Just returning from meeting a man I presume to be Mr. Hooks. Had two small dents in the body of my car--leased--which are just big and deep enough that I worry they might not pass inspection upon the car's return. He thoroughly explained what he thought he would and wouldn't be able to do as far as restoring the car goes, and was simply candid and courteous throughout our conversation. He advised that the car might pass the inspection as is, and I was just glad to have what seems an honest second opinion. Happy to have found this shop.

Simple fix? My lights went out (2007 Prous). The dealer said it would be $500 minimum. I came to Paul. Cost me $28 - one fuse and 2 light bulbs. Let's hear it for honest mechanics!!!

Paul, the owner, was friendly, and professional. What was surprising was that his shop is clean and well organized. From the moment you step inside the door, the feel is clean and I felt secure having a repair done here. I noticed in his lobby that he is a AAA approved repair shop. If you need a repair near the medical center area give this shop a call.

Was referred to them by AAA and was not disappointed. They diagnosed my problem (needed a new radiator) and gave me a quote within 15 minutes, and two hours later my car was fixed for a fair price. Paul even gave me a ride home while they worked on it. Definitely recommend these guys!

we took our car for AC repair. Gave us $600 quote. We decided to pay and get the AC fixed. We got the car back after they "so called fixed it". It didn't even last 24hrs!! No cold air was coming out! When we took the car back, they said it was a "new" leak! How dishonest. How is it possible to have a new leak within 24 hours of so called repair. The owner Paul was so rude. When we asked him how could it be that we paid for the service and the AC is still not fixed. He gave us another quote for another $600!!!! and he said apparently a "rock" hit and now there is a new leak!! Cannot believe an owner will make up stories to cover misdiagnosis! Called Paul to resolve the issue and straight up hung up the phone on my face. SO UNPROFESSIONAL!

Rene was the person I dealt with and after he gave the vehicle a free estimate inspection I was then given an excellent price which was $75 less than another transmission shops estimate. Not only was is less expensive but I was out in a 1/2 hour. 5 stars.

Great place! I took my car in for diagnosis, and the staff offered a no pressure service plan with a great price. I shopped around and checked several other shops, and Better Transmission could not be beat. Not only was the price great, but their customer service was top notch. My car is running great, and I am now a loyal Better Transmission customer.

My overall experience with Better Transmission was excellent. The manager Bruce was very clear about the process from start to finish. The owner Rene gave me a very fair price; much better then the dealer wanted. I was very satisfied with the price and the work that was done. Transmission is still running great. I would recommend Better Transmission to anyone needing transmission or automotive work.

Being a woman I thought no matter were I went a transmission shop would rip me off. That was not the case at Better Transmission. Going into have it checked out I thought my Transmission was blown up; had no drive or second gear, just low. The owner Rene Put it on the rack as soon as I got there and said he would check it all out for free. After only 5 min he came in and told me It was just the linkage cable that needed to be adjusted. I asked how long and how much it would cost. Rene said he already fixed It and he wasnt going to charge me anything. Its nice to know there are still honest people at this auto repair shop. Thats why I spent so much time writing this review. If you need transmission or auto repair work I would 100% take it to Better Transmission. They are honest, and very polite and after a week my transmission is still running brand new. I will never go anywhere else for any of My automotive repair needs except to Better Transmission.
