Fabulous. Took my Mercedes in for A service, got a loaner car pronto. No tedious paperwork, showing licenses, etc. for the loaner. Quick, quick, quick. The A Serivce was substantially less money than the dealer would have charged. AND, the Mercedes dealer repair guy told me that my burned out rear license plate lamp was a very expensive replacement as the whole license plate area had to be taken out and reassembled. Oh, poopah. Not so. Autohaus replaced the lamp for FREE. The waiting room is spotless, and entertaining. They have a scrolling presentation screen about their services, staff, greenness, etc. And the dogs are adorable. Very fun. Great experience all the way around. Thank you, Autohaus. You rock!

Now you're talkin'! After years of dealership service, I had my right catalytic converter go out. The dealer wanted to put on a new one for about $1200. When I inquired about a rebuilt, they said Mercedes was just starting to make them. $900 for a rebuilt just for the part. Plus he said as long as I was doing one side I might as well do both. I know enough about split exhaust on autos that you save no money "doing both at once". Plus, they had just done the other side a year or two ago but didn't check their service records! Went to Jesse at Autohaus and today picked it up for $754 parts and labor. Both our Mercedes are going to Autohaus from now on. Even have rides to work or many times a loaner car. You won't be disappointed! Gary

I've been taking my 2007 Mercedes ML350 to Autohaus since I purchased it. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. They are the BEST! Don't bother with the dealership, these guys are the best mechanics in Eugene!

2007 BMW 335 ci 74,742 miles After making an appointment for routine service (brake fluid flush) on the autohaus website I drove in from the coast for my first scheduled service appointment. Arrived on time and was promptly served as promised; no downtime, in and out without a hitch. Final bill as priced. Paperwork provides details of service performed together with recommendation for next service, i.e. date/mileage. Had asked for battery check and requested diagnostic advice to avoid surprises in future but also to maintain vehicle in top conditions. Autohaus provided that info, incl. pricing/estimates; George, mechanic explained particulars in person. All in all, most positive experience of what could have been a dreadful one. There is always a degree of uncertainty & unease to finding a trustworthy auto service/repair facility when new to an area. Glad to have found autohaus. I shall return for my future service/repair needs.

Everyone at Autohaus is extremely helpful and extremely friendly! They did a great job on my car. This is the only mechanic in Eugene I'll take my Audi to get worked on. I very highly recommend Autohas if you drive a German car. I do recommend making an appointment if you can because they are a little busy, but to me that is a good thing and understandable because they do a very good job.

Took my Volkswagen in to have the check engine light checked. Turns out the gas cap was on crooked and this caused the light to come on. I paid $85 to have the tech unscrew my gad cap, then replace it.
As a single mom with baby in tow, these people have no compassion and charged me 85 dollars without blinking an eye.
I won't be giving any more money to this business and will definitely warn others to take their vehicles to a better business.

This review may change once I get a second opinion on my car.
Brought it in to check out possible transmission leak. Thankfully they did not find that.
My trust is shaken by the fact that they told me my rear brakes are at 50%. I know this is not true, as I got new rear breaks 8 weeks ago. If they are distorting this, what else are they being dishonest about?
I will keep my estimate that suggests almost $3000 worth of repairs, and compare it to what the next mechanic tells me. I suspect they are going on the "do not do business with" list.

I am only reluctant to give 5 stars because I have only been here twice. My two visits have been positive so far. The work took a little longer then I had been told and I would encourage them to give daily phone updates on work being done. HOWEVER none of it was a big deal because they provided me with a loner car which goes a long way.
Office staff is incredibly nice, it's a clean shop and they did some follow up work on my car for free, which I would halfway expect considering the amount of cash I dropped on servicing my BMW. But It was still a pleasant surprise and a nice client relationship building gesture.
Will not hesitate to go back or recommend them to other money sucking luxury ride owners :)

I'm one of those "Always Take It To The Dealership" type of people. I bought my VW EOS brand new in 2007 and every oil change or issue I've ever had was always dealt with at the dealership. So, when my 40k mile service came due I naturally called them...and was promptly quoted $860.00! I love my little red convertible but that quote was REALLY high, so I decided to call around.
I live in Florence so there weren't really any nearby options, so I went on Yelp and saw the rave reviews AutoHaus had gotten. I sent them an email that night around midnight and when I called the next morning only 15 minutes after they opened, their service advisor (Jesse) knew exactly who I was and was already working on my quote. He emailed me back within the hour with a quote of $200 less than the dealership for the exact same service! Sold.
When I brought my car in the following Monday, Jesse was there to great me. He was knowledgeable, personable and made me feel extremely comfortable with leaving my car with them. He had told me it would take about 6 to 7 hours and 6.5 hours later he called saying it was ready and we headed right over from VRC. Jesse let me know there were a few things to keep my eye on, but that nothing else required service right now. No scary tactics to get unnecessary repairs? Wonderful! Not only that, but the final cost for the 40k service came in at $80 cheaper than they had initially quoted me!!!
The entire experience was amazing and believe me, they've converted this "Only At The Dealership" girl because I will most definately be back not only with my VW, but with my boyfriend's Kia and my mom's Subaru to their sister store Euro-Asian.
I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE! :)

I was with the local MB dealer for years until I started to feel screwed over with repairs I didn't think I needed. Autohaus gave me a loaner car (please put some fuel in it when you return it) that made life handy. MB parts are an iffy thing, so I never expect a same day repair, but they have done FAR better than any other repair shop. One time they had my car a week, but the same thing happened at the dealer. I just drive around in the loaner until my car is done. They give me time estimates and always call me with any questions. I KNOW for a fact that they are cheaper than the dealer. Both my wife and I drive MBs and don't go anywhere other than Autohaus now. I've dealt with Jessie for about 2 years now.

After a long and heartbreaking process with an independent mechanic who had supposedly "worked on my vehicle since it's inception," I was 200 dollars in the hole (not a major expense for some repairs I realize, but still) and at my wits end as to why my Mini Cooper would not hold a battery charge. Jesse and his mechanics at Autohaus were attentive, world class, efficient, and super personable....something I feel you can only choose 2 of when dealing with car repairs. Gave me a super fair price to fix the corroded ground they found, and most importantly, got my baby back up and running! Thanks so much guys. I will be back if the need arises.

Been to numerous auto repair shops & must say Autohauz is simply the best. Integrity is the best way to sum up my experiences with them. Jessie & crew are way accommodating from loaner vehicle, fair prices & of course excellent work.

Very fast and high quality auto shop. Jesse was very courteous and professional. I was looking to have a full inspection of my vehicle and an oil change. He helped me choose a service that was the best value and met all of my needs. He was able to check me in same day, and his techs returned the car to me a few hours later. Excellent work!

Have an older 3 series. After 50k miles of blissful driving, things started breaking down. Took it to the dealer first for issues with the car, but got annoyed with how expensive repairs were there. Heard about this place from a friend. No fuss, just good service at a fair price. Will continue to do business here.

Having just recently moved to town, one of my biggest fears was trying to find a place to take my car. As anyone will tell you, once you find a great shop - you stick with it. I previously had the fortune of taking my car to a close family friend's shop for most of my life. So I feared that this was going to be challenging.
Autohaus is close by and had some rave reviews on Yelp and I figured I'd give it a look over. After stopping by and taking a quick tour I could tell that this was going to be the shop. OEM parts, clean facility, fair prices, computerized records, and most importantly friendly staff. Autohaus most recently did a major overhaul of my Audi and I can say that I'm glad that I found my service shop in Eugene on my first try!

I've been to Autohaus several times now to service my E63 Mercedes. This is a unique car with many high performance upgrades, I say this only because not all shops are qualified or competent enough to work on such a machine. Each experience has been top notch, Jesse does an excellent job and their estimates have always been spot on. My car has always been ready on time as promised.
But, the BEST thing about Autohaus is the free loaner car. This is a tremendous benefit for a customer and it makes having your car serviced painless, even if you have to leave your car overnight. Living outside of Eugene having to get a ride or wait for an entire day always made me dread getting my car serviced, now it's completely painless. I would (and have) recommend Autohaus to anyone!

My vehicle suddenly developed radiator issues (thanks to my last, now defunct, autoshop leaving tools in the engine compartment). Autohaus was able to recommend a great towing company, called me the next day with an estimate, and an estimate for completion of repair.
They came in a touch under their low ball estimate, were done on time, and treated me like a real person. If you have a German car that goes by a two letter abbreviation, you know after dealing with the local dealership how much you crave good service at a good price. I love that the Autohaus has highly knowledgeable staff, a great sense of humor, and they spend more time looking me in the eye and talking to me as an equal instead of staring at my most excellent rack.

Can't say enough good about the people at Autohaus. I had one very limited and unpleasant experience with the local Benz dealership's service department and after that I spent over a year having my car serviced at the excellent dealership I bought it from--200 miles away. I needed the 40K service done and a lingering post-collision mechanical issue addressed, and my Mercedes long-term service contract had expired, so I phoned the far-flung dealership for an appointment and quote. Because of the initial collision work (and the reviews herein), I was sufficiently impressed to consider starting a relationship with Autohaus. The quote I got was over a hundred dollars less than the dealership, the actual work even less than that (I didn't miss the free pastries, coffee, WiFi, soft drinks, wash/wax, leather zero-gravity waiting-room chairs or (I couldn't make this up) massage at the dealership, but now I know how much we were paying for all those "free" perqs).
Fast, friendly, honest, professional service done thoroughly and right, along with actual advocacy on my behalf with the insurance company: really, I cannot imagine what more I could ask for. Needing service on German luxury cars is not fun, but now that I've found Autohaus, I almost look forward to it. Almost.

I was stranded on one leg of my road trip by a failed rubber fuel hose.
Without any kind of forewarning my tow driver dropped me and my car off at AutoHaus. Jessie and his crew were very courteous and highly professional and were able to get me back on the road the next day. Thanks a Million! I highly recommend this business.

I normally hate taking my car ( or in this case my girlfriend's car) to any shop, but Autohaus is pretty awesome.
Her headlight went out on her new beetle and from her previous experience, it's a pain in the butt to change. So instead of arguing with her about it I looked up how to change it. Definitely looked like a pain. So I caved and called to set up an appointment.
I got there about 15 minutes early and Jesse helped me quickly. He was friendly and professional. The headlight was done in about 30 minutes. It came out to 35 bucks, I was quoted on the phone 45 so I was happy about that.
Great same-day service, can't complain one bit. If you have a newer(they don't work on air-cooled) VW check this place out!

Jessie and his crew at Autohaus have always bent over backwards to serve.
Murphy's Law seems to dictate when cars break down. While unemployed, they provided some free advice on a radiator valve that saved my bacon.
This was right after BMW of Eugene told me to take a walk. "If we aren't doing the repairs, we won't give you advice." Never mind that I'd already spent thousands in their shop. Never again! And when I buy that new Bimmer it won't be at their dealership.
More recently, I was headed to California to get married when my 3 Series started stalling and sputtering. Jessie had the car in, fixed, back on the road in 2 days and I was on my way.
Excellent folks. Excellent work. Highly recommend.

Autohaus Eugene - Best repair shop to date, Boom!
I've gone to Autohaus twice now for big fixes. They provided me with fast answers, excellent communication, and **extremely** friendly service. They have amazing problem-solving abilities: They found things within minutes that the dealership missed for years. They were able to quickly determine the priority of repairs based on the severity, and figure out which parts to order (and which to hold for later) to keep the cost down. And the cost was always within the quoted price. They were able to provide me with a loaner car for both my repairs. The frosting on top... Jesse and his team are ridiculously nice guys!
I've had three Mercedes over a span of almost 20 years... been to all the major dealerships countless times, lots of small independent repair shops, and I've never had such an amazing experience as this. Twice is more than a coincidence: These guys are Johnny-on-the-spot, and this is the repair house I've been searching for!
Thank you Autohaus!!!

I had the unfortunate opportunity to require Autohaus' services a couple weeks ago when my car refused to start, stranding me in Eugene when I was trying to return from a conference.
I had a choice between Autohaus or Sheppard's Volkswagen, and I generally shy away from dealerships for service if at all possible. I checked out Autohaus' website, was impressed and so had AAA drop my car off there.
It cause no small stress to just leave my car sitting on the street across from their business on a Saturday night until they opened Monday morning, but I had to be back in Tillamook for work, so there was no way around it. I filled out their information envelope and dropped my key in the key drop, sent up a prayer, and left my baby 2 1/2 hours from home for how long I knew not.
Jessie from Autohaus gave me a call on Monday morning. He advised he was going to be checking my car out and would get back to me with an estimate. I don't like feeling this way, but I was pretty much at his/their mercy--I needed my car fixed, they had it, and I wasn't going to get it back until they got it running.
They checked it all out, found the problem, remedied it and had it ready for me to pick up (after hours again) the next Friday evening.
If I was in Eugene, I would have no reservations about taking my car here for regular service. They seem to be a reputable business, doing their thing for over 30 years now, corporately responsible, etc., etc. Give their website a look and if you have a European car and are in the Eugene area, give them a call and see what they can do for you.

A great local service center, used them as a tire rack official installer for a set of tires and I must say the shop oozes professionalism, prices are reasonable compared to other european specialty shops in the area, Much more comfortable with bringing any problem I can't figure out myself to them than to the local "people's car" dealer

I've been using Autohaus for my Benz for years. They have great customer service and honest mechanics. It's never cheap to fix most things on the Benz, but their quotes are always comparable to other mechanics. This a family-based business that's been around a long time though. They let me know readily when they think I shouldn't have a specific service done just yet, etc. They keep at it until you're completely satisfied. I've always found them to be very honest. They're also great when you need a lift or a loaner car too. They even have a loaner bike that'll get you a small discount if you take them up on the offer to borrow it. :-) Wouldn't trust my Benz to anyone else.
