Easily the most trustworthy mechanic in the area. Brian is great! He gives you an honest and fair assessment of your vehicle and provides advice/guidance on what maintenance NEEDS to be done to maintain your vehicle. What NEEDS to be done...not what he WANTS to do to your car to upsell you. He's even suggested at times of choosing the cheaper (less expensive) route in certain situations. He provides you his advice and gives you options..and of course you have to choose what is best for your car (and wallet).
Brian has a wealth of knowledge but specializes in Honda/Acura and German made vehicles (Audi, BMW, etc). Overall great guy and accomplished professional.
I've been going to My Dad's Automotive since the company opened and will continue to go there for the life of my vehicle. I live in Arlington and travel to Chantilly just to have my car (2005 Acura TL) serviced by My Dad's. There are plenty of mechanic shops around but this is the only shop I trust to provide an honest evaluation of my car.
Definitely a 5 star rating. I highly recommend visiting My Dad's Automotive for your vehicle maintenance needs.

Very knowledgeable and fair pricing. I will only take my vehicles to My Dads Automotive. They make very accurate diagnostics and have fixed a variety of issues and given great maintenance to our cars and SUV. Highly recommend!

This shop is great. Brian is professional, trustworthy and extremely knowledgeable. They take the time to explain your options. Prices are more than fair for the quality and time they put in to your vehicle. One vehicle I took in, they spent the time and energy diagnosing possible issues. After notifying me of what may be going on, I wasn't charged anything for their, time, effort and knowledge. Simply a great place to take your car and the comfort that you are being treated fairly and honestly. Without hesitation. The only place I'll be taking my cars is My Dads Garage. Thanks Brian.

Brought my 03 crv here with multiple minor issues. They ran a diagnosis, gave me options and honest recomendations, and seemed to see where I was coming from as a customer. Good communication and good service. Price seemed fair, although I didn't shop around.

I brought my bmw 325i for new vehicle inspection.
Great business, trustworthy and honest.
Im new to the area so i did research on mechanics.
Went to 3 places and decided on My Dads Auto.
I went back and bought new runflats and had them installed. I will be going here for all my vehicle needs.
I would recommend this place for any friends or anyone in general.
Nowadays we have alot of shady mechanics.
My Dads Automotive is NOT one of them.
Place is great!

I had my Toyota Tacoma fully serviced with an extensive overhaul by My Dad's and they were SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than Toyota and used the same genuine Toyota parts. I have no idea why you would go to the dealership. The owner was one guy and he was the actual mechanic. Here you deal directly with the person working on your car, not a receptionist who doesn't know anything and has an attitude like at EVERY Toyota dealership I've been to. My Dads also stands behind their work longer than the Toyota dealership... I love this place.
