Do NOT take your car here. My car got dropped off at 8:30 in the morning, and they didn't even look at it until the last hour of the day. When they were fixing my car, I called to see how they are doing(I was told it would be done by 3) because I had to work late in the afternoon. They were almost done, but then suddenly a new noise appeared and they were looking into it. Was I called to be informed of this extra charge? NO. So, I had to scramble to find a ride to work since we are a one car family and I ended up being late. They supposedly "finished" it that evening and never called. Guess what? There's still a noise that THEY caused. This business is unprofessional and disorganized. Do NOT take your car here.

I would not recommend Nixons for fleet owners.it is hard to track your vehicles they don't put the vin on your bill .snd with out the vin I don't see how they can track it either. Also they will tell you your vehicle will be ready this day…

Was driving long distance to see my kid for the Thanksgiving holiday when the check engine light came on. Happened to be close to Joplin, and since I had just spent money on a full service check in OKC I figured someone might have left a cap off. Stopped checked oil and fluids all were okay but still the engine light was on. Well I was not getting to my destination until after dark and Joplin was a great place to make sure I did not have issues someplace I did not want to break down in the cold. Found Nixon's, but they were jammed packed they day before Thanksgiving of course. Told Josh and his team the situation and they had me in and out in 15 minutes, it appears my o2 sensors were triggering the light but they were working fine according to the mechanic. It seems I can't take a car into a shop these days without dropping 300 bucks. The piece of mind Josh and his team gave me for the rest of my six hour drive cost me $15 bucks...

Nixon's Garage did an excellent job of replacing a 2.2L 4 cylinder motor in my '04 Chevy Malibu at a fair and reasonable price. I have put about 6,000 miles on my replacement motor and I'm happy to report that the motor is running perfectly and I get 28mpg in town, 34mpg highway.

Due to terrible communication and customer service from one particular employee, I never actually made it to Nixon's Garage. I'd heard several positive reviews from friends and family, so I thought it might be a good choice for my timing belt replacement (60,000-mile preventative maintenance). They were priced a little cheaper than the majority of places I called for quotes, and on my first contact with them a guy whose name I believe to be Rick, sounded very confident and friendly and assured me that the job would be completed for a price I felt was reasonable (around $300). Due to his customer service I decided to choose Nixon's over another shop whose price was lower. I scheduled the appointment, and one week later (the day before I was scheduled to bring in my car), I called to confirm the details and talked with another employee whose name I think may have been Steve (I am not completely sure of his name, and now I'm kicking myself for that). It was a completely different experience. Right off the bat, he had mega attitude and told me he didn't see an appointment scheduled under my name. Finally he "found it". I asked if I could pay when I dropped off my car and he sighed loudly, then told me my total was going to be over $500 and that I would be "stupid" not to get the water pump replaced too. He told me the price of the parts and I thought the labor seemed exorbitant so he told me it was due to "taxes". I explained to him about the quote I received a week earlier from Rick, his coworker, and he told me in an extremely rude & condescending tone that he was "100% sure Rick told me that quote was PRETAX". He sounded very agitated and angry with me. By that time, there was NO WAY I was giving them my business so I scheduled elsewhere and cancelled the appointment. I don't know if this second guy I dealt with is an owner or manager at Nixon's but he needs to check himself before he wrecks the favorable image of the business.

Don't bring your car here. They forgot to hook my air intake back up. They told me to buy parts that were unnecessary. They banged up my car. The owner was rude to me, and refused to help. Probably the worst customer service experience I've had anywhere, ever. Many, many small problems.
