area and safe way to leave your car if needs to be dropped before opening hours.
