I'm always bad about getting my oil changed on time and always make my appointments last minute (literally the day before or day of my trip) , I usually go next door to palatine complete automotive which is an awesome place, they always do a great job and don't try to rip you off like most auto places! I always prefer private owned businesses over corporate and since it's a holiday weekend I knew most places would be filled. I walked next door to Marin and they were busy but able to fit me in last minute which was awesome! And I found out that they work with the people at palatine complete auto as well!
I give them 5 stars because they were super friendly and didn't seem annoyed that I came in so last minute and they literally saved my weekend!! And you can't beat their prices!

Shaken from an accident, I had my CRV towed directly to Marin. They took charge of EVERYTHING and calmed my nerves. They really know their business, from the estimates to working with specific insurance companies, to arranging a car rental. (It would have entailed a lot more red tape and hassle had I tried to file a claim myself.) They kept me apprised of what was happening and what to expect. And their work was amazing. I can't speak highly enough of this family operated business.

Great service and quality work! I came in with an unusual problem not covered by insurance. Their quote was $1000 lower than anyone else I had contacted. The work was top notch and done in the time promised. They even took me home after I dropped it off (my son didn't show up in time).
I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone looking for quality work done at a reasonable price.

I took my car there after my son had an accident. They are very professional and helpful. I was very happy how easy they are to work with. My car look great. With having 4 vehicles, we have had our mechanical repairs with them. Fast, friendly and very easy to work with.

I had an accident with my car and took my car to them for repair. They handled everything with State Farm, arranged for a rental and fixed by car in the time frame they gave me. In addition, they cleaned both the inside and outside of the car and it looked showroom ready. What great service they give in a time of need. Most of us do not have accidents very often and it is confusing on what needs to be done and they walked me thorugh everything and were very helpful.
I have used them before for minor work and they were always very good at fixing it at a fair price and quickly. I would recommend them for any time of body repair.

I have had 3 experiences with this auto body shop over the last 7 years and each time I was VERY HAPPY with the experience. They provide quality workmanship and excellent service for a fair price! And yes I have also found them to be very honest as others have mentioned. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this auto body shop - and I did just learn that they now have an auto repair shop next door, which I will definitely check out for an oil change in the near future. I have lived in Palatine most of my adult life and this is definitely the place I will always bring my car for body work.

If you're looking for an HONEST auto repair or auto body shop, look no further. I have brought my wife's car (formerly a Nissan Altima, and now Lexus IS250) and mine (previously Mitsubishi Eclipse and now Acura TL) for years. Marin does an excellent job whether we need a simple oil change, fixing up dents from a "fender bender" or mechanical or maintenance issues. He's always cheaper than I would expect, and always seems to solve whatever issue affect our vehicles. The customer service is top notch (always gives me a free car wash after every service), and even drops off my car to by place of work. Perhaps the most important aspect is that Marin is 100% honest and reliable. He has never tried to fix something that didn't need repair, and advised me if a problem was a "necessary fix" or something that we could live with and save on costs. As an attorney for almost a decade, I would not hesitate to recommend him to any friend, family member or colleague. RATING: A+

This is an A+ honest place of business. I went there for an estimate on bodywork that I was going to need on my car after an accident and also for other engine problems with my car. They were helpful on the phone and there was no waiting when I got there. They did the estimate and were very informative on all other aspects of what I needed to know in dealing with the ins. companies. They were able to fix my engine problems, right there on the spot. They even closed the windows on the car and started the AC before we were leaving, as it was a hot day and my daughter is 9 months pregnant. I definetly recommend them and will keep their card in my wallet for future use.
