Excellent Car Repair!

Do you need car repairs from a reputable business? This is the place! Friendly honest employees. We've been using them for the past three years. They know cars and are "female friendly".

Bullard's Auto is ran by RUDE ASSOCIATES AND OWNER

I spent over 1500 dollars to have my car fixed for over heating problems and not only did it over heat and steam 2 days after getting it back from Bullard's, but when i had it taken back up there they tried to charge me AGAIN for what…

Help When I Needed It!

After reading the review of Dani R., I've decided that there must be more than one set of owner & associates at Bullard Auto Services! \r In late April, we were coming to Independence from south central Texas when our transmission started…

Five well-deserved stars for this local business. No muss, no fuss and the Lady Boss, Debbie takes all the fear out of a woman seeking fair and friendly service. I was not intimidated. They shot me the best price and the work was completed in the time frame promised. When you correctly diagnose the problem, fix it on time and don't over-charge me... You have a customer for life.

I've been using this repair service for about 4 years now and would not take my vehicle anywhere else. They have saved me a bunch of money by being honest. Being female I always worry that shops will try to take advantage of me but with Bullard Auto Service I don't have to worry about that since the owner is female. I would highly recommend them..

I could not shift my manual transmission into any gears so I brought it in to have them look at it. They said I would need an entire transmission swap, $1800. I took the car home and found that it was a $0.42 pin that had broken. I replaced the pin. Car runs fine. Bottom line is the guys at Bullard Auto Service are either liars or lazy and don't know what they are talking about; a terrible combination for a mechanic shop. Stay away!

These guys are lazy idiots. I brought our VW in because it was leaking coolant. I specifically told them I knew it wasn't the water pump because we just had it replaced. Guess what we paid forty bucks for them to tell us it was water pump and t belt. Price would be$750. Good thing we didn't believe them. Took it to Ryan's car care, he said no, water pump is fine, it's the thermostat which is next to water pump, price...$375. Bullards is overpriced anyway Ryans would have changed Water pump and t belt for $570. Bullards doesn't warranty stupid, so we.would have been charged twice for something they should have caught the first time.

Well $841.56 later and I am on the road with a fixed vehicle and an oil change. Then $40.00 in gas. I will start off by saying given the chance to go back and purchase a vehicle at First class cars, I wouldn't. Ever. Even if it was the only car place on earth, I most definitely would become an avid bike rider. Then I paid a guy to come to my home and fix my engine mounts, which he charged me 350.00 to do so...I posted pics of the ones he said he fixed. There is no way he did, given the amount of rust and breakage of them. I thought he did the job awfully fast but I didn't know much about cars then. I damn sure do now. NEVER again. I would never recommend this man to anyone. Finally I will tell you that Bullard Auto Service is the ONLY place I will take my car or recommend to ANYONE EVER. They were honest and fair, wouldn't fix something without my okay first and explained to me what went on with my car. Then assured me to call them if ANYTHING goes wrong immediately so that they may fix it. They truly have a small town feel to a big time business. My car hasn't run this good ever, not even when I bought it! I am relieved, broke, but relieved!

In late April, we were coming to Independence from south central Texas when our transmission started acting up badly. Several shops en-route prepared us for the $2-3,000 cost for a re-build! We limped on into Independence while seeking advice from "people in-the-know." Finally, my 83 year old, almost re-tired, school teacher aunt, said "go to Bullards, they've been treating me right for years." The skilled transmission man there was able to quickly and accurately diagnose the problem in an electronic sending unit and get us back on the road in a few hours for less than $300! Over 2,500 miles later and it is still running as smooth-as-silk! When I'm back in Independence soon, I plan to have Bullards address some other more routine service needs. Thanx, Deb!
