Bill and Jeremy at L & D are great. When I took my Xterra to Bill he was able to tell what was wrong without having to go through hours of costly diagnostics like most shops would. They are car enthusiasts and knowledgable to the point that chances are they will already be aware of any known issues with your cars make and model, be able to look at it on the spot and repair it accordingly. Another big plus is that if they have your vehicle you can bet they are working on it and they get it ready promptly. Another shop in town had kept my Xterra, not called to keep me updated, wasted weeks of my time and tried to convince me to waste money I didnt have, including nearly $500 on an alternator that I didnt need. So save yourself time and money and get over to L & D and let Bill and Jeremy have a look. You wont regret it.

I had heard nothing but good things about this shop so tried them out for my wifes car needing some AC work. Another shop in town quoted $1200 to fix it and 3 days. Bill took 5 minutes to find a bad $2 seal. He replaced it and threw in a new filter and had it charged and blowing at 32* within an hour and all was under $100! Two months latter and the wife still says its too cold. Honest and fast, didn't think they made mechanics like that.

Best shop in the Greater Waco area as far as I'm concerned. Their prices are hard to beat, and the work is rock-solid. I've been to L&D four or five times now, and they've gotten it right the first time every time. Perhaps, for me, the most important aspect of any auto repair shop is whether or not I can trust the people there. I trust these people. They talk to me about any issue in-depth and always have the old parts for my inspection after. They also give me choices and alternatives, some of which don't make them as much money as others. They give me the pros and cons of each alternative and then let me decide. If they find another problem while working on something else, they'll call first. Once they even texted photos of a bad part to me at work! I'd trust these guys with my wallet. Great place!

Great customer service and never try to sell me stuff I don't need for my car. I have been serviced by them many times and they always amaze me with how quick they fix my car and never let me down. Great shop!!!

This is the best mechanic in Central Texas. He will treat you like family and your vehicle like it's his. If you think it's a little bit out of the way, think about the consequences of settling for a mediocre mechanic that's closer. He is undeniably the best!
