Great Honest shop!

I have had great service here many times. They did a repair for $225 that NTB had quoted me over $400. When I thought my passenger Wiper motor bad burned out, they discovered the nut assembly had come loose on the inside and repaired for labor only. Any other place would have nailed me with a new part and installation labor. Mike and John are great and I have no reservations about driving older cars with them in my corner.

Take your car elsewhere

Overall I think the technician at this shop is competent, but he did made a mistake while repairing my vehicle; it took four visits to resolve an oil leak problem with my car. The third attempt to fix the leak resulted in an incorrectly installed part, which caused performance and oil consumption issues that did not show up until weeks later. Thinking I had severe engine problems I took it to the dealer's shop for diagnoses where they discovered the incorrectly installed part; by then it already caused over $1400 damage to various components/sensors in my engine. This was clearly documented by the dealership's technician that Bennett Motor's mistake was the cause of the problems I was experiencing. When I brought this to Bennett Motor Werk’s attention I was given the run around and told that they did nothing wrong, even insinuating that it was my fault for not bringing my car back to them. They refused to accept responsibility for their mistake. More importantly they refused to help me pay for those repairs even though I had documented proof that the work they performed directly caused this damage. After several weeks, they reluctantly refunded $190, which was the price I paid for the replacement of the incorrectly installed part. They refused to reimburse anything more stating that I was required to bring my car back to them for warranty work even though the symptoms I experienced seemed to be totally unrelated to the Oil Leak problem that they fixed weeks earlier. I would not recommend this repair shop. Not because they made a mistake, but because of their refusal to stand behind their work and lack their of concern for the customer. There must be a reason they are not a member of the Better Business Bureau.

If I did not own a shop myself ,I would not hesitate to bring my car for repair. We remain friends after 30 years, worked together prior to venturing on our own, share the same passion and and experiences. If convenience is important, Ron'auto repair and body shop is across town in the Mockingbird/ Irving Blvd area near Parkland and Park Cities area

Good, personal service

I've had Bennett service my Infiniti several times. Good service as always and he is willing to work with you time and cont of repairs. A better value than local Infiniti dealer.

We bring both our cars to Raj and no one else! He is honest and fixes only what needs fixing. Go to Raj.

Found Raj's Auto on Yelp last week, and took the boss's Kia Sportage in for new plugs/wires, a headlight and oil change. We had purchased the wires/plugs, and they were happy to do the work as some shops would refuse to touch any auto parts that a customer would have brought. The owners son who took care of us, was very straight forward, friendly and kept me informed of what was going on. Overall the experience was great, and I will continue to do business with this shop. I will try bringing them my SAAB next to see how well they tackle a Swedish enigma lol..

I found Raj because he's one of the the most-recommended mechanics on the Car Talk website. Those guys crack me up. Anyways, that's obviously a good sign, and Raj certainly did not disappoint. When I met him, I was predisposed to trust him because my dad is also a tiny Gujarati man named Raj-- just like the Raj of Raj's Auto. And if you go to Raj, you will deal with him directly. He knows everything about what goes on with all the cars in his shop. He was great about explaining everything to me in laymans terms-- explaining pricing and prioritizing repairs in a very straightforward way. He told me how long I could hold off on certain repairs and what needed to be taken care of asap. He explained to me that while I was taking care of the repair I came in for, I should go ahead and do some of some routine maintenance work that I was overdue for (he showed me the schedule in the Honda manual-- that's how thoroughly he explains things) because they would already "be in there anyways" so it would save me money on labor costs in the longer-run. But there's never any 'upselling' like you get at the chain mechanics where they always want to sell you new tires or a system-cleaning (?!) The prices are not cheap, but they are absolutely reasonable and a great value for the service you get. My car ran great after the two times I've taken it to him. After my most recent visit, he told me that I shouldn't need to get any work done, other than routine oil changes, for at least a year (and this is on a ten year old car). That's great news from your mechanic. Raj will also very conveniently pick you up and drop you off at the nearby DART station! I did this both times I took my car to him and it worked out great.
